Transcript
00:00Here we are at the Erin's Arts Centre, Erin Port Erin, with the lovely Hinoko.
00:04So, do you want to tell us, is your first time on the Isle of Man?
00:07It's actually my second time, but the first time was maybe seven years ago now.
00:11So, it's really lovely to be back.
00:13It's super nice.
00:14And you're doing a show here tonight.
00:16Is it just the one show?
00:17It's just the one show, yeah.
00:19So, what would you sort of describe your music as?
00:23It's a loaded question, isn't it?
00:25I guess I use a lot of synthesizers and some of the soundscapey, field recordings, voice and piano.
00:34So, kind of maybe ambient meaning, but some of that also, yeah.
00:40And what do you like about the Isle of Man?
00:42I love the nature here.
00:44It's just beautiful.
00:45Like, it just is so different.
00:46And it's its own sort of biosphere, I feel like.
00:49I feel like you instantly feel that when you're on the soil.
00:52So, very happy to be here.
00:53Well, we're happy to have you.
00:55I'm happy to meet you as well.
00:57Of course.
00:58And then, how did you get into creating music?
01:01I guess I've been playing piano since I was a kid.
01:04And it was more classical based.
01:06But then when I went to university to study sound recording, I ended up working more with bands.
01:10And I guess just through friends, I ended up doing more playing and making.
01:14Yeah.
01:15And I guess I'm doing what I'm doing now.
01:17So.
