When newlyweds Lena and Marcus Holloway stumble upon a stunning Victorian estate at a foreclosure auction, they believe they've found their dream home. Nestled in a quiet New England town and surrounded by misty woods, the house is a steal—despite its tragic history and decades of abandonment.
But as they begin renovations, strange phenomena emerge walls that bleed, floorboards that groan with grief, and whispers that echo through the halls at night. Lena, a trauma nurse with a history of sleepwalking, begins to experience vivid dreams of a woman buried alive beneath the house. Marcus, a history teacher, uncovers records of a 19th-century séance gone wrong—and a family that vanished without a trace.

As the couple digs deeper, they awaken a sorrowful entity trapped within the house’s foundation—a spirit mourning a betrayal so profound it warped the very structure of the home. The deeper they investigate, the more the house reacts, weeping blood, reshaping rooms, and feeding on their fears.
To survive, Lena must confront her own buried trauma and uncover the truth behind the house’s original inhabitants. But the house doesn’t want to be healed—it wants to be heard. And it will not stop until its story is told in blood.
