00:00Mr. President, are you going to suspend the federal gas tax?
00:03Yeah, I'm going to reduce until the...
00:07Let me tell you, as soon as this is over with Iran,
00:10as soon as it's over, you're going to see gasoline and oil drop like a rock.
00:16It's going to be dropping down like a rock.
00:19I mean, already, look, just on the basis of...
00:23You know, things have happened.
00:25When it first came about, 20% of the oil came out of Hormuz.
00:31That's a lot.
00:33But, you know, with time, it's like they're going to Texas,
00:38they're going to Louisiana, they're going to Alaska, a lot of Alaska.
00:42Alaska is, you know, sort of, it seems like very far away from Asia,
00:46but it's actually a relatively short trip
00:50by comparison to other locations they have to go to to get oil.
00:54And they're going to Alaska.
00:56In fact, our big problem is we're building bigger docks,
00:59docking, you know, to fill up.
01:01But we have, we've become very big on the filling station.
01:05We're a big filling station.
01:07And what's happening is, when this first,
01:11when people heard about losing Hormuz,
01:14they said, oh, this is, it's genius.
01:17They're finding other locations.
01:19And some of those people, I spoke to them, companies and countries,
01:23some of those people are going to continue to go to Texas.
01:25They like it better.
01:26They said it's an extra 45 minutes.
01:29They like it better.
01:32And it's sort of amazing, you know, it found its way.
01:35So a lot of people thought oil would go to $250, $300.
01:39It's not.
01:39I mean, today it's at less than $100.
01:42Think of that.
01:42Now, when this ends, you're going to see a drop like a rock.
01:48How long are you going to suspend that tax for then?
01:51Until it's appropriate, yeah.
01:55It's a, you know, it's a small percentage,
01:57but it's, you know, it's still money.
