00:00This was a terrible basketball game up until the Knicks' comeback.
00:04It was ugly to watch.
00:05It was the worst.
00:06I got your text.
00:07Yeah, it was the worst Knicks game, playoff game, I can remember.
00:12Certainly this year, it was just awful.
00:14I mean, they were doing nothing they were doing during their seven-game winning streak.
00:18They weren't closing out on threes.
00:19They were lazy on defense.
00:20They were missing all sorts of shots, air balls.
00:24I mean, it was just pathetic.
00:26And that's why when you get 21 down in the fourth quarter, I'm thinking they just don't have it tonight.
00:32Like, okay, fine, we'll just chalk it up to one game of rust, and then that'll be the end of
00:36it.
00:36But Jalen Brunson is a never-say-no guy, never-say-die guy and a clutch performer.
00:42And Kenny Atkinson did two things.
00:44A lot of things have to happen for this to go down.
00:46I mean, the Knicks have to be great, but the Cavaliers also have to choke, which they did.
00:50And one of the big things that Kenny Atkinson didn't adjust to was he allowed Jalen Brunson to score all
00:57those points on James Harden.
00:58I mean, he never did anything to adjust to get James Harden off of Jalen Brunson.
01:04And James Harden, you know, he goes and makes that shot to go up, what was it, 103-101 with
01:1120 seconds to go.
01:12And then back on defense, he just stands there like a traffic cone to let Jalen Brunson go around him
01:16and tie the game.
01:17So you had that, and then Kenny Atkinson decides, like, no, I'm just going to let this play out with
01:22all the momentum, fans screaming, on the road, and just sit on my timeouts for no reason whatsoever.
01:29So those are two things we can thank the Cavaliers.
