00:57:05man they got it he scored a
00:57:07franchise playoff record 45 points
00:57:09and the Pistons forced a game six
00:57:12with a 116 109 win welcome on in

00:57:18Steve and UD that was a good one
00:57:22the Pistons live to fight another
00:57:24day and this was a battle between
00:57:27those two stars we had 45
00:57:28from Cade we had 45 from Palo and
00:57:31we are going to game six what did
00:57:33you see from those two franchise
00:57:35guys in this one I mean just all
00:57:37time just put the team on your back
00:57:39moments and they needed to not a
00:57:41lot of help from everybody else I
00:57:43mean Tobias had a good game but man
00:57:45just that's so much fun to watch
00:57:47is to two of your stars just going
00:57:50to head to head but obviously a
00:57:52great game for Detroit they needed
00:57:53it a little concerning that you
00:57:56got to get 45 from from your
00:57:58your star at home but you take a
00:58:02win however you get especially in
00:58:03this series it was not pretty but
00:58:05we get a game six yeah yes and
00:58:08especially the way they won the
00:58:09game all the things that they were
00:58:10losing the rebound and the muscle
00:58:12all those things that are in their
00:58:13wheelhouse that they lost the last
00:58:14couple games against Orlando they
00:58:16dominated those areas tonight so in a
00:58:18winning game you still won a game
00:58:20but you dominated the areas you got
00:58:21back to who you are you got back to
00:58:23your identity so going in I know
00:58:24this is struggling to score baskets
00:58:26but those offensive rebounds those
00:58:28steals all those things matter now
00:58:30in possession games and nobody can
00:58:31shoot the damn ball I can shoot the
00:58:33damn ball so all those matter and it
00:58:35was truly just an incredible game
00:58:36you could feel the desperation from
00:58:38the magic to want to end it and the
00:58:40desperation from the Pistons to want
00:58:42to fight another day Steve yeah I mean
00:58:44there was moments when I was like
00:58:45this is a horrible basketball but at
00:58:47least both teams battled and you had
00:58:49the two stars show up and play
00:58:50incredible games you know if you're
00:58:52Orlando you're missing Franz Wagner
00:58:54that's a I mean an incredible player
00:58:55to miss this late in the season they
00:58:57had themselves in this game they go
00:58:5916 of 30 from the line I mean that's
00:59:02got to hurt it's a pretty even game
00:59:03stars go head-to-head you know both
00:59:05teams gave up a bunch of points off
00:59:07turnovers the offensive rebounding was
00:59:09a little upside but so many ways this
00:59:11game was you know right there for the
00:59:14taking from both sides and you miss
00:59:1514 free throws I think that really
00:59:17hurts Orlando because they had an
00:59:18opportunity to close it out on the
00:59:19road yeah I thought the magic really
00:59:22missed France especially on the
00:59:24defensive side you know he's great on
00:59:26Cade he's got length he's smart he's
00:59:29got great basketball IQ so he knows
00:59:30how to play angles then he's good he's
00:59:33obviously tall enough to switch on
00:59:35Duran and play that game and front
00:59:37Duran some and mix it up and and on
00:59:40offense he's a great decision
00:59:41maker he gets to the basket so they I
00:59:43thought they're they really missed
00:59:45him there tonight but honestly the
00:59:47magic can be happy they got a good
00:59:49production from black which you know
00:59:51obviously you knew you needed
00:59:52somebody else stepping up with when
00:59:54Franz is out and so he hadn't had a
00:59:56great series I hadn't had all the
00:59:57opportunities and he was great and
00:59:59they actually kept plugging along
01:00:01kept plugging along and Paolo kept
01:00:03making shots and made this actually
01:00:05more of a game that than you would
01:00:07think so I think overall the magic
01:00:09have to be disappointed with missing so
01:00:11many free throws they they had a chance
01:00:13to actually steal this game yeah I
01:00:15mean and you mentioned the Anthony
01:00:17Black use on the court to close the
01:00:18game had 19 points on four for six
01:00:20shooting but what do you want the magic
01:00:22to take from this one because you're
01:00:24right it felt like at a certain point
01:00:26not to take anything from Detroit they
01:00:28were incredible but they were beginning
01:00:29to beat themselves as well yeah I mean
01:00:31no matter how the games going just
01:00:34keep fighting I mean I think that
01:00:35stretch where they fought back you
01:00:37you know they got down 17 and then they
01:00:39started getting downhill and Paolo
01:00:41especially got downhill not just to
01:00:43score but for kickouts like that that
01:00:45opened up everything for them so he I
01:00:47mean he was obviously great scoring
01:00:49the basketball but it was the the way
01:00:52they play if they put pressure on
01:00:55Detroit's perimeter and get into the
01:00:57interior of the defense get a paint
01:00:58touch kick out I mean those are open
01:01:00shots those are shots they can hit I
01:01:02know they haven't been shooting the
01:01:03ball well but I think that's what they
01:01:05can take away also I mean you're going
01:01:06back home you know you got a chance
01:01:09for for guys to feel a little bit
01:01:11more comfortable at home hopefully
01:01:13shoot the ball a little bit better
01:01:14but yeah too much Cade no empty
01:01:18possessions I think both of these
01:01:19teams have a lot of empty
01:01:20possessions when we watch it and in
01:01:21the playoffs you can't have that in
01:01:23the regular season you can have
01:01:24empty possessions in the playoffs you
01:01:26can't have any possession you got to
01:01:27be intentional about where you're
01:01:28going to get the ball if you're
01:01:29going to set a screen and get a
01:01:30switch you have to attack that
01:01:31switch we can't settle for a
01:01:33pull-up jumper if they're going to
01:01:34roll a big man on the during if he's
01:01:36not going to get in the pocket then
01:01:37he has to get to the boards and get
01:01:38that offense rebound and that's
01:01:39something he did tonight he made
01:01:40that adjustment five offensive
01:01:41rebounds for him tonight I know he
01:01:43didn't score the ball well
01:01:44starting the game but as I look at
01:01:46this kid this kid is 22 years old
01:01:48and and I and I remember in 2011
01:01:51when we lost to you guys dirty and
01:01:52Bron had to go get in the lab he
01:01:54had to go straight to the lab soon
01:01:55as we lost to you guys he had to
01:01:56go get in the lab I understand
01:01:58Jalen during not playing at his
01:01:59potential but he is 22 years old

01:02:02reaching their potential and their
01:02:04their their peak we're talking 27

01:02:08to get to that point so I like the
