Karla (2006) Full Movie | True Crime Thriller | Laura Prepon, Misha Collins

Karla_ is a 2006 Canadian-American crime drama based on the true story of Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo, known as the "Ken and Barbie Killers." The film is told mostly from Karla’s point of view during a parole evaluation, flashing back to how she met Paul and became involved in his crimes. It’s rated R for graphic violence, sexual content, and disturbing themes.

In 2000, Karla Homolka is approaching the end of her 12-year manslaughter sentence and is evaluated by psychiatrist Dr. Arnold for parole eligibility.

Through flashbacks, Karla recounts meeting Paul Bernardo in 1987. At first their relationship seems normal, but Paul reveals he’s the Scarborough Rapist. Karla becomes complicit, helping him drug and assault women, including her own younger sister Tammy, who dies after being drugged and raped.

The couple later kidnaps, sexually assaults, and murders two other young girls, Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy. Paul blames Karla for one murder during his trial. She pleads guilty to manslaughter in exchange for testifying against him and receives 12 years. The film ends with her parole being denied due to lack of remorse.
