A 53-year-old man pleaded not guilty on Wednesday (May 20) to 13 charges of using three individuals’ identity card numbers to buy 594.459 litres of subsidised RON95 petrol under the Budi95 scheme in Baling, Kedah.

00:01A 53-year-old man pleaded not guilty at the magistrate's court in Barling on Wednesday
00:07to 13 charges of using other people's identity card numbers
00:11to buy subsidised Ron 95 petrol under the Budi Madani, Budi 95 scheme.
00:18Azman Aziz allegedly used the identity card numbers of three individuals
00:22to purchase nearly 595 litres of subsidised fuel,
00:27causing them to lose their monthly quotas.
00:30The offences were allegedly committed at the Padang Lengkuas BH patrol station
00:35between March 18 and April 23.
00:39Charged under Section 416 of the Penal Code,
00:42he faces up to seven years' jail, a fine or both if convicted.
00:47Sessions Court Judge Rohaida Ishak, sitting as magistrate,
00:52set bail at RM15,000 and fixed July 8 for case mention.
