00:00Since Jules wants to play the game, let me play too.
00:06So I'm taking a few of her jokes.
00:09Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:11And today we're counting down our picks for the exact moments contestants on RuPaul's Drag Race entered their villain era.
00:17Some spoilers may be mentioned, so this is your official warning.
00:20I don't have time to deal with this right now.
00:23When I think 90s rap girl, my first thought isn't to go to Dayla.
00:30Number 20, Sierra Mist, plotting to sabotage Discord Addams.
00:34Sometimes one has to go to extreme measures to maintain their spot in a competition.
00:39Sierra Mist experienced this firsthand following her performance in the Raid of Queen talent show, where she was ranked in
00:44last place.
00:45That meant that she would have to lip sync for her life the following episode.
00:48This wham, glam, thank you ma'am, didn't work out for me.
00:52Thankfully, I've got a whole week to figure out how I'm going to make sure I stay and I send
00:57one of these other girls home.
00:58Sierra decided that her best chance of survival was going up against a competitor she felt she could beat.
01:03Her final plan?
01:04Convincing the Group 1 contestants to intentionally give Discord Addams a lower score.
01:09I have to look at those girls critically and say, who can I out-twirl today?
01:13Do you have someone in particular that you feel?
01:17If I'm thinking strategically, I've seen Discord before.
01:22Her attempted sabotage backfired almost immediately when multiple queens warned Discord about the plan.
01:27Although it didn't work in the end, it showed a calculating side of Sierra that the viewers hadn't seen yet.
01:33I wanted to be a superhero growing up.
01:35And Sierra Mist is my not-so-secret identity.
01:39And I want to be able to use her to make the world a safer and better place.
01:49The antagonist of Season 15 was clear from the very beginning.
01:59Mistress Isabel Brooks wasn't shy about throwing shade, which became evident as soon as Sugar and Spice trotted into the
02:05workroom.
02:06Once they finished their entrance, viewers were treated to a confessional from Mistress, where she gave her candid thoughts on
02:12the twins.
02:20Her shady status was confirmed later on that episode, when she responded to them talking about their TikTok fame by
02:26pretending she had never heard of them before.
02:28It was an iconic introduction to her villainy.
02:30Any of y'all recognize us from TikTok?
02:32I did, yeah.
02:34No.
02:34No.
02:35I do know them, but I'm not going to give them the satisfaction that I do.
02:39Never heard of you, baby.
02:41Her arc continued throughout her season and into All-Stars 10, when she successfully conspired to steal points for herself
02:47and Georges from Carrie Colby and Nicole Paige Brooks.
02:50Nicole said we're keeping the Brooks in the family and we're not really related, so here's my point, Georges.
02:54I love you, sister.
02:56I love you, sister.
02:56And let me get my back.
02:57You know what?
02:59And it's giving, I'm sorry, I should have been at the top, we should have been at the top, so
03:03now we're even.
03:04Number 18, Naomi Smalls, eliminating Manila Luzon.
03:08Naomi and Monet have a choice right now.
03:11They can get rid of their biggest competition or they can keep me in the game and fight with the
03:18biggest, the baddest, and the best.
03:19So it's going to be up to them to decide how they want to play this game.
03:23Although this decision was the most strategic in terms of bettering her chances of winning, it also solidified her status
03:30as a villain.
03:30Manila Luzon did extremely well throughout All-Stars 4 and won multiple challenges.
03:35Naomi Smalls noticed this and took note.
03:52In the eighth episode, the latter found herself in the top and the front runner in the bottom.
03:57When she was declared the lip sync victor, she immediately used her power as the winner to send Manila home.
04:02I'm so sorry that I have to send home Manila.
04:08It was a truly shocking elimination, but Naomi seemingly didn't regret it a single bit.
04:13She even doubled down on her controversial choice the following episode, making it clear that she felt her choice was
04:18valid, even if some wouldn't think it was fair.
04:21I think we're realizing that this competition now, we're not going to be judging it fairly, because what's fair?
04:27Right.
04:28Life's not fair.
04:29Life's not fair.
04:30Yes, bitch, good luck.
04:31Number 17, Raven.
04:32Coming for Tatiana.
04:34Throughout the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race, this queen was unapologetic in offering her often critical opinions about others.
04:40However, one person in particular was constantly the target of Raven's ire.
04:45Tatiana's an airhead.
04:47Tatiana doesn't have an opinion or a voice.
04:50The only thing she has is a pretty face, and even that I'm getting sick of.
04:54During the seventh episode, they were all tasked with creating autobiographies.
04:58Tatiana didn't do the best, which Raven made sure to comment on during Untucked.
05:02She insulted her in confessionals and to the other contestants, dragging everything from Tatiana's look to her performance in the
05:08challenge.
05:09Her wig looked greasy.
05:11The bangs were just a parted mess.
05:13Her interview was s***.
05:15Her look was s***.
05:16Her book cover was s***.
05:18Her trying to launch and sell her book to the judges was s***y s***.
05:21Although she'd been shady in the past, these reads in particular came across as personal.
05:26Their feud continued on for the rest of the competition, and by the time it was over, Raven's role as
05:31the villain was more than solidified.
05:33I think Raven comes across very b***y and very cold, and I think even the judges have said that to
05:39her.
05:39And to me, someone that is America's next drag superstar is someone that can be fun and approachable.
05:49With just one quote, she transformed into the villain of season 13.
05:54Keep in mind, it's not like that.
05:56You're overconfident, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it just come off as arrogant.
06:01That's just my opinion.
06:02I'm nobody.
06:03Following the bag ball, the queens took to Untucked, where Candy Muse began her shady descent.
06:08After being accused of being arrogant by Tamisha Iman, she went off and declared that if someone didn't have star
06:13quality, then they needed to leave.
06:22This triggered a larger argument between herself and Tamisha, which ended with the two yelling at one another and getting
06:28into each other's faces.
06:29Candy coming for a legend in the drag scene was a bold choice, especially one that the fans already loved.
06:35Although the fight solidified her as an antagonist, it also created TV gold that helped her and Tamisha gain even
06:41more attention.
06:42Let me be arrogant, baby!
06:44It does not change what I said. I said what I said!
06:47Number 15. Darian Lake.
06:49Coming for Ben de la Creme.
06:51Given that the queens are all competing for the crown, it only makes sense that rivalries would form.
06:55During the sixth season, that was the case for Darian Lake and Ben de la Creme.
06:59I think it's better not to strut around and be like a peacock when you win.
07:03You gotta make sure that you're not too in love with yourself.
07:07Ben de la Creme.
07:08I don't know what that's about.
07:12I gotta send her home.
07:13Although they worked together previously, that all changed during Oh No, She Better Don't.
07:18The sixth episode saw Darian's claws come out for the first time, with her making the bold choice to not
07:23choose De La for her team.
07:25I can't believe that Darian isn't choosing me.
07:27It's a little bit of a slap in the face to not be chosen with the rest of those girls.
07:31While that wasn't necessarily villainous by itself, her defensive attitude over her choice was.
07:36When she was asked about her choice later on, she immediately shut it down with an abrasive response.
07:41It then cut to Darian's confessional, where she implied that she thought De La wouldn't do well in the 90s
07:47rap-themed challenge.
07:48All right, I'll be direct about it. Darian, why don't you choose me?
07:51And I'll be completely honest. It's none of your f***ing weaknesses.
07:56You know what? I don't have time to deal with this right now.
08:00When I think 90s rap girl, my first thought isn't to go to De La.
08:04Number 14. Britta. Attacking Aiden Zayn.
08:07One constant throughout RuPaul's Drag Race is the contestants being asked who they think should go home.
08:12When the Season 12 batch was faced with this question, Britta initially responded by saying Nikki Doll should be eliminated.
08:18Britta, same question.
08:19The character that I didn't really understand that well out of all the girls was Nikki's.
08:24However, her tune changed once they joined the Safe Queens for Untucked.
08:28There, she lamented about her choice and said that she wished she had picked someone else.
08:32When pressed for an answer, she immediately called Aiden Zayn out, who had been deemed safe.
08:37She laid into her and even proclaimed that she should have been in the bottom.
08:41And I'm working so hard and I'm really giving everything that I have to do this.
08:46And I don't think that Aiden should have been safe.
08:49Although Aiden stood up for herself and Britta apologized after the episode aired,
08:53the latter was seen as the villain in the eyes of several fans.
08:56Well, say it. Who do you think should go home?
08:58Aiden.
08:59Number 13. India Farah.
09:01Accusing Alexis of sabotage.
09:03I'm real. I'm not here to play a game. That's been weighing on my shoulders.
09:07No, you're playing the game. Let me tell you why you're playing the game.
09:09I'm not playing the game.
09:09Because you know you are about to go home because you have been in the bottom for so long.
09:13I'm fine.
09:13And now you need a little plug to save yourself.
09:16When you stand the chance of being eliminated by your peers,
09:19you may find yourself doing anything to stay on their good side.
09:22India Farah appeared to have this mentality when she found herself in the bottom for the fourth episode in a
09:27row.
09:27This led her to inform Shea Coulee that Alexis Mateo had conspired to send her home earlier on in the
09:33season.
09:33Do you remember when you were in the bottom with me and Mariah?
09:36Mm-hmm.
09:36Alexis and Mayhem came to me asking me to put your lipstick.
09:40Making such a claim not only increased Alexis' chance of going home,
09:44it also painted her as a ruthless competitor.
09:47The accused queen denied the allegations.
09:57India's last-ditch effort to stay in the competition led to her elimination
10:00and her being deemed a liar on national television, ending her All-Stars run on a rough note.
10:06You're a liar, and this is why Derek don't like you.
10:09Number 12.
10:10Raja, Delta Work, Manila Luzon, and Carmen Carrera.
10:14Heathers vs. Boogers.
10:15Not every season has just one villain.
10:17The third installment in the main franchise saw four queens sharing that status.
10:21Heather, can you help me?
10:23Yes, Heather.
10:25I think it's hilarious we're calling each other Heather now.
10:28Well, I mean, aren't we? Those are our names.
10:30Like, do they all kill each other?
10:31Well, yeah, only one Heather stands.
10:34Right, Manila?
10:35The Heathers, composed of Raja, Delta Work, Manila Luzon, and Carmen Carrera,
10:40were formed in the beginning of the competition.
10:42Although their bond began in the earlier episodes,
10:44they officially solidified their click in the seventh episode.
10:47This machine, this bitch's name, Bertha.
10:49What, Bertha?
10:51Oh, fuck.
10:51Ugh.
10:53Annoying.
10:55Now you know.
10:56They saw themselves as above the other contestants when it came to both talent and looks.
11:00Those involved even went so far as to refer to their fellow competitors as boogers,
11:05which was essentially a nicer way of saying they weren't up to par.
11:08Although those outside of the click more than held their own in the game,
11:12the Heathers' confidence never wavered.
11:14And I'm sure they don't even get the reference.
11:15They don't.
11:16You know, they don't have TV or anything, so.
11:19Delta Work.
11:21To me, if you don't understand it, you're dumb.
11:27Number 11.
11:28Arrietty.
11:28Stealing Jules' Jokes.
11:30Well, since Jules wants to play the game, let me play too.
11:37So, I'm taking a few of her jokes.
11:40How fun.
11:42Even something as seemingly small as the performance order in a challenge can cause a villain to be born.
11:47That was the case for Arrietty, who felt slighted over her placement in the roast lineup.
11:51She saw it as Jules intentionally trying to sabotage her and quickly turned on her.
11:56Rather than harness that energy and come up with some playfully shady reads,
12:00she instead opted to steal her competitor's jokes as revenge.
12:03Arrietty put her plan into action during her set,
12:06inserting two plagiarized jokes that threw Jules off her game.
12:09I'm not gonna make a fat joke about Mistress,
12:11because Mistress is already a fat joke.
12:14Oh my god, she stole my jokes.
12:21It paid off in the short term,
12:23with her former friend ending up in the bottom alongside her.
12:26Although she went home,
12:27she left with her villainous status fully intact.
12:30I guess I'm coming off a little aggressive.
12:34Which is not the way I want to end, with that in mind.
12:40Number 10.
12:41Plain Jane.
12:42Her entrance.
12:44Villain.
12:44I'm not a villain, I'm just a bitch.
12:46The best reality TV stars let you know who they are immediately.
12:50Season 16's Plain Jane was clearly not there to be liked.
12:54If she were,
12:55she wouldn't have used her very first confessional to take a shot at Katya,
12:59arguably one of the most beloved contestants of all time.
13:02I'm Plain Jane,
13:03and I'm the authentically Russian clown hooker from Boston.
13:07Then, to prove her authentic Russian heritage,
13:10she demonstrates her ability with the language
13:12by brutally insulting all the queens who walked in before her.
13:15This is all within the first two minutes of meeting her, mind you.
13:18People would describe my personality as really fun,
13:21really friendly, and caring.
13:23Not a bitch at all.
13:25Yeah.
13:26Plain is not afraid to speak her mind.
13:28Sometimes, it even seems like she can't help herself.
13:32I have never seen a corset add weight to somebody.
13:35You better work, bitch.
13:37Number 9.
13:38Derek Berry.
13:39Coming for Bob.
13:40I did get told that my performance was phenomenal,
13:43which you didn't get told.
13:44Alright.
13:45Derek, I think you just missed the point,
13:47but it's not a big deal.
13:47Okay.
13:48Well, I don't know if there was a point.
13:49It's just Bob talking.
13:50Given her inflated ego and slight dose of delusion,
13:54no one could convince the Britney Spears impersonating diva of season 8
13:57that she performed poorly,
13:58which is why she seemed to take it personally
14:00when Bob the Drag Queen reminded her
14:02that her performance in the New Wave Queens challenge was bad.
14:05I don't see that I do that.
14:07I can't wait till you do it again.
14:08It'll be like five minutes.
14:09Derek Berry, however, was in denial about her negative critiques from the judges
14:12and immediately went for the jugular.
14:14It was bad enough that she picked a fight with a fan favorite,
14:17but making disparaging remarks about Bob's drag?
14:20Now that was peak drag race drama.
14:22Hey, Bob, if I want to do ratchet drag next week,
14:26can you give me any tips?
14:28If you want to do, like, memorable drag next week,
14:30I can give you some tips.
14:32So all I need to do is not wear a wig
14:34and I'll be told by the judges that I'm pretty?
14:36It also gave Bob a worthy opponent to step over on her way to the crown.
14:40Number 8.
14:41Serena Chacha.
14:42Mirror Trash Talk.
14:44Okay.
14:46All right.
14:48That was just right next to my ear.
14:51Who says a season only needs one villain?
14:53Season 5 was packed with many catty queens,
14:56but this early out made quite an impression.
14:59Serena Chacha was fresh-faced and overconfident,
15:01believing her youth was the only asset she needed.
15:04I'm sorry, you're only 21 once,
15:06and you only auditioned for this thing once,
15:09being 21 and getting right away once.
15:10And then you think because you're younger,
15:12you think that's an advantage when we've all done drag longer, so.
15:15And she was not afraid to let her competitors know that.
15:18When asked a simple question about her Panamanian heritage,
15:20she quipped that penetration should consider retiring in the country.
15:24I was born and raised in the Republic of Panama.
15:27Where is Panama?
15:28It's in between Colombia and Costa Rica.
15:30It's one of the number one retirement homes for Americans.
15:32You should consider going there.
15:35Not if they're all like you.
15:36Things quickly devolved from there.
15:39Serena's non-stop vitriol put a target on her back.
15:42And soon enough, the attacks were coming from all sides.
15:45Because honestly, I look just as young as you,
15:47but you just keep dragging.
15:48Are you sure about that?
15:50Oh.
15:51Go.
15:52She sure stirred up a lot of drama
15:54for someone who only lasted two episodes.
15:56Number 7.
15:58Alexis Michelle.
15:59The faux fur runway.
16:00I take responsibility
16:02for the visual choices I made on the runway today.
16:05Some fans may call this season RuPaul's best friends race,
16:08but that doesn't mean there weren't villains among the cast.
16:11Alexis Michelle, the Broadway queen,
16:13clearly thought the rusical challenge was hers to lose.
16:16Then the judges lambasted her runway look.
16:19Instead of owning it,
16:20Alexis threw the responsibility on her fellow contestants
16:23for not telling her that she looked bad.
16:25I've helped many of you on other days.
16:28Did nobody think to say to me,
16:30girl, what are you doing with that dress?
16:32Because I think I'm not going to win today
16:34because of this dress.
16:36Given that it's a competition for a lot of money,
16:39expecting your rivals to step in with some fashion advice
16:41seems kind of crazy.
16:43It was the same lack of self-awareness
16:45that would dog her throughout the rest of the competition.
16:47It's kind of not fair to say,
16:49well, you should have said something
16:50when you're wearing a fur coat
16:52and I look like a turkey.
16:54Like, your concept is way different than mine.
16:57Number six, Gia Gunn,
16:59coming for Kelly's credentials.
17:01The look was nothing to gag over.
17:05Glowing hearts on a simple dress
17:07is not giving me drag.
17:09From the moment she walked in,
17:11Gia Gunn oozed confidence.
17:13She also had a very sharp wit.
17:15I'm not too sure about April's look
17:17because it's giving me a little bit of butch.
17:20But, uh, she's cute.
17:23Though she always portrayed herself
17:24as just telling it like it is,
17:26her supposed straightforwardness
17:28often bordered on brutal,
17:29especially when it was aimed at the more seasoned queens.
17:32In the first episode,
17:34Gia made her stance clear
17:35when she questioned Kelly Mantle's talent,
17:37suggesting that even with her long career in the industry,
17:40drag might not be her true calling.
17:42Kelly drag caliber is just not to where I would expect it to be
17:48for an experienced queen.
17:50If it's just not giving it,
17:53maybe it's just not for you.
17:55Once Kelly was eliminated,
17:57Gia found new targets,
17:59including Darian Lake.
18:00Darian, you know,
18:02my God,
18:03there's room for everybody.
18:05Let's just say that.
18:07Throughout her stint on the show,
18:08Gia's presence was a constant shade fest,
18:11no matter how many times she said no tea, no shade.
18:23Move over, Coco and Alyssa.
18:26Right from episode one,
18:27the editors got right to work
18:29setting the stage for season five's biggest rivalry
18:31between Roxy Andrews and Jinx Monsoon.
18:34This began the moment the two queens met in the workroom
18:37for the first time.
18:38It was clear that Roxy was not feeling Jinx.
18:41Her snide remarks about Jinx's look out of drag
18:44were rude enough,
18:45but once Roxy started grilling Jinx about her narcolepsy,
18:48we knew she was going to be a major instigator of drama.
18:51Wait, Miss Heng.
18:52So you fall asleep out of nowhere?
18:53The whole segment gave big mean girl energy.
18:56Little did we know,
18:57this was just a tip of the heavy drama that was to come.
19:00I was asked who I feel should be in the top three,
19:02and I feel like the three of us have given
19:04just a little bit more than you have.
19:05Number four, Valentina, The Reunion.
19:08I don't approve that, and I hope you guys know that.
19:11But you never told them.
19:12I called you.
19:13I FaceTimed you in tears.
19:15This season nine fan favorite
19:16may have won the Miss Congeniality crown,
19:19but her fellow contestants were not exactly
19:21rolling out the red carpet for her.
19:22No, you're the one that's upset.
19:24I'm not upset.
19:25Do I look upset to you?
19:27Yeah, you've raised your voice with me.
19:29Although she painted herself as sweet
19:31and innocent on the show,
19:32Valentina had rubbed many of her castmates
19:35the wrong way by the time they got together
19:36to shoot The Reunion.
19:38Months of resentment and online drama
19:39finally boiled over at the event.
19:41It really hurts my feelings
19:43that you have not spoken to me.
19:44I respect you and love you.
19:47You don't love me.
19:48The toxic behavior of some of Valentina's fans
19:51on social media had reached a fever pitch
19:53after her elimination,
19:54and her failure to intervene on her competitor's behalf
19:58left a bad taste in their mouths.
20:00Is it fan favorite or is it congeniality?
20:02If it's fan favorite,
20:03then I guess she deserves that.
20:05Number three.
20:06Raja O'Hara taking Evie down.
20:08I am shook that Evie has come for me.
20:13She messed with the absolute wrong bitch.
20:15Although she eventually redeemed herself
20:17in later All-Stars seasons,
20:19Raja O'Hara didn't do much to endear herself to fans
20:22during her first run on season 11.
20:24Eventual winner Evie Oddly made no bones
20:26about telling it like it was.
20:28Uh, have you ever seen somebody
20:29finger paint with their feet?
20:32That's Evie's mug.
20:33Focus on that blending boo.
20:35Bitch, I don't know what you're talking about.
20:36When she called out Raja and a few others
20:38for not being truthful,
20:39the Purple Queen was not having it.
20:41She launched into a tirade
20:43about Evie's looks in her confessional
20:44that might have gone a little too far.
20:46Once she opened that Pandora's box,
20:49there was no going back.
20:50Her villain status was pretty much cemented.
20:53I'm not gagging.
20:55I mean, I'm gagging it from, like,
20:58the smell.
20:59It's like, bitch, do you bathe?
21:01Number 2.
21:02Tyra Sanchez, Bridezilla
21:05I'm just in my own world.
21:07Honestly, I wasn't paying attention
21:08to any of the other girls.
21:16Back in the day,
21:17Drag Race was a lot less touchy-feely.
21:20The queens freely spoke their mind
21:22without fear of being hounded online by the fans.
21:24Although queens, like Raven,
21:26had their fair share of nefarious moments.
21:28All of you guys think that I'm, like,
21:30that I'm, like, nothing.
21:32I would never say that.
21:33Her interview,
21:35her look,
21:36her book cover,
21:38her trying to launch and sell her book
21:40to the judges.
21:42I would never say that.
21:44The true villain of the season
21:46was Tyra Sanchez.
21:46Sure, she already exhibited
21:48bratty behavior in the first few weeks,
21:50but it was in the bridal challenge
21:51that she truly showcased
21:53both her talent
21:54and her ruthlessness.
21:55You are this close
21:56to being Bridezilla,
21:57but you are,
21:58you are perfection.
21:59When her season-long tension
22:01with Tatiana boiled over
22:02in the episode,
22:03it announced her
22:04as the resident villain.
22:05Um, I don't think
22:06that you're seeing
22:07that Tyra is a complete bitch.
22:10Yet even after being called out
22:12on the main stage,
22:13she still won the challenge
22:14and ultimately the crown.
22:17Sometimes,
22:17the villain really does
22:19come out on top.
22:20There isn't anything else to say.
22:21But why are you talking?
22:22Why are you talking?
22:28Anyways.
22:30Number one.
22:31Fifi O'Hara.
22:32Go back to Party City.
22:33It was irresponsible
22:34and I thought it was
22:35kind of sloppy just to...
22:36Because I told you
22:37to do something
22:37that you're good at?
22:38Season four finalists,
22:39Sharon Needles
22:40and Fifi O'Hara
22:41tried to hash out
22:42their differences
22:42after a contentious group challenge
22:44in the third episode.
22:45It did not work.
22:47The following week,
22:48their discussion
22:49quickly escalated
22:50into one of the franchise's
22:51most memorable fights.
22:52You obviously won
22:53the goddamn challenge.
22:54Because of me.
22:56Because I told you
22:57to go in your closet
22:58and dig out
22:58that goddamn gothic look.
23:00When the season aired,
23:01Sharon quickly became
23:03a fan favorite
23:03and this moment
23:05only helped boost
23:06her popularity.
23:07Unfortunately for Fifi,
23:08her incredible takedown
23:10made her the antagonist
23:11in Sharon's winner edit.
23:12Oh, I have one look?
23:14Tired-ass showgirl.
23:15F*** you.
23:16At least I am a showgirl,
23:17b***h.
23:17Go back to Party City
23:18where you belong.
23:19While the performer
23:20has since distanced herself
23:22from the franchise,
23:23her cattiness
23:24and mind games
23:24earned her a spot
23:25in the Hall of Fame
23:26of Drag Race villains.
23:28Which Drag Race villain
23:29do you think
23:30is the most iconic?
