00:00We've been really clear as a government that we think that the Brexit deal that this country
00:04got under the last Conservative government has harmed people's living standards. It's created
00:11barriers for us not just trading with Europe but working with our allies in Europe on major issues
00:17around security and global affairs and we want a closer relationship with Europe. But I'm slightly
00:26baffled as to why anybody would think that the only answer to the absolute kicking that Labour got at
00:34the polls last Thursday is Europe. Essentially that is saying to people in towns like mine in Wigan
00:41that we just need to go back to 2015 when everything was fine. Everything was not fine then.
00:47We've got serious action that we need to take as a country to make sure that the economy, housing,
00:54public services work for people in a way that they haven't done for a really long time.
