00:00You've probably seen people claim that you can make $10,000 a month with AI in less than 30 days.
00:04And for most people, especially if you have a job, kids, and real responsibilities,
00:08that's just not realistic. But there are AI business ideas that actually make money.
00:13And I'm going to rank five of them today based on startup costs, difficulty,
00:16how fast you can realistically make your first $1,000, long-term scalability,
00:21and whether the average person can actually pull this off.
00:23And the last one is what I'm personally focused on and going all in on this year.
00:27And if I was looking to focus on just one that could potentially replace my nine-to-five job
00:30in the next 12 to 24 months, this would be it.
00:33All right, let's get into it, starting with number five.
00:34Okay, number five is AI resume optimization.
00:37And this is a hot one right now because there are so many people that are losing their jobs to
00:41AI,
00:41especially over the next five years, that are going to need help optimizing their resumes
00:44and getting another job.
00:45And before you say it, yes, I know, this one sounds really boring, but hear me out.
00:49Because if you really need to make money fast, this is probably the fastest way to do it with AI.
00:53Here's the concept.
00:54Use a tool like ChatGPT, Teal, KickResume, and you help people rewrite and optimize their resumes
00:59for a specific job that they're applying for.
01:02AI can help tailor it with the keywords for the applicants, a tracking system,
01:06cleaning up formatting, and even make the resume that actually gets a callback.
01:09The startup cost, essentially zero, maybe a hundred bucks.
01:12You can literally start tomorrow.
01:14The difficulty level, I'd give it a three out of 10.
01:17And if you understand how to prompt ChatGPT,
01:19and you have a basic eye on what a good resume looks like,
01:21you're qualified to do this right now.
01:23So speed to your first $1,000.
01:25It's fast.
01:26Seriously, you could charge anywhere from $75 to $150 per resume.
01:30If you land 10 clients, you're already at $1,000.
01:33People are always job hunting.
01:34And like I said, with AI replacing so many different jobs,
01:36the demand for this is just going to continue to skyrocket.
01:38But here's the catch.
01:39This is why it's number five.
01:41Scalability is low.
01:42Like, really low.
01:43There's a ceiling to how many resumes one person can write and review in a single week.
01:47You're also competing with a lot of other people that are doing this exact same thing.
01:50And the market is starting to get a little bit flooded.
01:51You can upload your profile on Fiverr, Upwork, or Freelancer.com to get started.
01:56So if you're desperate for some quick cash,
01:57and you need to see money coming in within a couple weeks, start here.
02:00But if you're thinking long game, keep watching.
02:03All right, number four is AI digital products.
02:05And this one has some serious long-term upside.
02:07But I have to be honest with you on why it's not higher on the list.
02:10The concept is pretty simple.
02:11You use AI to help you create digital products.
02:13Think eBooks, Notion templates, Canva packs, printables, prompt libraries, mini courses.
02:19And then you sell them on platforms like Thrivecart, Etsy, ClickFunnels, and my favorite, HighLevel.
02:24My wife Brittany and I have done versions of this on our sites for years, and it works phenomenal.
02:27But it does require a lot of patience that most people don't have.
02:30But in order to sell your digital products, you're obviously going to need traffic to be able to see them.
02:33So we use social media to leverage and market our products.
02:35We also use paid ads, and we have a full funnel that basically has upsells and downsells and a membership.

03:01But here's what most people underestimate with this.
03:04It's maybe like a 7 or 8 out of 10 when it comes to actually getting people to find and
03:08buy your products.
03:09For this AI business idea, the marketing is actually the hardest part, not the creation of the digital products, like
03:14I was mentioning.
03:15All right, so speed to your first $1,000.
03:17And this is where I want to be completely honest and straight with you.
03:19It's slow.
03:20Most people don't make their first $1,000 with digital products for three to six months.
03:24And if you're hoping to pay the bills in the next month, this one is definitely not for you.
03:28But if you're already doing social media and have an audience already, this is a great one to start and
03:32add on to the business that you already have.
03:34When we launched our first digital product, which was just a simple budgeting binder, we had an audience already built
03:38in place.
03:39And when we launched it, we made thousands of dollars in the first day because we knew our audience wanted
03:43and needed it.
03:44So if you have an audience, you can kind of leverage that to get started.
03:46But that's not to say you can't make digital products and sell them without an audience.
03:50We've actually been super blessed with digital products.
03:52We went all in just a couple of years ago and we've made over a million dollars selling them.
03:55Now, that is not normal and what you can expect if you wanted to start selling digital products.
03:59But I just want to show you and give you a vision and motivation that it can happen.

04:05It basically teaches you how to make digital products and then sell them on platforms like Etsy.
04:09And she's had a ton of success over the last six to eight months doing so.
04:11All right, so let's talk about scalability.
04:13This is where it gets really interesting.
04:14Once you've built the right product for the right people and they actually start finding it,
04:18you can sell it when you're sleeping, when you're at your kid's soccer game, or when you're cooking dinner.
04:22We've had mornings where we woke up to sales that came in overnight without even lifting a single finger.
04:26That's the dream.
04:27But you have to build and put in the work to make it happen.
04:29And most people give up before they get there.
04:31All right, number three.
04:32And this is where things start to get really interesting.
04:35AI content repurposing service.
04:37Here's the deal.
04:37Every business owner, coach, podcaster, YouTuber, real estate agent out there,
04:42they're sitting on a goldmine of content that they don't have time to turn into anything useful.
04:47One one-hour podcast could turn into 20 tweets, five Instagram carousels, three LinkedIn posts,
04:52an email newsletter, a short video, short content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook,
04:56and most of them don't have the time or skill set to do that themselves.
05:00That's where you would come in.
05:01You would take their long-form content, their podcast episodes, their YouTube videos,
05:04their webinars, blog posts, any content they have.
05:07And you would use AI tools like Opus Clip, Descript, and ChatGPT to chop it up,
05:12repurpose it, and hand them back a full content calendar.
05:15Startup cost, again, is basically nothing.
05:17And that's what I love about all these AI businesses.
05:19Maybe like $50 to $100 a month with a software subscription.
05:23The difficulty I'd say is like a 5 out of 10.
05:25You need to understand content a little bit in social media and what makes a good hook,
05:28what formats are working on what platforms.
05:31But AI does most of the lifting for you once you set it up right.
05:33So speed to your first $1,000.
05:35I'd say it's pretty like medium fast.
05:37You can get two to three local businesses or a couple online coaches at $400 to $600 a month each,
05:42and you're already there.
05:43Scalability is solid too.
05:44I'd say it's anywhere between like medium to high.
05:46As you build out systems and templates, you can take on more clients without increasing your work time.
05:50Some people are running this at $5,000 to $10,000 a month with a small team helping them.
05:54This is genuinely one of the most beginner-friendly ways to land real paying clients fast
05:58because you're already solving a pain point that they already know they have.
06:01All right, moving on to the last two, this is where things get serious.

06:23Number two, and I've got a personal story for this one.
06:26A few weeks ago, I helped a local business completely rebuild their website.
06:29Their old site looked like it was designed in 2009.
06:32It was slow.
06:33It was ugly.
06:34It was not mobile-friendly, and it had zero conversions.
06:37It was costing them customers and lost revenue that they didn't even know.
06:40I used an AI tool called Lovable, which if you haven't heard of it,
06:43it's essentially an AI website builder that spins up professional-looking websites in minutes
06:47with just a few text prompts.
06:49I went in, rebuilt their site, customized it for their brand, and then made sure it was clean,
06:53fast, and actually converted visitors into leads.
06:55And they paid me $2,500 for it.
06:57And it took me a fraction of the time and money it would have taken with a traditional
07:01web developer.
07:01And the best part is I got that money up front, but they're also going to be paying me monthly
07:04to host the website, maintenance, and have some automations on the back end that I'll
07:08talk about later.
07:09And I'll be earning $297 a month from them, reoccurring.
07:12That's the opportunity here.
07:13Local businesses, restaurants, contractors, dentists, law firms, real estate agents, they all
07:18need websites.
07:19And most of them either don't have one or they have one that's really bad that was made 10 years
07:24ago.
07:24And most of them are not tech savvy, have no idea how to make a website, and want nothing
07:28to do with it.
07:28And they're happily willing to pay someone a premium to make it happen.
07:31So startup costs are super low for this one too.
07:33I think lovable is about $25 a month.
07:35So you're looking at, you know, $50 to $100 with software.
07:39You need to be comfortable with AI tools and have a decent eye for design, but you don't
07:43need to know how to code.
07:44The difficulty I'd say is like a 6 out of 10.
07:46You should definitely be comfortable with AI tools and prompting back and forth like ChatGPT,
07:49and have a decent eye for what a good website looks like, but you can always find nice ones
07:52to kind of emulate online, but you definitely don't need to know how to code.
07:56The speeds of your first $1,000 is very fast.
07:58Once you land that first client, that one website could be anywhere from $1,000 up to
08:03$5,000, depending on the scope and how professional the site is.
08:06I personally sell custom websites anywhere from $2,500 up to $5,000 in my agency.
08:10But here's the honest truth on why this is number two and not number one.
08:13This is still a one-time revenue.
08:15Every time you need to make money, you need to get another client.
08:17You're constantly hunting, and when life gets busy, family stuff, sick kid, rough week,
08:21your income can dry up.
08:23There's no reoccurring engine behind it.
08:25So it's a great way to build fast cash and get an AI business up and running, but it's
08:28not a business model that I would rely on forever.
08:30Which brings me to number one on the list, the one I'm currently all in on myself.
08:33If you're serious about building something that could realistically replace your job income
08:37in the next 12 to 24 months, this is the one I would focus on, and it's not even close.
08:42AI automation for local businesses.
08:43And I want to explain exactly what it means, because it does sound complicated, but it's
08:47not, especially once you understand it.
08:48Think about every local business near you.
08:50The HVAC company, the dentist's office, the landscaping company, insurance agency.
08:54Every single one of them is losing money because of one of these problems.
08:57They miss calls because they're busy, and 80% of those callers will never call back.
09:01They'll go back to Google, look at the next business, and call them up and use them.
09:04They have zero follow-up system for leads.
09:06Someone fills out a form on their website, and nobody calls them back for three days.
09:09They're not getting any five-star reviews for Google, even if they have happy customers,
09:13just because they're not asking at the right moment.
09:15And lastly, they have no chat widget on their website, so people leave without ever contacting
09:18them.
09:19Your job is to simply build and manage an AI system that fixes all of that for them.

10:36Once you land your first client, you're practically there already.
10:39And that is the most important thing is to land your first client, get money coming in.
10:43A basic automation package for local businesses can run anywhere from $500 to $1,500 as a setup
10:48fee and then $300 to $900 as a monthly retainer.
10:52I personally will do the custom websites on top of that and then do the backend automations
10:56and charge anywhere from $2.97 to $9.97 per month.
10:59And again, this is reoccurring revenue every single month.
11:03So scalability, this is where the ceiling basically disappears.
11:075 clients at $500 a month, you're already at $2,500.
11:1110 clients, you're at $5,000.
11:1220 clients, you're at $10,000.
11:14Life-changing money.
11:15And if you build this business right and you're selling systems, you're not trading your hours
11:18for that.
11:19You're setting it up one time for your clients, teaching them how it works, and then the automations
11:22are doing the work.
11:23And that's not hype.
11:24This is just simple math with an incredible business opportunity.
11:26Look, I want to be straight with you before I close this out.
11:28When Brittany and I started our first online business, we were absolutely drowning.
11:31I was working as a jail deputy, forced overtime, missed holidays, barely got to see my family.

12:13If you want to start something that scales, start a SaaS company that does AI automations
12:16for local businesses.
12:17And that's exactly where I'm putting all of my time and energy.
12:20The technology right now makes it more accessible than it ever has been before.
12:23You don't need to have a computer science degree.
12:25You don't need to have a massive following.
12:26You don't need to be a guru.
12:27You just need the right system and the willingness to take the first step.
