00:12I hope another getaway is in our future soon
00:15I have some news to share
00:16You're being reassigned to the field
00:20Honey, I'm gonna tell Maggie I love her
00:22Sam, you've changed and I feel we might have very different priorities
00:26Wyatt's the one who asked you all to help
00:27He's one of the good guys
00:28You're a man of hidden debts, Wyatt
00:31Tomorrow evening I'm cooking you a meal to say thank you
00:34My dad gave me a ride to town and told me what you did
00:37To have you bail my father out like that
00:39It means a lot
00:40I'll have your money by the end of the week
00:42How are you gonna get the $5,000?
00:44I have my ways
00:45I'll be a bit later tomorrow
00:46My dad has a big meeting, he wants to speak with me and my brother
01:28I'll be a man of the day
01:31Constable will be here tomorrow to watch over Brookfield while I'm away.
01:33It's hard to believe you're leaving.
01:35Hopefully not for long.
01:37I'm not really talking to anyone about the new assignment with anyone but you.
01:41I'm not one for goodbyes.
01:43Will you be able to write?
01:45Pray not.
01:46I'll mostly be far from the telegraph offices and postal stations.
01:50I hope you'll be safe.
01:53This is not a goodbye breakfast.
01:54I will see you before I go.
01:57You can count on it.
02:05Morning, Reverend.
02:06Michael, Nora. Good morning.
02:09How's the sermon coming?
02:10Slowly.
02:12I want to talk about Brookfield and what makes it special, but I haven't found the words yet.
02:17I'm sure it will be lovely.
02:19The children and I will be there.
02:22Oh, thank you for that book. I did not see that ending coming.
02:26Oh, I know. I never would have thought it was the chimney suite.
02:29But here we are talking about mystery novels and you're the one solving real crimes.
02:36All right, about Brookfield. There's no place like it.
02:45Everything looks so good. It's impossible to choose.
02:51Good morning.
02:52Good morning.
02:52I'll have a cherry turnover, Debbie.
02:55I'll have one for Maggie as well, please.
02:58Thank you, Sam.
03:01Actually, I think I'll get the coffee cake, please.
03:04So, no turnover?
03:05No, thank you. Not today.
03:07But, Sam, you want the turnover.
03:09No, I, um, I'll have a coffee cake as well.
03:12Please.
03:19I'll just get us a table.
03:20Sorry, I better get mine to go.
03:23Busy day.
03:30Thank you, Debbie.
03:32See you, Sam.
03:38Okay, what did you do?
03:40I don't know.
03:42But I know I need to find out.
03:44So, you want the cherry turnover, though, right?
03:46You hate coffee cake?
03:47Yes.
03:48Please.
03:50I know he means well and he's adjusting to his new role,
03:54but he seems so different.
03:56I'm sure the Sam you fell for is still in there.
03:59I hope so.
04:01But, Nora, he acts like he knows everything.
04:04What I want for breakfast,
04:05what the town council should be doing.
04:10Here's me talking about myself and my friends a little sad.
04:13I'm fine.
04:15Okay.
04:17Here is your first aid kit.
04:20Are you and the children off on an adventure?
04:22No.
04:24This is, um, a gift for Michael.
04:28Oh, is our constable often an assignment?
04:33I'm not supposed to say anything.
04:35Of course not.
04:36But if this kit was for our Mountie,
04:39and if he were to be sent away for a spell,
04:42I know you'd miss him dearly.
04:44I will, Maggie.
04:47I really will.
04:50I know you and Sam have things to figure out.
04:54But he's still in town.
04:57You get to see him every day.
05:00That's a gift, Maggie.
05:03Maggie.
05:11Maggie.
05:12Maggie.
05:13Maggie.
05:13Maggie.
05:13Maggie.
05:14Maggie.
05:16Maggie.
05:16Maggie.
05:20Good.
05:20I caught you.
05:21Good morning.
05:22Need something?
05:23No.
05:24I just wanted to remind you about our dinner tonight.
05:26Right.
05:27Anything I can bring?
05:28No.
05:29You don't need to bring a thing.
05:30It'll be simple.
05:31Nothing special.
05:33Got it.
05:33Nothing special.
05:40Here we go.
05:41Just as we agreed.
05:43And all you have to do is sign it.
05:46Right there.
05:50Trust me, Tom.
05:52You're making the right choice.
05:53These funds are going to set up your family nice and good.
05:57Yeah.
06:02Tess, we're in the middle of a business.
06:03Hey, I'm afraid that's confidential information.
06:05Can't buy something that isn't for sale.
06:07It's my land, Tess, and I'm selling it.
06:09I'm sorry, Tom.
06:10It's not your land anymore.
06:11What's going on?
06:12I just got back from picking this up in Clearwater.
06:14Your payments were late.
06:16I had to foreclose on you.
06:17Is this legitimate?
06:19You've got to read the fine print, Tom.
06:21We have a clause in our contract that states I can foreclose on you if your payments are late.
06:25That's what I've had to do.
06:26You're going to stew my ranch, my home.
06:28What are you up to, Mrs. Stewart?
06:30I got to take the land, but I'm not going to touch your house.
06:34Am I supposed to thank you for that, Tess?
06:35Not asking for thanks.
06:38It's not what I wanted, Tom.
06:45Well, that was a colossal waste of my time.
06:49Oh, hi, Tess.
06:55You changed.
06:57Not a compliment.
06:58You're starting to look like that man in there.
07:01Watch yourself.
07:15I got you this.
07:17Thought it might come in handy.
07:20That's very thoughtful.
07:22Oh.
07:24I have been known to suffer an injury every now and then.
07:31We really are packing up.
07:33Just a few things that are too important to leave behind.
07:37Like this.
07:39Oh, that's nice.
07:42Will you come say goodbye to the children?
07:44I'm trying not to make this a big farewell.
07:47Hoping they'll be back before they notice I'm gone.
07:49They'll notice.
07:51We'll miss you.
07:53I'll miss you all.
07:57Well, I've moved around a lot.
08:00But this is the first time I want to hold on to what I'm leaving behind.
08:05This drawing will help.
08:08When I look at it, it'll remind me of the children.
08:13End of view.
08:18All right.
08:20Thyme, paprika, curry, rosemary, and cinnamon.
08:25You need all these?
08:26No, you want fancy.
08:27You need lots of flavors.
08:29So when you cook a roast, Ronnie, you use all these seasonings?
08:33Me?
08:34No, no, no, no.
08:34We have a chef at the Royal Brookfield.
08:36Although I assume this is how she makes her roasts.
08:39No, uh, dessert.
08:43Why don't you stop by my shop before heading back to the ranch?
08:46You have a recipe you'd like to share?
08:48Not exactly a recipe.
08:58Is it true?
09:01If you're asking, am I foreclosing on the clay ranch, then yes, it's true.
09:12And you expect me to keep working for you?
09:15I understand that you're upset.
09:18I'm not just upset, Tess.
09:22I quit.
09:31I would rather that you didn't.
09:37But it's a free country.
09:58I broke a glass vial earlier.
10:01It's hard to focus.
10:03I'm sure Sam feels the same way.
10:05Does he?
10:06He hasn't spoken to me since this morning.
10:08Maybe he doesn't know what to say.
10:12I realize he's going through a lot of change.
10:14He's adjusting to this new role.
10:17Maybe I've been too hard on him.
10:22I just want it to work.
10:24Well, this morning after you left,
10:27Sam said he knew that he messed up.
10:29He just isn't sure how, and...
10:31He wants to make it up to you.
10:33He said that.
10:48Okay, what's going on?
10:55Okay, buddy-to-buddy, real talk.
10:58Do I seem different to you?
11:00Well, you mean the suits?
11:02No.
11:04Maybe.
11:05Just since I started at the hotel, have I changed?
11:08Yes.
11:10For better or for worse?
11:13Well, let's just say I miss the old Sam.
11:17What's different about me?
11:21Kind of everything.
11:22Look, where is this coming from?
11:24It's just Maggie's upset with me.
11:25Tess just told me she didn't even recognize me.
11:27I guess she likes the old Sam better, too.
11:30Old Sam knew Sam.
11:31You're still someone I'm proud to call my friend.
11:35Thanks.
11:40You know, I miss this.
11:42You and me.
11:43Mm-hmm.
11:46Would you mind if I gave Ronnie the owner's suite back?
11:51Maybe move back in with you?
11:53Would I mind?
11:58Joe?
12:00Are you crying?
12:02Of course not.
12:04I'm just really, really happy.
12:23Anna?
12:32Sorry.
12:33Things just got away from me.
12:34Oh.
12:34Let me.
12:45Please, sit.
12:51Sorry, I didn't.
12:52I just thought this was a simple dinner.
12:54That's just a roast and some vegetables.
12:57I tried to make a souffle earlier, but that other plate.
13:03But that didn't turn out.
13:05You cooked in that dress?
13:08No, I changed.
13:09I was packing for New York, so I thought I would try on a few things, and I just ended
13:14up in this.
13:18Please, start.
13:20Oh, my God.
13:24Please, start.
13:26Great.
13:36I think you're going to do the hotel.
13:40True, yeah.
13:41Not much sleep.
13:42Well, this tea really helped Debbie when she couldn't sleep.
13:45Well, that's very kind of you, but unnecessary.
13:50Are you sure you're feeling okay?
13:53Ron is moving out.
13:54Back to the hotel.
13:56And Sam?
13:57He's moving back in with me.
13:58So you see, all is right in the world.
14:01Wait, Sam really gave Ronnie back the sweet?
14:03He's going to, yeah.
14:05He is the best friend anyone could ever have.
14:07But no one knows that better than you, right?
14:11Right.
14:15I'm grateful for the new hat that Miss Noor knit for me.
14:24What are you grateful for, Miss Noor?
14:29I'm grateful for the people who have shaped my life.
14:33All of you who are here now.
14:36Those who have left.
14:38Or might be leaving.
14:43Something came to me today.
14:46What if we all made a mural together?
14:50We could each draw something that brings us comfort
14:53or reminds us where we came from or who we are.
14:57What do you think?
14:59I'd love that.
15:01Me too.
15:01Can I draw a baseball?
15:03You could draw whatever means something to you.
15:17You know, if you think of it like jerky,
15:19it's not that bad.
15:24I'll be right back.
15:38Dig in.
15:39My backup plan from Debbie's.
15:43Oh, thank goodness.
15:47I can't be good at everything.
15:49You're a fantastic designer.
15:52Good rancher.
15:54Good rancher?
15:56I don't want to go to your head.
15:58Cooking, uh, not so much.
16:06Is that one of your designs?
16:08It is.
16:09Mm-hmm.
16:12You're going to turn some heads in New York.
16:17Not just because of the dress.
16:19You look beautiful, Anna.
16:25Thanks for coming to dinner.
16:30Yeah, it's getting late, so...
16:33Um, you need me to help you clean up?
16:36Oh, no.
16:38Well, I should get back to the barn.
16:40I've got some chores to finish.
16:42Oh, wait.
16:45Barely touched your sandwich.
16:47At least take it to go.
16:51Okay.
16:52Thanks.
16:52If you don't mind.
16:53No.
16:53I will.
17:01Shh.
17:02Anna.
17:04Is there something else you wanted to talk about?
17:08No.
17:10Okay.
17:11Thanks for everything.
17:24Oh, Ronnie.
17:26How are you this fine evening?
17:27Huh.
17:28Joe, you seem like you're in a good mood.
17:30I am.
17:31I am indeed.
17:33I guess you, uh...
17:35I guess you don't know yet.
17:37What's that?
17:39Look, I'm sorry, buddy, but I'm moving back into the Royal Brookfield.
17:44Right.
17:46Well, Sam is moving back in with you.
17:49Yeah.
17:51I know how happy that makes you, and that, in turn, makes me very happy.
18:00Joe, you are a good man.
18:02You really are.
18:29I could do a chemistry set or a microscope.
18:33I could do music notes.
18:35Maybe a guitar.
18:37It's nice that you have so many things you love.
18:39You'll think of the right thing.
18:46My mom's favorite flowers were wildflowers, because they bloom on their own.
18:51It's gonna look really good, won't it, Miss Nora?
18:53Indeed it will.
18:56I'm telling you, she up and stabbed me in the back.
18:58This is a woman I called friend for 30 years.
19:02Why would Tess do a thing like that?
19:04I don't know.
19:05The stewards are always about growing their ranch.
19:08When it comes to land, you can't trust them.
19:10Not even a clay ranch anymore.
19:11Just a piece of the ever-growing Stewart ranch.
19:15What's going on?
19:17What are you saying, Tom?
19:19What am I saying?
19:20I'm saying that Tess's steward, while pretending to help a fellow rancher,
19:23use some legal mumbo-jumbo to steal my land.
19:26It's true.
19:27Hard to believe, but it seems that's what you did.
19:31What was you, Tom?
19:33This woman.
19:34She is every bit as much a predator as any wolf that ever took our cattle.
19:46What happened?
19:50Hammer and I got in a disagreement.
19:53Are you okay?
19:56Yeah, I'm fine.
19:57You sure about that?
19:58Let me see.
19:59That looks bad.
20:01I barely hit it.
20:03It could be broken.
20:04Let me help you.
20:05Come on.
20:31You seem out of sorts.
20:34I just have a low tolerance for seeing people get take advantage of.
20:40Tess's foreclosed on Tom's ranch.
20:42What?
20:43How can she do that?
20:45Apparently they had a contract, but it's wrong in every way.
20:51You seem pretty adamant about that.
20:53It's too close to home.
20:57My dad lost our ranch.
20:59How?
21:00Gambling.
21:02Bets were too high.
21:03Is that why you left for the rodeo?
21:06Didn't have a home.
21:07Mom, sister, brother needed help.
21:10I was old enough to work, so the rodeo threw me in the ring with a bull.
21:15You did that to protect your family.
21:17Didn't last long, though.
21:19Well, my dad found out I was sending money.
21:21He, uh, took it.
21:24And what did your mom do?
21:26She stayed.
21:28He gave a bunch of false promises, but, uh, I saw through it, though.
21:34I'm so sorry.
21:36Why?
21:38You didn't do anything?
21:39You're my friend, and I look after my friends.
21:44Lawrence is a good that way.
21:47So are Parker's.
21:49This one, at least.
21:55Now, what is that?
21:57That is me protecting my best foreman.
22:01I'm your only foreman, Anna.
22:04Yes.
22:05Well, you know what I mean.
22:09Now, this is a temporary splint, so we'll probably want to see Maggie and make sure it's not broken.
22:16I'm not going to argue with you on this one.
22:20I don't know.
22:21What I have to break you, Maggie.
22:23Yeah.
22:26It's all right.
22:31Ronnie!
22:34I need my partner.
22:35I'm right here, pal.
22:36Life partner.
22:37Like I said, I'm not going anywhere.
22:38I appreciate that, but I'm talking about Maggie.
22:41Well, I want her to be my wife.
22:44Ronnie.
22:46I'm going to propose.
22:48Mister, you have come to the right place.
22:50If anybody knows anything about proposing, it's this guy.
22:53I can't tell you how many times I've done this.
22:55Come on!
23:02I'm so glad you came over.
23:04Wyatt's getting his hand checked in town, so I thought I'd drop by.
23:07Is he okay?
23:09Is he okay?
23:09Is he okay?
23:12Are you?
23:13Wait.
23:14You're leaving tonight.
23:15I'm on the evening stagecoach.
23:18It's all happening at once, Nora.
23:21Wyatt doesn't know how you feel.
23:24I couldn't say anything.
23:26I keep thinking I'll have the courage, and then he looks at me, and I don't.
23:33Well, if you don't say something, he'll never know how you feel.
23:37That's why I'm doomed to be alone.
23:38Okay.
23:39Let's not go there.
23:42You are taking a train to New York to premiere your first collection.
23:46You are incredibly brave and talented, and beyond that, you are worthy and deserving of love.
23:53Wyatt Parker should be so lucky.
23:57That's quite the pep talk.
24:00I've spent my whole life thinking that love wasn't in the cards for me.
24:04And now?
24:05And now?
24:07I don't want that to be true anymore.
24:11Good.
24:12So if you are telling me to be brave and open my heart, we both need to.
24:18You've got to tell Michael.
24:20There are reasons that it's unfair for me to tell him anything right now.
24:25No time like the present.
24:26To confess your feelings to someone who's leaving?
24:29Technically, I'm the one leaving.
24:31Wait, is Michael?
24:33Miss Nora?
24:34Uh, Charlotte, I'm in here with Hannah.
24:38Hi, Charlotte.
24:39I heard you're all working on a mural.
24:41I are.
24:43What's wrong, honey?
24:45I don't know what to put on it.
24:47I can't paint it.
24:48I won't be able to see it anyway.
24:51Well, maybe we can come up with something together.
24:55Something that's meaningful to you?
24:57No.
25:13What does she got to smile about?
25:15Just smirking away after destroying a fellow rancher.
25:18It's like she has no soul.
25:19Yeah.
25:31Yeah.
25:52What's that?
25:53That is Charlotte's honorary key to Brookfield.
25:56It's so special.
25:58We're going to place it on the mural.
26:01Okay.
26:08It's perfect.
26:11Oh, I think I'll try a sample of the vanilla, please,
26:14and maybe some of the chocolate as well.
26:16What's this for?
26:17Oh, a wedding.
26:21Mmm.
26:22Oh, that's quite surprising.
26:23Is that like icing a lemon?
26:25Lemon cream.
26:26Ooh.
26:26Oh, although you really cannot beat a chocolate mousse.
26:31Oh, so smooth.
26:32I'm sorry, who's getting married?
26:34Oh, I'm afraid I can't disclose that just yet, Debbie,
26:36but I will tell you that you know them, both of them.
26:40More coffee?
26:41Oh, thank you.
26:44Sam and Maggie?
26:44Yeah.
26:46Now, Sam hasn't popped the question yet,
26:47so it's still very hush-hush.
26:49Mom's the word.
26:49Mm-hmm.
26:56Hey.
26:59You lied to me.
27:01I did what I had to do.
27:02You're not a martyr, Tess.
27:04Keep your voice down.
27:05You know, you're just as bad as L&M.
27:07Taking ranches away from this community?
27:11I thought we were on the same side.
27:12We are.
27:13I'm trying to protect this town from large conglomerates.
27:16Oh, yeah?
27:17Well, you went behind my back.
27:18You were behind all of our backs.
27:19What happens to keeping each other in the loop?
27:22Joining forces so we can protect the other ranchers?
27:24We still can.
27:25I didn't tell you about Eli Hopkins,
27:27so you could steal Tom's ranch out from under it.
27:29So you're okay with L&M taking Tom's ranch?
27:32Because that's what was on the table.
27:34That's the reality of it, Wyatt.
27:37Of course I care about this town.
27:40All you care about is growing your ranch.
27:43Congratulations.
27:45You did it.
27:49It could be quite a spectacle.
27:50What do you think about proposing to Maggie
27:52with the sweet sounds of a harpist serenading you?
27:54No harpists.
27:55Oh, okay, right.
27:56Yeah.
27:56Now, I know you're a gold man,
27:57but we do have to discuss diamonds at some point.
27:59And trust me, the bigger the better.
28:01Also, how do you feel about swans?
28:02Ronnie, it's not that your elaborate ideas
28:05aren't good.
28:06I love swans.
28:09Of all the proposals you've had,
28:10how many said yes?
28:13Oh, well, Sam,
28:14would I be here with you right now if they did?
28:16No, no, I'd be with sweet Melanie,
28:18sailing the River Nile.
28:20I'm sorry, Ronnie.
28:21This isn't going to work.
28:22None of these ideas are Maggie.
28:23Sam, she did date a Maharaja.
28:25Yes, everybody knows she's out of my league,
28:27but I know her heart.
28:29I have to listen to it.
28:31I got to do this on my own.
28:38Swans.
28:43There's room for one more.
28:47You sure you want to associate with me?
28:50I'm the Mountie.
28:52No one associates with me anyway.
28:54Besides,
28:56I'd always be proud to sit with Tess Stewart.
29:04All right, then.
29:06You tell me, what have you heard?
29:08Nothing you don't already know.
29:10Seems you're not very popular amongst ranchers.
29:13Well, doing the right thing
29:14doesn't always make you popular.
29:17Checking this town from the L&M Cattle Company
29:19is no small feat.
29:22Wyatt didn't feel that way.
29:26I did get some happy news today.
29:33I could use some of that.
29:36A new baby, Stuart, was born in London today.
29:39From a grandmother
29:42to a little girl named Tessa.
29:48With a name like that?
29:51She's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
29:58Ah, just who I wanted to see.
30:00Ah, Joshua.
30:01Is everything okay?
30:02Yes, thanks.
30:03I'm speaking to members of the community
30:04before my sermon.
30:09How is your son coming?
30:10Good.
30:11I'm on a break.
30:12Right as cramp.
30:13Ah, I can give you some healing balm.
30:15No, no, it should be okay.
30:17Well, I just hope that we're...
30:18You know, I've been looking for this town
30:22to get a community hold.
30:27You know, I can tell you're...
30:30I do love it.
30:31Ah, come on, come on.
30:32Well, you ever considered running for mayor?
30:34Honey, someone else mentioned the idea
30:36of town mayor the other day
30:37and I shut it down.
30:38Oh?
30:39I could have been more open-minded.
30:42Humility, self-awareness.
30:43That, to me, is the sign of a good leader.
30:46Hmm.
30:48Wyatt?
30:49Wyatt, you back?
30:55Wyatt?
30:56I just couldn't...
30:57I couldn't keep working there.
30:59No, no, no.
30:59You did the right thing.
31:01Is everything okay?
31:04Lucy just quit.
31:07There's got to be something we can do for her.
31:09I'm so sorry, Lucy.
31:11Lucy.
31:17I'm sure we can use an extra hand sometimes.
31:19No, no, no.
31:20That's true.
31:21With you gone, that works out perfectly.
31:23You can take over Hannah's duties.
31:26Okay.
31:27Yeah.
31:28That'd be great.
31:32Are you sure you're okay with this?
31:39Ranchers help ranchers.
31:41Remember.
31:53Am I interrupting?
31:55No.
31:56Just finishing up.
31:58I brought you something for the road.
32:04Butter-tart bandits.
32:06Your favorite.
32:09Pretty sure I'd trade these here bandits for another day in Brookfield.
32:15Michael, I know you're leaving, but you were honest with me, so I feel inclined to be honest with you.
32:25Okay.
32:29Growing up, I watched my older sister be estranged from our parents when she got married.
32:37It was so painful.
32:40I never allowed love into my life.
32:44I've always been careful to keep things on a friendship level.
32:50But in my heart, it's been lonely.
32:58I'm realizing maybe that's not my story anymore.
33:05I'm ready to open my heart and let someone in.
33:12You're a special woman, Mark.
33:15And you deserve a great love story.
33:20I wish this was the beginning of something new for you and me.
33:25Maybe it still can be.
33:32Just know that our door is open to you whenever you return.
33:37You and Rufus.
33:41Actually, I was kind of hoping you and the children wouldn't mind keeping an eye on my deputy for me.
33:47Well, of course.
33:50We'll happily take great care of Rufus.
33:53Won't we, boy?
34:04Michael, I hope that this is...
34:06I don't know.
34:17Notice anything familiar?
34:18Sam, are you going gold mining?
34:23No.
34:26I, um...
34:31I wanted you to see that I've changed.
34:35Back.
34:37I lost myself a little, Maggie.
34:40And I'm sorry.
34:41For not hearing you, for not seeing how I was behaving,
34:44and for not understanding how important the town council is to you.
34:48No, Sam.
34:49I've been thinking about what I said.
34:51You've been trying really hard at this new role, and I haven't always been fair.
34:57I'm sorry.
34:59I love you.
35:02Maggie, I came here to tell you the exact same thing.
35:05I love you.
35:10Now you have no idea how long I've wanted to say those words.
35:27Maggie Parsons,
35:29will you do me the greatest honour of making me the luckiest man on this earth?
35:35Is that a piece of my amethyst from India?
35:38It is.
35:40But you're giving my stone back to me.
35:43I'm good for the gold.
35:45But I thought it'd be special if I made you a ring.
35:48As a part of you and a part of me.
35:51As a symbol of our unity.
35:55Do you truly understand me?
35:57Of course I do.
35:59Maggie, you are my best friend.
36:01And I want to spend the rest of my life finding ways to make you happy.
36:05I'll even become a silent partner in the hotel if you want.
36:08No, Sam, I want you to be you.
36:10You shouldn't have to compromise who you are or sacrifice yourself for love.
36:15All I wanted to know was that you cared and that you heard me.
36:19Loud and clear, my love.
36:23Now.
36:27Maggie Parsons.
36:29Will you marry me?
36:31Yes, Sam Chon, I will marry you.
36:42She said yes!
36:46You're in case!
36:47I did it!
36:48I got my first yes!
36:53Hey, Rufus!
36:55Hi, Rufus!
36:56What are you doing here?
36:58Rufus is going to be staying with us for a while, if that's okay with you.
37:02Can you sleep in our room?
37:03We can discuss that.
37:05We need to have Rufus to the mural.
37:06Maybe with a Mountie hat?
37:08Wait, if Rufus is staying with us, then what about Mountie Fletcher?
37:20You, uh, coming to this room in Fletcher?
37:22Constable.
37:23I have some things to take care of, Ronnie, but maybe next time.
37:26Bye.
37:26Bye, we'll, uh, see you later.
37:34You going?
37:36Not today.
37:37Take care, Joe.
37:45Hannah.
37:52You left with us saying bye?
37:55You're busy with Lucy.
37:56I didn't want to interrupt anything.
38:04I brought you something.
38:10Beats jerky.
38:12There's no ham sandwich, but like I said, jerky's good in a pinch.
38:28Wyatt, I know it's only a few weeks, but I'm...
38:34I'm really good in this.
38:38I'll miss you, too.
38:42Knock him dead, Hannah Lawrence.
38:58Wyatt?
39:01Take good care of the ranch.
39:03Always do.
39:11Here you go, Rufus.
39:14Oh, I know, Rufus.
39:18I guess we can miss him together.
39:21Hey, boy.
39:22Miss Nora!
39:23Miss Nora!
39:24Miss Nora, we finished the mural.
39:29Open your eyes.
39:34Do you like it?
39:38I love it.
39:47Your families would be so proud and honored to be represented in such good company.
39:52My papa taught me how to play music.
39:54My parents always said the world is full of wonder if you look close enough.
39:59Where did that heart come from?
40:01Dolores made it.
40:02It's for you, Miss Nora.
40:03It represents your heart, which is as big as the ocean.
40:08You take care of us.
40:10And give us hope.
40:11You love us.
40:12And you make us a family.
40:14Come here.
40:15Come here.
40:26I never saw myself as a mother.
40:29But now I can't imagine being anywhere else.
40:33I hope you know how much you all mean to me.
40:37And how loved you are.
41:02Okay.
41:02Hello.
41:03Can I sneak through?
41:06Welcome.
41:07It feels very meaningful to gather with you all here today in prayer and service to this wonderful community.
41:13Since I arrived in Brookfield, I've been lucky to speak to each of you, hearing your stories and dreams that
41:18light up your souls.
41:20I'd like to speak to something that's been reverberating around my conversations the last few days, and that is the
41:27notion of impermanence.
41:30Change is inevitable.
41:34Sometimes we feel we're in control of our life's path.
41:38Other times we feel like we're a leaf blowing in the wind at the mercy of God's will.
41:46Both are true.
41:50In times of wobble and uncertainty, we must trust that God is always in control.
41:57And that wherever the wind takes us is for our highest good and God's great glory.
42:06Sometimes the road feels lonely, without a friend in sight.
42:11But you never know the impact you might have on someone.
42:16Their role in your life, and you in theirs.
42:21A wise man once said, when you find your place, you feel it stir in your heart.
42:29Ever since I first stepped foot in Brookfield, I have felt that quiet truth that said,
42:36Welcome home.
42:39But what makes a place become a home is the community.
42:48For it's the people who touch our path, who shape us, and make us who we are, and make life
42:56so very meaningful.
42:59We don't always know if someone's in our life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
43:05But what matters is that they were there, and love was shared.
43:23So, let us give thanks for the season we have spent together.
