00:01Dear Flabby, everybody knows that gas prices are out of control these days.
00:10I work for a company with about 50 company work vehicles.
00:15We mostly fill up our cars and trucks at the Shell station near the office.
00:21There are several company credit cards that circulate for fill-ups.
00:26I saw an employee absolutely use the company card to fill up their personal SUV after work last week.
00:35As I was filling up, I saw the employee again yesterday at the gas station as I was going home.
00:45I assumed that they were using the company gas card again.
00:50What should I do?
00:52Should I ignore this obvious employee theft or report him gas problem in Tampa for Dear Flabby?
01:02You have come to the right place.
01:04Oh, I'm sure they have.
01:06You have come to the right guy.
01:07He is?
01:09Back in the day, when we worked at the other radio station.
01:14By the way, Fester does not see these Dear Flabbies.
01:18Yeah, I have no idea what these Dear Flabbies are going to be.
01:20He's hearing this story cold.
01:22All right.
01:23So back in the day, when we worked at the other radio station and accounting was really loose,
01:28we had gas cards.
01:29That was back with, what, Joanne?
01:31Joanne, back when accounting was like two people.
01:34And Russell was out to lunch four days a week.
01:37And nobody kept their eye on the gas card.
01:40Oh, God.
01:41I had my own individual.
01:43I don't think I paid for gas for like four years.
01:46I had to leave it to Fester to be able to wiggle a personal story into this gas theft Dear
01:51Flabby.
01:51But it was a Sitco card.
01:52Oh, I remember.
01:53So we had to use Sitcos only.
01:55Oh, on Gandy.
01:55Yeah.
01:55It was the Sitco on Gandy.
01:57Yeah.
01:58Yeah.
01:58That was the primary one.
01:59But you could use Sitcos around the area, but it was a Sitco card.
02:02And I acquired one.
02:05Oh.
02:05And then it expired, and I acquired another.
02:09And I kept it for years.
02:12I mean, dude, that's an employee perk.
02:16Listen, you got to say, you got to say, okay, gas problem in Tampa.
02:23Dear gas problem in Tampa.
02:26I would figure out how I can blackmail or extort that employee to let them have you use the
02:34same card to get the gas as well.
02:36No.
02:36Yes.
02:37Say that again.
02:38I would confront the employee and say, hey, I know you're using the company gas card.
02:44And they'd be like, uh, uh, because you're putting them on the spot now.
02:47And instead of turning them in, join them.
