00:45that was who ran wide, it was one of the Petters boys anyway, their cars look identical from a distance,
00:51Jamie was towards the back on the grid though, so I think that was him, there's Dave Marshall, engine issues

01:00grass tracking through Noble there and out towards Goodwood, chasing the number 14 car of Aidan Mitchell, they're all over
01:07each other in these early stages, like a swarm of multicoloured insects as they head out onto the far side

01:19is trying to be fourth, there's Josh Files, yesterday's winner, the number 99, the blue and yellow car, former Clio

01:27he's raced in TCR touring cars and won titles there as well, and here comes Max Edmondson, the 2024 champion,
01:34now plies his train in the Mini Challenge JCW, he takes Jake Hewlett as they come into the chicane, Jake
01:40Renshaw gets his line a bit wrong there through the chicane, he's tagged somebody, there's one car sent off into
01:46the weeds on the outside, it was an FN2 shaped Civic, I can tell you that,
01:50we'll pick up who that was in a moment, cars all over each other, Dave Marshall's picked up a bit
01:55of damage in there as well in the 66 car, Josh Bromley goes grass tracking in the 37, failed to
02:00finish yesterday's race, so trying to make up for lost time.
02:04So after all that, it's Constable who leads Wilkins, Austin in third place, Spencer Stevenson the championship leader in fourth
02:11position, but I think if it stays like this, Matt Wilkins will go back to the top of the points
02:15provisionally with that second place, but it's a long way to go yet, and I think the safety car is
02:21going to be coming out, so we've got a car off at the chicane as Freddie Ingram takes Harry England
02:25in the number 33, yes, Marshall's going, oh goodness me, big crash in the background,
02:30I thought the Marshall's were running for it, there, that's a big one, we'll identify who that was in a
02:37moment, there's the reason for the safety car, it's Wesley Swain who's off at the chicane, but a big crash
02:42further round at Noble and the red flag is now coming out.
02:49We'll identify who that was in a moment up there, but the main thing is we hope everyone including the
02:54Marshall's are okay there, I saw the Marshall's diving off their post and that was why.
03:03So race stopped, there's the reason the safety car came out, Wesley Swain in the barriers, he tangled up with
03:12Jake Renshaw at the chicane, he's okay, but an even bigger incident further round just as the safety car was
03:18about to come out.
03:34We're going to hold on identifying those cars for a moment, I think one of them may have been Freddie
03:39Ingram in the 57, I couldn't see who the other one was, that was up at Sir Noble.
03:54And the medical staff will attend, hopefully that's just as a precaution to make sure that the drivers and of
04:00course our marshals are okay.
04:05There's one of the drivers out of the car.
04:11David Walsh, one of the cars involved and I think the other one is Freddie Ingram.
04:17Yes, it is Ingram and look at the state of the rear of that car, that's I think the end
04:22of Freddie Ingram's weekend.
04:26Everybody thankfully appears to be okay there, that's the main thing.
04:29That was pretty frightening there as those two cars piled into the tyre wall in front of the Marshall's post.
04:42Just shows the dangers that not only drivers but marshals and officials face at race weekends.
04:52Let's see if we can see what's happened there.
04:54There's Freddie Ingram, the 57.
04:57So they came up towards Noble.
04:59He was clipped by Harry England into David Walsh.
05:02They went off, the marshals dive for cover and wallop straight in.
05:07Freddie Ingram's car certainly took the worst of that.
05:11Thankfully we saw he is out of the car and appears to be okay.
05:14Nasty incident there coming through Noble.
05:17Shows just how quick this circuit is.
05:20And thankfully it looks like all our marshals are okay as well.
05:28So the incident will be cleared up.

07:44far this weekend that are causing all of these delays and red flags.
07:47But as you can hear in the background we've got a little bit of peace and quiet for the moment.
