Gergely Boda, from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, captured the terrifying first-person footage while riding at what he claims was 3,000 meters in the Caucasus. The video shows the rider suddenly losing traction on a narrow icy slope, sending both rider and bike sliding rapidly down the mountain face. As the descent accelerates, the biker desperately digs his hands into the snow in an attempt to slow the fall and avoid a far steeper drop below. After several tense moments, the rider manages to stop just in time before recovering the bike and carefully making his way back to safety. Despite the near-disaster, the biker remained remarkably calm throughout the ordeal and was left unhurt. Gergely said: “Up here, there’s no room for mistakes.
