00:21tonight we're going to be doing a revisit of the one and only silver bullet itself
00:26cores light the last time i did a standalone review of this was over four years ago so i figured

00:35was high time that i do another revisit of this uh the main reason being i actually went to walmart
00:41earlier to pick up a 12 pack of miller light they were out of 12 packs of the miller light
00:45so i said
00:46screw it i'll just go with cores light it's been a very long time since i've bought a 12 pack
00:50of
00:51cores light now i have had miller light in the past few months doing you know beer battles and
00:57things like that but i have not done a standalone review of this in a very long time like i

01:03it's been four years so uh as always coming in at 4.2 abv this is a 12 fluid ounce
01:08can you can see
01:10that the mountains are blue so it's cold enough to drink cold lager cold filtered cold packaged
01:17gore's light we've all had it gotta be honest here we've probably all had it more than we'd like
01:24to admit but uh let's get it into a glass this used to be my uh go-to beer i
01:34used to drink this above
01:35all other beers and i don't know why that changed uh probably had a lot to do with price back
01:44in the
01:44day is about 10 bucks a 12 pack now it's a little over 12 a 12 pack um three finger
01:52head white
01:58uh yeah it was price and i was drinking a lot of natural light then i switched from natural light
02:04to miller light and that's what i'm on now and that's just where uh i am in my beer drinking

02:10so it's grainy smell right off the bat smells like your typical american adjunct lager nothing
02:17special about it nothing really all that different
02:22if you've had coors light you know exactly what i'm talking about it has its own little
02:27smell but it also smells very similar to the other big boys coors miller bud whatever
02:35but uh let's dive in coors light cheers
02:47super crisp clean refreshing
02:51great on a hot summer day although it is not hot here at all right now it's probably in the
02:55uh
02:57upper 20s still a really good beer though regardless of what uh season it is
03:11i mean it's beer and it tastes like beer
03:26uh in my last revisit that i did of this i gave it an 8 out of 10 and i
03:33don't know what i was
03:34thinking giving it a uh score that low because it's definitely not an 8 beer definitely higher than
03:41that i mean it's reliable it's really no better no worse than the other light beers
03:51uh i do still enjoy miller light more than this
03:57but it's kind of subjective really because my taste kind of flips
04:02i mean like last year i drank a lot of natural light this year i've drank a lot of miller
04:07light
04:08so and then a few years prior to that i was drinking a lot of coors light and keystone light
04:12so it just kind of depends on where you are in your beer tasting journey to see if you'll
04:19if this is something that you'll want to drink
04:27and obviously i have no problem drinking it i bought a 12 pack for a reason
04:32i could have bought anything else i could have bought bud light i could have bought
04:35natural light i could have bought keystone light i could have bought milwaukee's best light
04:41but i figured uh if miller light's not available this is probably the beer i'm going to go to this
04:46is probably my uh stand-in beer for sure
04:51uh like i said it's a little over 12 for the 12 pack here in missouri
04:55uh that's just walmart's prices i don't know about local liquor stores
04:59uh it's maybe a little bit cheaper maybe even a little bit more expensive depending on which one you go

05:04uh as far as the rating on coors light now here at the end of 2024
05:09i'm gonna hit it with a solid 9 out of 10 i think it's a very good light beer
05:15it's uh
05:19excuse me not the cheapest beer anymore
05:22but it never has been the cheapest beer
05:26but it's also not too bad it's right around where miller light would be
05:30so
05:31yeah 9 out of 10 i definitely think it's uh better than the 8 that i gave it previously four

05:45that's why i'm going 9 here bumping it up a point

05:51that's really all i gotta say about it i mean there's not much really to talk about
05:54it's a lot super light bodied
05:56light taste
05:59crisp clean refreshing
06:00ticks all the boxes
06:05and obviously you can see that it goes down quite well
06:09so that's the revisit of cores light
