00:00What drew you to Agnes as a character in the Testaments?
00:06I want to say the love that she has for her friends.
00:10I think that that was something that I connected to from the start with her.
00:15And the bond between Agnes and Daisy is central to this story.
00:21How could you describe their dynamic and how it's going to evolve during the series?
00:29Well, I'm not going to tell you how it completely evolved.
00:33But I think that one of the things that makes them so drawn to each other is the fact that
00:37they're so similar, but they refuse to admit how similar they are.
00:42And they can't really explain why they feel so connected to each other.
00:46But I won't tell you the whole progression of their story, but that's what I'll say.
00:52And how far is Agnes willing to go to protect those she loves?
01:00Oh, she's willing to fight until the end for them.
01:04And I think that that's something that I really admired from her, even from the jump.
01:09You can tell how much her friends are her family.
01:12Those are her chosen family.
01:13Those are her people.
01:14And she will do anything to protect them.
01:16What have you learned from your character?
01:22Oh, so much.
01:23I think that I'm really inspired by her voice in a world where she has none.
01:30And I think that that's something that I took away after we were done filming.
01:33And I am constantly reminded of and constantly inspired by is the strength in her own voice, especially how young
01:40she is, too.
01:42How did you approach portraying Agnes' internal conflict between faith and doubt?
01:54I drew parallels to internal conflict that I have in my real life.
02:00And something that I think a lot of people can connect to, too, is the conflict of being raised with
02:08a belief in something and in a system.
02:10But then the reality is that that belief in that system is not actually true or is not fighting for
02:16you in a way.
02:17And I think that that was something that I connected it to very early on.
02:22So, yeah.
02:24And how is working on set with everyone?
02:29It was fantastic.
02:30And I feel very fortunate to have been working with a group of girls who were around my age.
02:37And we just kept the environment and our entire experience to be as light as possible.
02:46And we had fun on set.
02:48And I feel very fortunate to have made friends with all of them.
02:51And we became very fast friends.
02:53And I think that just the dynamic that we had on set was just of teenage girls.
03:00And that I feel very fortunate to have had.
03:03For the people who haven't seen yet the show, what can the audience expect?
03:13I think there's a lot.
03:14I think that the show does a wonderful job of highlighting friendships, highlighting strength, inner strength, both within your own
03:25voice, but also within society as well.
03:28And so I think that there's so much in the show for everybody.
03:33And I hope that people watch it and I hope that people enjoy it.
03:37I hope.
