00:40kailangan anya itong harapin at pag-usapan.
00:43Across our sessions, we examine thoroughly issues on energy security, food resilience, the safety of our nationals,
00:52and the broader pressures created by an increasingly uncertain geopolitical environment.
00:57These were not easy discussions, but they were necessary ones.
01:03The strength of ASEAN has never depended on the absence of difficulty.
01:08It has grown on our willingness to confront difficulty and the difficult realities that together we share and face as
01:17a region.
01:31So, as we return to our respected capitals, let us do so with a renewed understanding
01:37that while our countries may face different pressures, our long-term security remains closely connected.
01:45No member state can insulate itself entirely from instability beyond its borders.
01:50But neither should any member state feel that it must face these challenges alone.
01:57And it is moments such as this that also compel us to reassess what matters most.
02:16If there is one lesson the recent weeks have been reinforced,
02:20it is that regional cooperation must ultimately serve people in practical ways.
02:26Our citizens do not measure our success by the number of inspirational statements that we issue.
02:33They measure it by whether their communities are more secure,
02:37whether their livelihoods are protected,
02:40and whether their children can face the future with confidence.
02:54So as we leave this summit,
02:56may we do so with a clearer sense of purpose,
02:59a stronger commitment to one another,
03:02and the confidence that ASEAN can continue to shape a region
03:06that is resilient, innovative, dynamic, and people-centered.
03:11Kenneth Pasyente, para sa Pambansang TV, sa Bagong Pilipinas.
