00:02Police estimate more than 200 people swarmed this street behind me on Saturday as part of a social
00:09media trend that's been dubbed a Scientology speed run. Now officers say they had early
00:14information about a possible gathering of juveniles here at the Scientology building. As a result they
00:20worked with the owners to make sure that the premises were secured and deployed a team of
00:25three officers. Those officers arrive expecting to be met with a small group of juveniles instead
00:31they say they were stormed by a crowd of more than 200 people. When the crowd learnt that the doors
00:37to
00:37the premises were locked police allege a riot broke out. They say two juveniles entered a marked police
00:43car. They also allege another rode over the top of a car on a BMX bike. They've called the whole
00:50incident a deliberate act to intimidate and as a result a 15 year old boy has been charged with
00:57unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. Another 18 year old has been hit with a number of offences
01:03including public nuisance. They'll both front court later this month as police work to identify the
01:11others who were in the crowd on Saturday. But they've urged parents that stamping out this kind of
01:17behaviour begins at home. They've asked parents to talk to their children about antisocial behaviour and
01:24are of course appealing for anyone with information on this incident to come forward.
