00:09staff from New York and Geneva to Africa.

01:06As we mark the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, we are reimagining how we work, how we deliver, how
01:14we lead.
01:15And we do so recognizing the role of this great continent.
01:19Africa is a driver of solutions, a source of innovation, and a voice of moral clarity in our shared pursuit
01:27of peace and security, sustainable development, and human rights.
01:32Under U.S. President Donald Trump, Washington has sharply cut UN funding, increasing pressure on the organization to reduce costs.
