00:11Street were sawn through at the base on Friday. The group says the trees are believed to have
00:17been removed by two men using a chainsaw. Councillor Izzy Knowles says the damage is
00:22devastating for volunteers who have spent years improving the area through litter picking,
00:28graffiti removal and work with local businesses. She says CCTV may help identify those responsible.
00:35The group says West Midlands Police is investigating after describing the damage
00:40as absolutely heartbreaking for local residents.
