00:00One final race.
00:01How's it all feeling?
00:03Mixed emotions.
00:05I'm excited.
00:07Just excited to get out there and race with my pack one more time.
00:11Hopefully the weather's good.
00:12The weather gods have got a nice tailwind for me
00:15and the temperature's not too cold.
00:17That'd be good.
00:18I've been so fortunate to have the opportunity.
00:21Who knew that when I ended up as a paraplegic 36 years ago
00:25that it would have this major silver lining?
00:29And my sport has allowed me to travel the world
00:31and have some of the most amazing relationships that, you know, lifelong friends.
00:36And so many kilometres around Newcastle.
00:40Yeah, I know.
00:42Old habits die hard, so I think probably don't be surprised
00:45if you see me out and about every now and then.
00:48But it would be nice to come up to the beach and just have a jog
00:52and stop and have a coffee in between, which I'm not used to.
00:54All the best.
00:55Yeah, thanks, mate.
