00:12Iran had called for an end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, where U.S. ally Israel is
00:17fighting Iran-backed Hezbollah militants.
00:19Tehran also demanded compensation for war damage, an end to the U.S. naval blockade, and its sovereignty over the
00:25Strait of Hormuz.
00:26But Trump says Iran's response threatens the status of a ceasefire that has been set since April 7.
00:31He says the response is the weakest right now and claims he didn't even finish reading it.
00:36The U.S. proposed an end to the war but did not include talks on more contentious issues like Iran's
00:41nuclear program.
00:42Meantime, Tehran remains firm in its stance.
00:45Iran's parliament speaker, Mohamed Baquer Khalibaf, also says its armed forces are ready to respond to any act of aggression.
