Iran claims it has dismantled four alleged terror cells linked to foreign enemies before planned attacks could be carried out in the country’s southeast. Iranian intelligence says 19 operatives were arrested in Sistan and Baluchestan province with RPG launchers, machine guns, explosives, and American made weapons. Tehran is accusing the United States and Israel of backing covert networks to destabilize Iran from within, while renewed attention is falling on Donald Trump’s past remarks about sending weapons to Iranian protesters. The arrests come amid soaring regional tensions and an escalating shadow war between Iran, Israel, and the United States.

00:17A massive security operation inside Iran is making headlines tonight after Tehran
00:24claimed it dismantled four alleged terrorist cells before they could launch attacks in
00:31the country's southeast.
00:33Iran's Ministry of Intelligence says 19 operatives were arrested in Sistan and Balochistan
00:40province, a region that has long seen militant activity and cross-border insurgency.
00:46But what is now triggering global attention is Iran's explosive allegation that these
00:53groups were operating under the guidance of what it called the American Zionist enemy.
01:00And this comes at a time when tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States are already
01:07at a boiling point.
01:09According to Iranian authorities, the suspects belonged to Tekfiri extremist cells and were
01:16captured before carrying out any operations.
01:19Iranian forces say they recovered a major cache of weapons from the militant's hideout.
01:26That included a DSHK heavy machine gun, RPG-7 launchers with rockets, an American-made M4 rifle,
01:35multiple AK-47s, handguns, military gnoculars, and large quantities of ammunition.
01:43Iran also claims that most of the arrested men were foreign nationals who entered the country
01:50after receiving military training from extremist groups abroad.
01:54And while Tehran has frequently accused the U.S. and Israel of fueling unrest inside Iran,
02:01critics often dismiss these allegations as propaganda designed to justify crackdowns.
02:07But this time, an old statement from Donald Trump is once again being pulled back into
02:13the spotlight.
02:15During anti-government protests in Iran in April 2026, Trump publicly claimed that the
02:22United States had sent a lot of guns to Iranian protesters through Kurdish intermediaries.
02:28According to Trump, those weapons never reached the protesters because Kurdish groups allegedly
02:35kept them. The comments were reported by multiple international outlets and became one of the
02:42rare public acknowledgments suggesting direct American attempts to arm anti-regime elements
02:49inside Iran. That revelation is now being cited by Iranian media and pro-government voices as evidence
02:57supporting Tehran's long-standing claims of foreign interference.
03:02However, the larger picture remains deeply contested.
03:07Western governments accuse Iran of using foreign conspiracy narratives to suppress largely homegrown
03:14protests driven by economic collapse, political repression, and anger over human rights abuses.
03:21Independent investigations into past protest movements in Iran have shown that many demonstrations
03:28were organic and fueled by domestic grievances, not foreign plots.
03:34At the same time, the U.S. and Israel have openly pursued pressure campaigns against Iran for years.
03:42That includes sanctions, cyber operations, intelligence activities, and support for opposition movements aimed
03:50at weakening Iran's regional influence and nuclear ambitions.
03:55So tonight, two competing narratives are colliding once again. Iran says it stopped a foreign-backed terror
04:03operation before bloodshed began. Its critics say Tehran is using the threat of foreign enemies to tighten
04:12control internally. But one thing is certain. In the shadow war between Iran, Israel, and the United States,
04:20the battlefield is no longer limited to missiles and drones. It is now a war of intelligence, influence,
04:28covert networks, and competing narratives.
04:42This is not used in a war of electrical power, it is a war of intelligence.
04:42Is it a war of intelligence?
