00:00Old? No. No, I look old.
00:05And you want my age? Yeah.
00:0878.
00:10I used to think my grandfather at 65 was a fossil, you know, when you looked at that.
00:17But now I don't see myself as old.
00:27Yeah, I'm Peter Hazel.
00:30And I'm 78.
00:33And I've been coming to this gym for over 16 years.
00:41Well, there's something wrong with that in there, eh?
00:44So, there.
00:46That's where I thought, well, if you get to that stage, you really need to sort yourself out.
00:53And that's the way I see it.
00:59Cut two words, slow down.
01:01You know, I was well behind a lot of the guys here that were older.
01:05But you still have a huge ego.
01:07You think, oh, I can do these things.
01:10And there was a bloke 86 here and we had to run around downstairs.
01:15Guess who did his hamstring?
01:17Trying to keep up with the 86-year-old.
01:19Ambition and ability were too far apart.
01:22So, no, I've built up fairly well now.
01:25You know, and I think even in life it helps you with your thinking and everything.
01:31And, yeah, I'd recommend healthy activities like this to anyone.
01:36And as I say, the social side's really good because a lot of guys around my age from my old
01:42networks down here.
01:45And, yeah, so it's a lot of fun.
01:48At 78, I know I'm going to be able to do less and less and less as fun goes on.
01:52But I'm comfortable about that.
01:55But I just want to stay using all these muscles so that you can do other things.
02:00Yeah.
02:01Look, I think just do it, you know.
02:04Come out, have a go.
02:05I mean, I would urge everyone to stay as active as they can, you know.
02:10And, yeah, sometimes it's hard.
02:13But generally after you've worked out, you feel pretty good.
