00:33so we know now that remember the case in which the young doctor who was assaulted and then eventually
00:40was murdered in that an SIT is being found let me just go across to Indrajeet Kundu our editor in
00:47Kolkata Indrajeet just help me understand how is this different from our previous whether committees
00:53or investigation that has been done in the case
00:58Well Pooja this is a very very important development remember it was a CBI which was probing this entire case
01:05and the case was shut because the decision was made by the lower court and a you know verdict was
01:14given
01:14in which life in prison was given to Sanjay Rai who was the main accused but the parents of the
01:21victim
01:21had once it has once again approached the Calcutta High Court because they are not satisfied with the decision
01:27and the probe that was conducted by the CBI they are saying that there should be a reinvestigation
01:33into the allegations of evidence tampering they have leveled you know allegations of evidence tampering
01:39the High Court seemed to have accepted their demand and therefore there will be a fresh probe into these allegations
01:46of evidence tampering
01:48the High Court has now ordered the CBI to form a three-member team which will be headed by a
01:54joint director and the High Court has also directed the CBI to specifically
01:59examine the sequence of events from the victim's dinner leading to that fateful night when that incident took place till
02:07the time of her cremation
02:10remember there is another separate petition before the Cialda Court in Kolkata by the victim's parents where they have sought
02:17action against Nirmal Ghosh the former MLA of Trinamul Congress
02:20who was actually at the helm of affairs on that very fateful night leading to the cremation of the body
02:28and the allegation was that the cremation was done hurriedly so that evidence could be tampered with
02:35all these have been placed before the Calcutta High Court and the Calcutta High Court has asked the CBI to
02:41re-examine the sequence of events as well as the charge that evidence could have been tampered
