00:00with nano banana 2 i can take this image which has japanese text on it and ask it to simply
00:05translate that text and it will effectively translate to english and even match the style
00:09of the original image and this works across a number of languages but i'm also going to show
00:14you other ways that you can use nano banana 2 to really get the most out of this powerful new
00:18image
00:18model and again with a similar prompt formula you can actually change what text says within an image
00:23and keep the textile pretty much the same and i will also list the prompts i've used here below
00:29in the description along with a downloadable pdf you can use for reference but the prompt itself
00:34all i need to do is mention that i want the layout to be identical i need to describe which
00:38words are
00:39already in the image and what words i want to change them to and then i mentioned to keep the
00:43font and textile the same so that way what we get matches our original video you can even take a
00:48photo like this drag it into nano banana 2 and ask to extract straighten and crop to that image and
00:56get
00:57a pretty good result and you can use this to extract objects or anything out of images and it will
01:01use
01:01ai to create that object as close as it can to the original source photo but you can also increase
01:07the
01:07resolution of very small images so i take a photo like the one of this woman's face and you can
01:13use
01:13nano banana 2 to upscale them and really enhance the detail you can see side by side there's a massive
01:19difference however you do need an all-in-one platform to access the 4k resolution and i've been using
01:24open art to create the images in this video and i'll show you how that works within open art as
01:28they've sponsored this video there's a link in the description below in order to do this in open art
01:32we simply come down to the image tab here go to create image and once you're in you'll notice the
01:37model says here nano banana 2 it may say something else simply click on it come down and choose nano
01:42banana 2 from the menu here on the right but otherwise we want to drag any images in that we
01:48want to use
01:49so if i grab this image and pop it in there it will appear here now you don't always have
01:54to
01:54mention the image but it is probably good practice to be able to type in something like
01:57can you please upscale and enhance and then type in at image one because we can actually reference
02:03the images that we upload in this interface and i can say up to 4k and one of the reasons
02:08why it's
02:09good to use an all-in-one platform like open art is if i come down here to the output
02:13this image i
02:15believe is four to three but i can actually go up to 4k resolution so i can really max out
02:19the
02:19resolution when it comes to using this platform and on top of that i can choose to have up to
02:24four
02:24images so if i want to sort of try two three or four images i can submit four all at
02:29once so when
02:30i'm ready i just hit generate now after a minute or two we'll have four different upscaled images over
02:37here on the right so we can pick the best one and so we were able to go from this
02:40tiny image which
02:41was only 480 by 368 pixels up to 4800 by 3500 pixels as you go through the different variations
02:49you notice you get a few different results including one with an eye open but essentially
02:53most of them are pretty spot on and you can choose which one you think handle the detail the best
02:58which
02:58i think this one wins in this instance and you can accomplish the same things with comic books and
03:04other mediums you can see how this one here adds in the half tones pretty nicely but also gave me
03:08an
03:08option without the half tones another reason why producing more than one is a great idea it's also
03:13a powerful option for upscaling some ai art like this image i made from midjourney you see how much
03:18sharper that image is same with this one it does a great job however the original detail is a little
03:23bit poor and hasn't been improved in the image but we can improve on that using nano banana using this
03:28car image as an example you see i have that same prompt from earlier but i'm going to add to
03:33the end
03:33neaten up and improve some of the finer details in this image so the image looks better up close
03:37and look like real objects so asking it to really take that background and improve the detail works
03:43pretty well and although it isn't perfect if you check out some of the details especially from top
03:48which is the previous upscale to bottom you'll notice that the clock is neater there's some more
03:52words there's also like a pinup girl off to the right it really has done a great job of improving
03:57the background not perfecting it but it's definitely a step forward in regards to quality now you can also
04:02find an image of a person that has a particular expression on their face drag it into nano banana and
04:07ask it to change the facial expression or emotion to something else such as going from sad to happy
04:12simply describing it in plain english and it gives us a pretty good result and of course you can then
04:18take those two images and use nano banana to dynamically create the start and end frame for a video pop
04:24it
04:24in the open arts frame to video section you can use cling 3 or c dance 2 or any of
04:29the other models there
04:30and produce a video that goes from the first frame to the end frame that you created using nano banana
04:36and that's something you can use for any of the images you edit using nano banana too this extends
04:41itself to simply adding an image and asking to zoom in at say 50 or 100 percentages i find work
04:48pretty well
04:48or even zoom out 50 or 100 but to take it a step further i can also drag in one
04:54of the frames i've used
04:55to zoom or pretty much any image we don't have to actually do it in conjunction with zooming in or
04:59out
05:00and i can ask to change the pose something like change the pose of the samurai to a squatting battle
05:04ready pose with his sword held up straight and i hit generate again just using plain english and that
05:11shows how nano banana can change what a object or person is doing within an image also and then of
05:17course i bring those in as start and end frames in my video and i can still actually use that
05:21to create
05:22some dynamic zooming and movement within my ai video but if you want to change the aspect ratio
05:27of an image like this square one here drag it into nano banana make sure you come down choose that
05:33aspect
05:33ratio from the output section and then describe that you want to extend the image to the 16 to 9
05:39aspect
05:39ratio as you can see here with this image which was expanded to 16 to 9 but you can also
05:44change extend
05:45to crop if you would like to crop in to 16 to 9 instead and then convert that into an
05:50ai video
05:51also with that new aspect ratio now as i've mentioned any images you create with nano banana 2
05:56or anything we cover in this video can generally be used for ai video purposes but don't forget we
06:01also have that resource below if you want to get a copy of all the prompts and techniques i mentioned
06:06in this video but the next thing i want to cover is restyling images what i need to do is
06:10simply come up
06:10to drag my image in here and it could be a photo or something from your computer and one of
06:15the first
06:16ways i can do that is simply by coming down and stating what style i want to convert the image
06:21to
06:21so i say please convert at image one into and then i mention my style something like an anime style
06:27image manga inspired so again i'm going to go up to say three so i have three different options i
06:33hit
06:33generate and you can then basically convert to almost any style that you have a solid description for
06:39or a name for and it'll get a pretty good result now you can go a little bit more in
06:44depth with your
06:44descriptions including things like color but style transfer by prompt is a great way to take a
06:50little bit more control over the final result but if you're not quite getting the result you're after
06:54you don't have to rely solely on prompting to get the style that you want but if you don't have
06:59a term
06:59to describe the style you're after or you have an image you'd rather use what you can do is keep
07:04image
07:04one here but let's say i want to stick with this comic style you can use an image from your
07:08computer
07:08again but i drag this one in also and you notice it says image two so what i can say
07:12is please convert
07:13image one into a style that matches image two and just to be safe i'll say comma keep the subject
07:19and layer identical to image one that way we nail down the layout we are converting this image into
07:25the style that matches image two which is this comic book image so now i generate and then we get
07:31some results that match the style a little more closely and each one is a little bit different i ran
07:36it again to get three more and i actually got this image here of the comic book man inside the
07:41woman's head as well so sometimes you do get some funny results but i recommend retrying until you
07:46get something that you like or even adjusting your prompt to try and pull out some more of those
07:49colors and you can try this also with text and logos as you see here i've used the same prompts
07:54that we used previously to get some pretty interesting effects with my logo and then also
07:58the bitmap style transfer at the end which i think turned out pretty well also so you can really
08:03experiment with different image types with this process you can also improve your photography by
08:09dragging in an image you want to edit and in plain english just simply ask what you would like
08:13nano banana to do such as smoothing out the skin on this woman's face and you'll find it handles
08:19these little photography jobs really quite well because we have that added resolution things look
08:23pretty sharp upon inspection and if you check out the various areas you know to smooth things out
08:28but it's kept that organic texture and detail in the image but you can also enhance the contrast of
08:35certain images if you need them to look a bit more sort of dramatic on top of that if you
08:39need to
08:39change things such as eye color or hair you can also ask for that also it really allows you to
08:45do
08:45quite simple photography changes really quickly and easily but don't forget you can also take the
08:51images it generates and apply more changes on top of it if it's still not quite landing where you want
08:56it to such as taking that high contrast image and smoothing out the skin on that since it really brought
09:01out a lot of those imperfections now check out the prompts on screen here if you want to know how
09:05to
09:05achieve the following with your images there are so many different things you can do an image just
09:10like this to improve it for photography for one we can enhance the contrast which is something that
09:16we've already covered or we can actually change the color grading to something like a much cooler tone
09:21like this image here or opt for a much warmer tone and add that higher higher contrast on top of
09:27it
09:27or add a cinematic teal and orange color grading if we prefer that but overall the final image just
09:34looks really fantastic all with a simple text prompt anything you can think of can basically be applied
09:39to your photos you can change the lighting to say a golden hour style or even change it to the
09:43style of
09:43like a 35 millimeter camera and as i said before if we're using 4k it still retains a lot of
09:50the quality
09:50when you zoom up close but this is also a fun way to play with the exposure so i set
09:55the exposure to
09:56say an iso of 100 or i could bring it up to say an iso of 800 to get an
10:00image like this or even
10:02crank it all the way up to 1600 i can start to control the exposure of the photograph or i
10:07can
10:07just simply say make the photo overexposed to get an overexposed look or even underexposed to get a much
10:12lighter look all valid options for changing your photography but more impressive is the fact that we
10:18can change angles like this side profile shot of the girl or we can change to show the back of
10:24the girl
10:24we can rotate our subject pretty easily such as showing us her facing directly but we want to make
10:30sure we say we keep the pose of the girl identical so everything remains the same we can change to
10:35a
10:35high angle looking down on the girl or even a low angle close up if we want to change that
10:40also all
10:41these options that you can think of can be applied pretty easily just make sure you state keep the
10:46pose of the girl identical even though i've added a typo in this particular version and just as you would
10:51in your camera you can change the focus of the image you can also just make the lighting much
10:56softer or if it's too soft and you want to go the other direction make the lighting much sharper to
11:01get sharper shadows and light of course you can change the lighting to a dark scene and have a
11:06rim light applied to your subject or change it to a night scene have light coming from a low angle
11:11beneath her or get a little bit fancy and have dual lighting red on the left blue on the right
11:16swap
11:17it out for whatever colors you feel would work but you can even change things like the weather of the
11:21photo to a dark and stormy night even change it over to heavy rain and gray skies or even add
11:26flood water pretty much anything you can think of can be done to your photography using nano banana 2
11:31what you can also do is change the date a photo was taken and nano banana will do a pretty
11:36good job
11:37of making the photo and the elements around it look pretty accurate so again we simply drag our image in
11:44to nano banana add in our prompt something like update this photo so it looks like it was taken in
11:512026 and you'll see it takes this old faded looking image and it changes it to look like 2026
11:57you notice that the twin trade towers have changed to the single trade tower and this other image
12:03you produced has also improved the color so it's always a good idea to add a couple of these in
12:07to
12:07see which result is best but if i remove that original image and swap it out for some people in
12:15their lounge room add in that i want its decor to also look like it's been shot in 2026 i
12:21can submit
12:22that as well as a few other decades to see what i get and we have the original photo here
12:26which looks
12:26like it was taken in maybe the 80s or late 70s add it in 2026 everything in a shot is
12:31modernized and
12:32they've even aged the couple head back to 2010 and the tv and some of the furniture does get a
12:37little bit
12:37older and they de-age slightly from the last one as we keep going back you'll notice that the tv
12:41and the furniture just keeps on going back to what was standard in that time especially in 1990 i think
12:48we all saw those black tvs you go back to the 80s we've got that brown look and the old
12:52-fashioned tv
12:52with the wooden cabinet even taking a modern house like this and asking it to change to something like
12:581975 and it still manages to give it that 1975 look what i really love is this car photo the
13:04guy sitting
13:05in front of his bmw it changes the model of bmw to something a little bit more 1975-esque
13:10but finally you take a very modern sleek interior like this one and ask it to go back to 1975
13:16as well
13:17and again it's really nailed the look from that decade another thing we can do with a very simple
13:22prompt is to take a very noisy image like this one and just simply ask to de-noise this photo
13:27and it will do a fantastic job of making it look a lot better again another image like this we
13:32can
13:32ask to simply sharpen this photo so it's not blurry and it just really really nails the look
13:37especially when you zoom in and while we're still talking about photography let's step it up a little
13:42bit because we can make product photography such as grabbing this photo of the clock we extracted
13:47earlier dragging it in to nanobanana and then simply typing a prompt like make some modern product
13:53photography for this clock in a very modern setting for a luxury class target audience and by
13:58mentioning that it's product photography of the clock as well as the setting being modern and also
14:02our target audience it produces something with that clock that you can use very effectively for
14:08product photography switch it up to say a teen target audience and the background changes we get
14:13more color posters a skateboard or even a toddler target audience we get sort of like toys and something
14:18very playful you can even change it to a millennial target audience and you can see how the books and
14:24some of the surroundings in the background match a more sort of current millennial style but there's
14:29nothing stopping you from adding in an image as a style reference much like we covered earlier with
14:33the style transfer and you just need to update your prompt to reflect image one and image two
14:39so i have make some modern product photography of this clock from image one to match the style and
14:44vibe of image two and then it will reference that image and apply that style to the product
14:50photography of your clock and on top of that you can take that generation you've just made
14:54and then add a little bit more ask it to keep the vibe and the look the same but ask
14:59it to add some
15:00text by moving the clock over to the left and describing what text you wanted to add and even how
15:04the text should appear it'll actually do a pretty good job of generating an image that suits what
15:09you described there also whilst maintaining the look of the product photography you originally created
15:15and from that last tip you probably figured out that you can drop an image in
15:18and ask to change the background of something completely different and it's as simple as saying
15:23change the background of this image into a cyberpunk street or whatever it is you want to change it to
15:27such as a misty mountaintop in china or you can go something completely different and ask something
15:33like the moon with the earth in the background but if you don't like this image maybe you'd rather use
15:37this image which you can find online and then simply drag it into your prompt and change the background of
15:43image one so the fighters are in image two hit generate and we'll pop that image into the
15:49background so you have a little bit more control you can essentially combine images by supplying
15:54not just the foreground but the background as well but i can also take an image like this which isn't
15:59very high resolution and use it as a reference for the background not to duplicate but to say that i
16:04want
16:04to put them in to that background and get a little bit more descriptive so you can see i have
16:09image one
16:09and the temple is image two and i change the background of image one so the fighters are in image
16:13two but then i add that the fighters are on the balcony of the temple in image two but also
16:19zoom in
16:21so that the layout of the image matches image one and you'll notice that our fighters are in the same
16:26position as the original photo but the balcony also if i bring in the image that we used does seem
16:34to match the look of the temple form as far as we can see you can see that it has
16:38a similar
16:38background has a similar build type so we're able to kind of use these images for reference of a
16:42scene as opposed to just a complete copy nano bonato is also a powerful tool for consistent
16:48character use and creation you can either bring in an existing image or create your own character
16:53that's also quite easy to actually describe and create your own character and this is a bit of a
16:59process i recommend following if you're not going to use a consistent character tool but i simply click
17:03type up a description on my character i have here a full body shot of because i do want it
17:09to be a
17:09full body shot i say a shaolin monk bald with crimson red robes and red glowing eyes large muscular build
17:15so anything that you want to see in your character describe it in there go as detailed as you want
17:19i've
17:19kept this pretty simple for the sake of the video now the aspect ratio i've chosen is a taller one
17:25to
17:25accommodate the full body shot maybe even two to three would be better i even go 4k just to get
17:30a lot more
17:31detail but i start by generating that first image and from that what i get is this which i think
17:38makes
17:38for a pretty cool and interesting character so what i'm going to do then is actually create a few
17:43different reference images so i'm going to close and what i can do then is simply drag this image in
17:49and change this prompt to ask for a few different angles for example please zoom into a head and shoulder
17:54shot of the monk in this image and again i want to adjust my aspect ratio accordingly so i'm going
17:59to go
18:00with one to one for this one i'll go back to 2k hit generate and so after generating this original
18:06character image we've changed the angle we've been able to produce this head and shoulder shot
18:11that we can use for other images depending if we want to zoom in on the face anything where we
18:17want
18:17to zoom in and get up close maybe some emotion we're going to want to use one of these shots
18:21to get
18:21the proper face detail and consistency across all images but if i want to get really complete i want to
18:27add in some other angles so i created a back shot and a side profile shot so depending on what
18:33type
18:33of images i need to create i will choose one or more of these images so i get a proper
18:39full reference
18:40of my character for better consistency and so for now to use my character all i need to do is
18:44drag in
18:45the shot i think best suits for what i'm trying to create i then make sure i reference it and
18:50write up a
18:51prompt for a scene to include that character in as well as what i want him to be doing and
18:57that gives
18:57me this image of the man looking quite angry but if i wanted to then move on and create something
19:02else
19:02in that scene what i would do is clear the area that i type my prompt into i drag that
19:07new image in
19:08to use as a reference for the background but then drag in the back shot of my character because what
19:15i'm
19:15going to describe is him running away so what we can say is have the monk in image two so
19:20we get that
19:20back view so we get a consistent sort of rear view of the character we say running away from us
19:25far
19:26down the aisle between the cubicles and image one use the same office background as image one so we
19:30want to make sure we get the same background as image one but we don't want that monk in there
19:35we
19:35want to focus more on the rear of the monk and we get a much more consistent result if we
19:39can show
19:40the monk from behind so again i generate and i get this shot of him running away so now if
19:45i use that
19:46as an end frame and the other shows the start frame i can produce this video
19:56also don't forget in open art you can come down to the character section hit create character
20:04and you can then start from an image click on history
20:10and then start to add in a few different images from different angles so we can choose the side
20:15the back and the close-up and you've then got four images to then start to build a character from
20:22and once you've finished under browse library you'll notice you have your monk here and you can start to
20:26use it in your images but my next tip is about changing people and you can apply this to your
20:32character creation such as changing the robe to a charcoal gray with a gold lining or if you don't like
20:36the robe at all you can change him to be dressed like a police officer you can take various angles
20:42various images and change various parts of your character while creating it or simply two photos
20:47that you've downloaded such as giving this man a blonde buzz cut or other haircut styles such as
20:53giving him a green mohawk it really is up to your imagination it's as simple as saying just simply give
20:58this man long lush hair and then you don't have to stop just a hair you can say something like
21:02add a long beard to this man's face and continue to go down that rabbit hole that way i've got
21:08here
21:08to make this man's nose thinner and give him thicker eyebrows so you can change facial features but on
21:13top of that you can also add in accessories like this wizard hat pretty much anything you just simply
21:17ask to add something or change something in the character with plain english and it does a pretty
21:23good job but we can go beyond a simple character consistency and move on to full world building
21:28having a consistent background to go with our characters enables us to create better stories
21:34and short films while using ai and so i created this simple image from nano banana 2 and what i'm
21:41going to do is i'm going to drag that image in to nano banana again because what i want to
21:46do is produce
21:47a few different angles similar to what we did with our character and if you look at the prompt on
21:51screen
21:52now you see what i've used to create this image i then took that and the first image to create
21:56this
21:56image i like to work by mentioning how many degrees i want to turn the camera by it's not perfect
22:01but
22:02it does a pretty decent job and just to be 100 certain i also grabbed a top view so it's
22:07pretty
22:07easy to grab a few of those different angles to use in your images but now we can actually combine
22:12those worlds with our character by dragging in a shot of the scene itself dragging in our character
22:19and saying something like have the monk in image two running toward the markets in image one and
22:24now we have references for both the environment and the character we can start to build some scenes
22:29by using those images as references and we can put these all together and again we start to create
22:35shots that we can build to go towards a short film using ai video it's really really powerful to be
22:41able
22:41to create dynamic frames to use as either start frames or both start and end frames combined with some
22:47nice video prompting you can get a nice kind of a short video sequence like this one that we created
22:53right here one thing i also want to mention is if i come down here to the worlds feature
23:00is i can create a 3d world in our open art i can simply upload an image or go to
23:05my image history
23:08pick the image that i like i can even add in several other angles as well but even just leaving
23:14it as it is if i create this world we can actually explore the 3d space and generate images with
23:20that
23:20character in it but by using this we can essentially move forward we can move up or down or kind
23:25of left
23:25or right to position the frame and add our character in there and i'll add a link to a video
23:30showing you
23:31how this feature works so you can check it out after you've watched this video now nanobanana 2 also
23:35handles quite large amounts of text so if i highlight and copy these lyrics from the song
23:40right into by tool i can then go over to nanobanana type in a prompt create an image that lists
23:46the
23:46following lyrics i'm going to go quotation mark paste another quotation mark at the end
23:54and then i'm also going to split them up so i have the format of the text here and that
23:59is a lot of
24:00text for it to actually uh render but then i keep adding to it i say at the top add
24:05the title right in
24:06two and a line underneath saying by tool now i can render it just like this hit generate and
24:13it'll actually use the lyrics that we copied and pasted all that text and put it into this nice image
24:18but i can also add down there something like add some imagery and design style that matches the
24:23content of the lyrics and get a little bit more visual with the image it generates including those
24:28lyrics but this goes far beyond basic text you can also ask for full infographics with simple prompts
24:35and we'll actually go and look up the information and build the data for the infographic as well
24:40you see from all these images here these were all with basic prompts it does help to actually mention
24:45what style you want them to look so they don't look quite as generic and of course this extends out
24:50to things like recipes you can actually use it to source and create recipes although i don't know how
24:54well they work if you follow them but it does create fairly accurate maps so you don't even have
24:59to worry about adding in the details it will simply search those up and add them in for you
25:03and whenever i've double checked it always seems to be pretty much spot on but you can also simply
25:08create more fun sort of like uh vo game style maps as well it's just got a lot of flexibility
25:14with
25:14the intelligence and the text one of the best use cases i find for nato banana 2 when it comes
25:19to
25:19photography is actually repairing old photos that are highly damaged it does a great job of keeping
25:24things pretty consistent so if i drag my image in i can simply type in repair and restore this photo
25:32i make sure i get an aspect ratio very similar to what i'm the image i'm providing i want to
25:38get
25:38the most resolution out of it so i bring it up to 4k i hit generate and now coming back
25:43to our original
25:44damaged photo just that simple prompt we're able to clean it up rather dramatically and you can see
25:49it's just simple repair and restore this photo and i've used this exact same prompt on several different
25:56images to get some pretty good results so i'm going to show you a few more including this really old
26:01vintage photo you can see here it's all faded around the edges it's done a great job of cleaning
26:06that up even this polaroid which is kind of like all crinkled and melted it's done a great job of
26:11getting a good image out of that and even this old 70s sort of like wedding photo it has actually
26:17cleaned up and restored the color so you can see just how powerful this one phrase really is but you
26:22can
26:22still take one of the images you cleaned up drag it in and ask for something simple like recolor this
26:28photo if you need to recolor it now as you can see it's done a great job of getting some
26:32natural
26:32organic looking color with that simple prompt but you don't have to do it over two generations you can
26:37drop an image in and ask for all those things straight away with repair restore and recolor this
26:43photo and in one hit we take this very damaged old photo and we restore and recolor it all at
26:49once
26:49and it looks fantastic we can also add and remove things pretty well for example i have added german
26:55shepherd on the left side of this image next to the crowd and it adds in a german shepherd pretty
26:59effectively but if i want to remove something i can say remove the woman in the foreground who's
27:03taking the photo and now there's no one in front taking that photo i add puffy jackets on everyone
27:08remove the bricks off to the right add a garden to the left and you can see there's puffy jackets
27:12we've
27:13got the garden to the left and the bricks to the right are completely gone and of course
27:18nano banana is useful in a number of industries if you take a plan like this one here of this
27:22house
27:22you can actually drag that into nano banana then simply ask it to take this house plan and create
27:29a realistic render of it as a house photographed from the front and what you get isn't exactly
27:35precise but it is very close and as you can see if we look at the plan it does show
27:40two balconies at the
27:41front and the way that the house is shaped does generally get followed and this can be a great way
27:46to get
27:47things started if you're looking to get an idea of how a house would look and then you can take
27:51that render and start to play and change the facade with any details you want to see and this can
27:56be
27:56a great way to work on during the planning phase before you pay for an accurate artist made render of
28:03your house now i can also use annotations to help get more precise so what i can do is take
28:09an image
28:09like this one that we rented earlier and i'm going to just download it and you can take that image
28:14upload it to something like canva or you can use an app on your phone anything you can find to
28:18edit it
28:18i'm just simply going to right click and open in photos because once i have it open i can come
28:25up
28:25the top left here to edit and i can mark up here hit the markup button i can select this
28:32area here
28:33i can even change the color if i want to maybe to say something like yellow and i just highlight
28:39this in
28:40yellow and if i want to in my prompt i can describe what i want to go there but on
28:44top of that what i
28:45can also do is change this to a different color just to differentiate such as red
28:51and i can circle say these two cars and i'm going to just point with arrows
28:59i can even just type in here remove remove
29:05and i can even just without even writing that i'll let you something like say the lime green
29:10and circle this area here so i've got like a lime green a yellow two red circles and the words
29:17remove
29:17here if i save that as a copy i can drag that new image in you can see we have
29:25the green circle the
29:26yellow circle i can say in the area circled in yellow change the text to say pepsi in the area
29:32circled
29:32in lime green remove the people follow instructions on the image for any other areas circled in any color
29:38because i wrote remove onto the image itself and i found that works reasonably well but this is still
29:43probably the best way to do it is to simply describe what you want to see but this means
29:47you can be very exact with the areas you want to edit and you can see it's done exactly what
29:53we've
29:53asked for if you look at the remove area on the top left with the flying car and the same
29:58on the top
29:59right it's actually been removed on the new image the yellow circle has had the words changed to pepsi
30:06and the people have been removed from the green lime circle and you can also create social media
30:12graphics quite easily with nano banana too you can see here that instagram now has a new three to four
30:18image ratio as of last year in 2025 shout out to hope digital for this little graphic and if you're
30:25not
30:25sure just search google for the best aspect ratio for whatever platform you're posting to and then
30:31simply come down and change to that aspect ratio here and then you can just simply type a prompt for
30:37what you want to see to generate your image like this here where i've said create a social media graphic
30:40of a motivational quote for a business instagram page by a famous entrepreneur use uplifting
30:46photographic imagery to motivate people and that's one of the cool things is it'll actually go and source
30:52a quote for your graphics so you can create say four of these hit generate and the results you get
30:58will have actual quotes by actual people in them which i think is quite impressive considering i didn't
31:02describe that at all in the prompt but you can describe whatever it is you want to include in these
31:08images so you're pretty much ready to do whatever you want as long as you get that aspect ratio correct
31:13for the platform that you're going to post to now this is perfect also for youtube thumbnails you can ask
31:19for a
31:19youtube thumbnail image of and describe what you want to see make sure you click on that 4k if you
31:25want to actually get those 4k thumbnails which is something that youtube is pushing lately but on top
31:29of that you can also drag in a picture of yourself and add yourself into the thumbnail and that could
31:34be really really handy whether you're going to do the whole thumbnail in nano banana 2 or something
31:39that you're going to use later and bring in a photoshop to edit but don't forget you can also
31:43describe what text you want to see on the thumbnail so you can basically generate the entire thumbnail
31:48right within nano banana 2. the next thing i can do is take branding similar to what i see here
31:54it has my logo and a photo there and i can use that as a reference and any other elements
31:59i want to
31:59include on this image i can put in there manually head back and you can see here i've got my
32:05social media
32:06posts i created earlier what i can do is now drag in that image for my branding and at the
32:13end i can just add
32:15design it to match the branding color font and overall look of the attached image so by attaching
32:21your logo and any sort of like branding elements you can actually use this to try and guide nano banana
32:26to creating something that actually matches your brand a little bit more closely so that way if you
32:31want to keep things consistent while you're creating things for marketing this can be a really handy tool
32:39but speaking of branding with some simple prompts like what you see here you can actually design
32:43some logos for this one here i use for creativity or creativity ai and by mentioning that i want
32:49a minimalist vector art logo for a business i use the name the colors and i mentioned anything else i'd
32:55like to see in that logo and i've got a different one here for one called big accounts it's quite
32:59easy
33:00to use these for ideas for logo generation i don't know if i would use them straight up as a
33:05logo unless
33:05you've got something really good but this can definitely be a great idea for ideation and if you just need
33:10something quick you can get eye out you can get ai to create it for you but take it a
33:16step further
33:16and drag one of those logos in and you can start to prompt for mock-ups simply mention you want
33:21to
33:21create a mock-up mention what you want it to be so in this case a man wearing a white
33:25shirt with the logo
33:27from the attached image which you dragged in you can also switch it up to something like a woman
33:31wearing a white t-shirt and of course i like getting a few different uh images this one is a
33:36nice
33:36outdoor feel to it but you can also switch to something else like say a coffee cup so this can
33:41be another great idea for ideation getting ideas for your brand so you can really put it out there
33:46but what i really like is you can add a little bit more depth to it i have here with
33:51an image
33:51stitched onto the front and change the black lettering to white we get a nice stitched effect
33:55and it also changed that lettering pretty successfully but you can also drag in the item you want your logo
34:00to
34:01be on and prompt for that also and so i have this image here of a guy wearing a black
34:05hoodie and i
34:06used it as image two so i said please place the logo from image one onto the right chest area
34:11of
34:11the hoodie of image two make the hoodie white keep the image identical to image two so we changed the
34:16color of hoodie added the logo but we can also change the color of the logo and keep the hoodie
34:21black
34:21so by checking out those prompts and just adjusting you can quite successfully create mock-ups
34:25on real life items and this also extends itself to like vehicle or van signage so it has placed a
34:33logo on here it's not the most creative design but it is something you can try out now one variation
34:38also flip the van around so that can be pretty handy as well and you can also reiterate from there
34:43but
34:43then it also produced this one a little bit more creative so it can again be good for ideation of
34:48design
34:49now we've mentioned logos but you can also create vector style graphics that you can then convert
34:55elsewhere to actual vector art you can say something simple like create a clean minimalist vector art
35:01graphic of and then whatever it is that you want to see or in this case a cat wearing sunglasses
35:06you
35:06can add a bit of style to that as well so drawing styles should be inspired by graffiti and this
35:11is a
35:12much neater version we've got a much more graffiti-ish sort of version with this one you see just how
35:16far
35:17a simple prompt can go now with this one we have inspired by anime a little bit slightly more of
35:21an
35:21anime style or this frank miller style so like a really old comic book style and you get this rough
35:26but still quite vectorizable looking graphic but we don't have to stick with just prompting much like
35:32before we can drag an image in and convert that into a vector style image
35:39and it does a pretty good job of tidying up that image and making a vector graphic out of it
35:43but when
35:44you're ready you can also head over to vectorizer.ai drag your image in and it will convert it into
35:49a
35:49vector you can download and use and will be infinitely scalable because it is an actual authentic vector
35:55art graphic but for a lot of fun you can age a person to look elderly like this model on
36:02the left
36:02i can also simply choose how old i want her to be like 20 30 or even 40 years old
36:08if you watch she goes
36:09up to say 50 and then 60 70 80 90 she gets older and older you can also jump up
36:21to 120 and age her
36:22pretty dramatically or even 150 where she starts to go blind or 250 where she's completely overcooked
36:29now this could be a lot of fun to play with with photos of yourself or your friends
36:32so i tried it with myself to look elderly and i thought it was a bit funny but then i
36:37decided to
36:37go back to 20 and i look like a little kid crazy spiky hair then we got 30 where i
36:41look about the
36:41same 40 where i look a little bit older which is funny because i'm in my 40s now and i
36:45don't look
36:45like that but i've jumped up to 60 and then gone a bit more dramatic to 80 and you can
36:50see a big
36:51difference there 120 and even further on was to a thousand or even 10 000 years old this was a
36:57lot
36:57of fun to play with but also works in reverse taking this gray-haired guy down to 20 or even
37:03down to 40
37:04where he starts to look a little bit more like himself or even 50 where he's not far off that
37:08original photo now it doesn't have to be one person at a time but i take this couple here that
37:13i wanted
37:13to make younger as well you can see if we bring up on the left over here 20 they look
37:19quite different
37:19we go back up to 30 and they start to sort of slowly turn into themselves 50 again a little
37:26bit
37:26closer and then of course we climb back up to 60 much closer again so again that could be a
37:32lot of fun
37:32if you have family members you want to kind of like try this out on but i also drew this
37:36up quickly
37:37and took a photo with my phone because you can use sketches as a reference for say layout or
37:43composition of your images so again we drag in that drawing image and then top up our prompt so i
37:50have
37:50create an image of a clown dancing on the left with a grumpy businessman on the right use the drawing
37:54and
37:54the attached image as a reference for layout and composition as you can see here it's pretty much
37:58nailed it on this first image the second image is not perfect but i would say about 80 the way
38:03there
38:04so this is definitely a great reference or a great tool to include as a reference so that you can
38:09get
38:09more control over your images but i can also drag in an image of two people and then change the
38:15prompt
38:15so that way it actually includes the reference but puts those people into the same position within
38:21that shot i have the woman on the left the man on the right using the drawing and image one
38:25as a
38:25reference for layout and composition and not surprisingly nano banana 2 really nails it with
38:30that composition as well as the reference but now i'm going to take some imagery that i've drawn myself
38:35some artwork and i'm going to use nano banana 2 as a sketch to image tool to render that image
38:41and create
38:41something unique i simply drag the image in and then i ask it to render my drawing into a photo
38:47realistic
38:48image and what it gives me looks pretty incredible it even does a good job of taking some of the
38:54information and flippings they say the white background to like a space background because of
38:58the elements there and create something a little bit different a little bit more unique but if this
39:03isn't exactly what i want i can ask for some more details so i go far more in depth with
39:08the detail
39:09of the image and how i want it to look even down to the color of the flame so i
39:13can get something like
39:13this and what we get is a far more customized result we get the green flames we get the disheveled
39:20man
39:20and it follows it pretty closely you can see from left to right that this image actually looks pretty
39:25exact but you don't always get an exact replica for example this image is close but not exact it's
39:32tried to go a little bit more realistic with the proportions and it does take a little bit of creative
39:36liberty sometime when you're creating multiple images this one here the layout's closer but it's
39:40added more elements and flames around the man himself but if you're an artist who has drawings
39:45this can be a lot of fun to see what you can do to bring them to life so i
39:49threw a few more other
39:50images at this including this old musashi drawing which i call musashi because he's a bull
39:55and it did a great job of interpreting that and creating something pretty cool
39:59and this other pen drawing i did which is highly detailed and very hr giger inspired i also wanted
40:05to look a little bit 3d so i added unreal engine in there and you can see how you can
40:09really bring
40:10your drawings to life it looks like an actual 3d render and of course because i did multiple
40:15versions i have multiple images to choose from or look at to see how it all basically turned out
40:21but also grabbed this image here and i wanted it to look something a little more photorealistic but
40:26have a bit more of a painting feel to it so what you get is an image like this has
40:30a bit of a gold
40:30tint very caravaggio style but sometimes it'll also just take the outlines and color them in this
40:36is essentially just my drawing with color added on top of it but then i decided to take something
40:42else i got this other image which came out i thought it looked pretty good but i just wanted
40:46it to be a little bit more detailed it looked a little bit simple and just a little bit too
40:51sort
40:51of uh i guess blurry in the detail so i decided to add to that prompt and so i asked
40:57for a little
40:57extra realism and it reproduced the image a little bit sharper a little more detail on the hand and you
41:03can see how i'm able to then further enhance that drawing by taking the image that i created and using
41:08it to then further add that detail and basically reiterate on what i created you can also add
41:16special effects to your images pretty easily it's actually a lot of fun so you can take a photo
41:20like this monk here and basically have him holding a fireball narrow banana 2 makes it so easy i've
41:26simply added in place the monk in the attached image to a dark ancient temple and change the lighting
41:31to be darker more cinematic and dramatic keeping his pose identical have a fireball forming between his
41:36hands so energy coming from his hands it does a pretty good job and it's pretty easy to do but
41:41if
41:41you're still not quite happy with that result you can bring that generation back in and then adjust
41:47your props so that the glow and the lighting and shadows look a bit more natural and you see now
41:52how
41:52the lighting actually looks like it interacts with his body and if you compare it to the original
41:56which was just a bit sort of fuzzy and blurry it looks far more cinematic and more realistic
42:01but if i take something like this guy here i can do the same thing change the scene i can
42:06give him
42:07cybernetic components and arm and have one of his eyes glowing red and it's just simple with plain
42:12language describe what you're after and you can get an image which transforms but still has the
42:18consistency you need you see this still looks like him but it's kind of like a purple hulk type figure
42:23but describing what you want to see where you want to see it like bringing the lightsaber to life
42:27it automatically adds that glow to the side of the figure adding in these dramatic backgrounds
42:32is really quite easy just by changing the background you can take a photo of yourself
42:36and completely change the background and add an effect to it i think this looks a little bit lame
42:41but it works so well and it's such a simple prompt to achieve that effect but you can also quite
42:47easily create comics or little comic book strips so if i type in a simple prompt like create an action
42:53comic genre man discovering a banana in a dark cave and gaining superpowers 1960s style color comic i can
43:00use that and it will automatically follow that kind of timeline and story to create this sort of comic
43:06here the first one is like a single panel but then the next one it produced with the same prompt
43:10has
43:10multiple panels and it actually tells a story but i don't have to leave it up to nano banana to
43:15actually
43:15decide how the story works so i'm going to go in and give it some more instructions now i've changed
43:20the style to 1980s style comic by frank miller with four panels panel one shows a man opening an old
43:26chest panel two shows the banana inside the chest while panel three has the man holding the banana and
43:34saying at very last while panel four he is more muscular and transforming with lightning emitting around
43:42him so i've described it as four panels and what each panel actually has so now when i submit
43:47it and again now we get the four panels and it's called the style pretty well that's one pretty long
43:53prompt but what if we change the style and focus on just seeing what we can change from image to
43:58image
43:58so this is a 1980s style comic by frank miller with four panels you may notice it adds in a
44:03little bit
44:03of information like a little bit of text here and there the crackle and the boom but change that style
44:08to 1930s style comic in black and white and it's good it's a bit more of a classical feel to
44:13it we get a
44:13bit more information in there again you can stop you can actually read this comic and it actually
44:18kind of makes sense that's what i really love about it and the fact that you can change these different
44:23comic styles pretty effectively works well but when i shifted to modern 2000 style comic with bright
44:27color and incredible detail we get something on the other end of the spectrum now there is some
44:32familiarity in the drawing style but overall this could be a really awesome tool for creating comics
44:37especially when you combine it with the character consistency the world building the fact that you can
44:42extract a panel much like we did at the very start of the video applying all the tips we've covered
44:46onto this comic book panel makes it a really powerful tool but that should give you a few
44:51ideas on what you can do with nano banana too now i've just simply tried to really come up with
44:56as
44:56many ideas as possible and share them here but i'm really scratching the surface the intelligence
45:00of this model and the fact that you can interact with it in plain english means any idea you have
45:06is worth trying and i hope that some of these ideas that i've shared with you today have either
45:11helped or given you some more ideas and sent you down a path for something that is really useful and
45:16unique for you now i highly recommend using an all-in-one platform so you can get all that panel
