00:02Welcome in, everyone. I hope you guys are doing great wherever you are watching from.
00:06Today I'm filming this on May 22nd. All information is up to date as of May 22nd, and we have
00:12more mysterious explosions in Iran, as well as major updates with negotiations, as both
00:17sides attempt to reach some kind of permanent lasting ceasefire pace deal.
00:21So we're going to break it all down. There also could be a major surprise attack coming.
00:25We will also discuss that. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Do you want
00:30to see a peace deal, or do you want to see America push through and win this thing outright?
00:34Let me know in the comments below.
00:36And then right here, Instagram, davidhookstead, xdhookstead. That's where you can find me on
00:42social media. My DMs are wide open. Please reach out with any tips you might have.
00:47Now let's get into it. So I'm going to put this up on the screen right away. We have
00:52blast sounds in Qashum in Iran. Now Qashum is a critically important area in Iran. We
00:57have talked about Qashum at length in previous videos. It has also been the site of repeated,
01:01unexplainable explosions. Now, as of the morning of May 22nd, we have another unexplainable
01:07explosion at Qashum in Iran. Now, as I've said before, and I will say again, prior to the
01:13war starting, you saw all these critical infrastructure sites get blown up by what the Iranian government
01:18was claiming were just gas leaks. They're saying gas leaks, gas leaks, gas leaks, just rocking
01:23and ripping through the country. Now we have essentially once the ceasefire came into effect,
01:28we then saw the repeat or the return to the exact same thing. When the war was raging for several
01:34weeks, you're just dropping bombs. Now that the ceasefire is underway, you now again have these
01:38unexplainable explosions that I've said repeatedly to me in my opinion are black ops, clandestine operations,
01:44covert operations. But we are seeing, there is no question, a return to the unexplainable explosions
01:50that are tearing through Iran. At the same time, this is late yesterday, jet activity over Iraq,
01:56fighter jets in the air, likely the United States either doing some kind of training or anti-drone
02:01operation. Why do I say anti-drone operation? Well, our sites in Herbiel, Iraq, have been targeted
02:08heavily. They have been targeted heavily with drones, not just from Iran, but also from Iranian-backed
02:13militias inside Iraq. So they fire the drones up to your bill. You use fighter jets to shoot them
02:18down. Now this is a very, very, very troubling report. This comes from the Jerusalem Post. It says,
02:24Iran could launch a surprise attack against Gulf states and Israel, say official warnings of a
02:29potential surprise. Iranian attack on Gulf states in Israel come as US President Donald Trump and
02:35Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disagree on how to proceed with Tehran. It says Iran could potentially
02:40be planning a surprise attack involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against Gulf states
02:44in Israel. Intelligence officials warned on Thursday. So this was published May 22nd,
02:50but it's saying the intel came out yesterday on Thursday. The possibility of a preemptive
02:54Iranian attack was raised following a situational assessment with top military leaders and defense
02:59minister, uh, Israel Katz. The warnings come as the US and Iran continue ceasefire negotiations
03:05with US President Trump and prime, uh, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly disagreeing
03:11on how to move forward with Iran. Security officials noted that Tehran might attempt to act before the
03:16US and Israel decide that the diplomat, uh, diplomatic path is no longer viable, and launch a surprise
03:23attack similar to the one at the start of Operation Epic Fury and Operation Rory Line. The Air Force,
03:29an IDF's operations directorate under the direction of Major General, uh, I believe it's pronounced a D.
03:34Zimmerman, uh, and other senior officials conducted a series of discussions with American counterparts
03:39to improve readiness, including the transfer of intelligence on unusual Iranian activity.
03:44So right now they are warning that Iran might decide its only option. Its only card left in the deck
03:48is to launch a surprise attack. Of course, if that happens, we will respond with overwhelming force,
03:54overwhelming strikes, but something definitely to keep an eye on.
03:57Now we have some comments from President Donald Trump we're going to get into. Let's watch.
04:03The vice president mentioned the other day, there would be some accommodations that were willing
04:06to make accommodations with the Iranian deal. Um, could you kind of expand on those possible
04:11accommodations as does that include, when you say a combination of what accommodations,
04:17he's talking about accommodations as far as making a deal, uh, making a deal going. Is that,
04:22I don't know. I can't tell you right now. We're negotiating and we'll see, but either we're going
04:27to get it one way or the other. They're not going to have a nuclear weapon. You know, when people
04:32hear
04:32it, because oftentimes they won't put up the second part of the sentence having to do with, I'll say
04:37this is more important than anything that we have to talk about. And usually they'll cut it off the fake
04:41news.
04:42I said, because this is the nuclearization of a country that some people would say is somewhat crazy
04:47and we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That's all it is. We can't let it. You will have
04:52a nuclear war in the Middle East and that war will come here. That war will go to Europe. We
04:57cannot let
04:57that happen and it won't happen. It's not going to happen. And that's more important than anything else.
05:03We can't, I can think of nothing that's more important than the fact that we cannot let Iran have
05:07a nuclear weapon and we won't. Yeah, Jeff. So right here, we have more comments from President Trump.
05:12These comments about the highly enriched uranium. Let's go ahead and watch.
05:17Can they keep their highly enriched uranium? No, no, we get the highly enriched. We will get it.
05:24We don't need it. We don't want it. We'll probably destroy it after we get it, but we're not going
05:28to
05:28let them have it. So President Trump saying they will not let the Iranians keep the highly enriched uranium.
05:34That has been a sticking point because there was the report yesterday that the Supreme Leader ordered
05:38that the enriched uranium never be given up and never leave Iran. So we will definitely see how
05:44that plays out. And then right here, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman at this stage,
05:48the negotiations are focused on ending the war in all arenas, including in Lebanon. The claims
05:53regarding the nuclear issue, including the issue of enriched material or the issue of enrichment,
05:58are nothing more than media speculation. So again, you are hearing a lot of different narratives.
06:02And then this comes from Fox News. No Iran-US deal reached yet. Gaps narrow
06:08in Trump's nuclear negotiations report says no deal has been reached with the US as of Thursday,
06:13a senior Iranian source told Reuters while also claiming gaps have been narrowed.
06:17Iran has been reviewing the latest peace proposal from President Donald Trump
06:20as he warned that further military action remains on the table. The outlet also reported Iran's uranium
06:26enrichment and Tyron's control over the trade of Horms moves continue to be among the sticking points.
06:31So like I said, a lot of news flowing in about negotiations. Now, this is a bombshell report
06:36from the Washington Post that does back up previous reporting, not just from me, but also
06:41previous reporting from my wife as well, that Israel, essentially the air defense situation in Israel
06:47was largely backed by the United States, says according to the Washington Post, citing a
06:52Department of War assessment that we're given details of, the US used more high-end missile
06:56interceptors defending Israel than Israel used themselves. Per the report citing US officials
07:01speaking on the condition of anonymity, the US used more than 200 terminal high-altitude area defense
07:06that, of course, is THAAD interceptors and 100 SM3s and SM6 interceptors during operations to defend
07:13Israel. In stark contrast to the US expenditures of munitions, Israel fired 90 David Sling interceptors,
07:18and under 100 arrow interceptors in defense of its own territory per one US official. In total,
07:25the US shot around 120 more interceptors and engaged twice as many Iranian missiles. However,
07:30the report does say, citing US official, that such a dynamic where US interceptors
07:36bear the brunt of incoming fire were previously agreed upon when US and Israeli military decision
07:42makers were planning how to employ an extensive joint access, uh, sorry, anti-access aerial denial
07:49framework. So that report indicating that the US without question defended more of Israeli airspace than
07:54the Israelis did themselves per the Washington Post. So as of me filming this on May 22nd,
08:00we now have reports of more unexplained explosions inside Iran, and there could be a sneak attack
08:05on the way, according to Israeli media outlets. We will continue to watch the situation.
