We're at the Sea Otter Classic to get a first look at the latest innovations from veloToze. From an aerodynamic base layer claimed to save 7-8 watts to a hydro vest that integrates hydration, and a sneak peek at their new cooling Glacier gloves, this is the future of performance cycling apparel.

00:00Spotted loads of cool tech here at Sea Otter but some of the best value performance upgrades might
00:05be on this stand from Veloto's. So this is their latest Aeroflow base layer and this is an Aeroflow
00:12hydro base layer. So this one over a standard base layer is claimed to save you seven to eight watts
00:19at 40 kph and you can see that it's not just the sleeves that has this aero ribbing but also
00:24along the back as well. But then the Aeroflow hydro vest takes those gains. This one claims to be
00:32four to five watts quicker than a standard setup even though you can carry your fluids. I think
00:37there'll be a lot of people using this during the Sea Otter gravel event here in the US. But that's
00:43not all. These aren't even out yet and so we've just spotted these. These are the Glacier gloves
00:47and the Glacier headband. Now racing especially in the summer is getting hotter and hotter. The Tour
00:54de France is getting hotter than ever and these are designed with Ultra Cool Tech that's another
00:59company and they're designed to stay wet so as you sweat on your bike ride so that you get that
01:05evaporation and therefore the cooling effect. It'll be interesting to see how many of the pros will be
01:11using them at this year's Tour de France and Vuelta.
