00:06I'm a producer here at the Dodo, and when I saw this monkey,
00:10I had to reach out to Rod to find out more about his story.
00:15Oh, how short is that time?
00:17There's a local lady.
00:18She sent us a message saying, Roda, I know you deal specifically with dogs,
00:22but we've got a monkey here you need to come and see.
00:26No shade from the sun.
00:27The only time he would stop hitting himself is if someone threw him a bottle of water
00:32or a juice box, and then all of a sudden something would happen,
00:36and he would just start slapping and biting himself again.
00:45We had to negotiate Sen's freedom.
00:49We had organized for a spot for Sen at the Wildlife Friends Foundation on the mainland,
00:54and that's where he started his journey to the mainland.
01:11There's mangoes and bananas and rambutans and peanuts.
01:24He's much improved now.
01:26He's almost like a different monkey now.
