00:06This one is my personal favorite.
00:09Ah, three beautiful generations of Dupree women on the runway.
00:15Samantha was so adorable.
00:18I swear that child has grown up so fast.
00:21Our little Chelsea put on a real show.
00:24I'm glad her last time on the runway was something special.
00:27Danny handled it well.
00:29I think she's finally accepting Chelsea's decision to stop modeling.
00:34What a beautiful way to end the Dupree modeling era.
00:41What's this about?
00:44You know how you always say that we can be anything we want?
00:48That if we find the thing that we're passionate about,
00:51we should pursue it and never let anyone get in the way?
00:54I feel like I'm about to eat those words right now, but yeah.
00:58I found my passion, Dad.
01:01I want to be a model and nothing's getting in my way.
01:08I know I'm probably catching you a little off guard.
01:11You think?
01:14I mean, I did see you work that runway at Aunt Danny's fashion show, like you owned it.
01:22And I'm no fashionista, but you did seem like a natural to me.
01:27I knew you'd get it.
01:29It's like I was where I was meant to be.
01:32I'm glad you feel it.
01:35But...
01:35I know what you're going to say.
01:37School has to be my priority.
01:40And I know that modeling can be a difficult profession.
01:43That is an understatement.
01:45And I understand that.
01:47Do you really?
01:48I do.
01:50And I bet your first concern is how I'm going to get Papa on board with my plan.
01:58Tyrell, what did you want to talk about?
02:03You know you can share anything with me.
02:08Sometimes I think you and Dad fail to realize that people my age can handle their own problems and their
02:12own decisions.
02:14There.
02:15Who are we talking about here?
02:17Is this about you or Samantha?
02:21It's about me.
02:23Just me.
02:24Is it?
02:25Because I saw the look you gave your sister when you said you needed to talk to me.
02:29Tyrell, what's really going on here?
03:04Tyrell, what's really going on here?
03:19So, have you come up with a brilliant strategy to beat Naomi in court and save the fern?
03:26No, not yet.
03:28My daughter's no dummy.
03:31I think I need to clear my head.
03:33You know what?
03:34How about I take my beautiful bride to lunch?
03:36Hmm, great.
03:38Because I am starving.
03:42What are you in the mood for?
03:43Uptown or Orphe jeans?
03:46No, no, I think I got a hankering for the chicken Caesar salad at the country club.
03:50That's my favorite, not yours.
03:54And I'm persona non grata, remember?
03:57Ignored by everyone from the ladies on the tennis court to the staff.
04:01Which is unacceptable.
04:03Which is unacceptable, okay?
04:04We are definitely launching at the country club.
04:08I'm going to make damn sure that you get every bit of respect that you deserve.
04:12You mean I'll get some of the respect that you get?
04:15No, no, baby steps, sweetheart.
04:17All right?
04:18Just give me time.
04:19I'll end this cold war against you, all right?
04:21Yeah.
04:22If only it could be that simple, Bill.
04:24It will be that simple.
04:26It will be.
04:27All you got to do is give me a chance.
04:29I have every bit as much power at that country club as my ex-wife.
04:35Thank you, Taylor.
04:37That is always my Miss Dupree.
04:40Oh.
04:41Mm-hmm.
04:43Oh, Hannah.
04:46Good afternoon, Danny.
04:48Thank you for organizing this meeting.
04:51I apologize if I'm late.
04:53Oh, no.
04:54I'm early.
04:55I was up all last night thinking about new ideas for the first-gen grants program.
05:00I went a little nuts.
05:01Well, I certainly didn't want you to do that.
05:04I wrote out a pitch deck with some of my ideas, complete with spreadsheets.
05:08I really wish you hadn't gone to so much trouble.
05:11I'm capable of doing more than organizing a fashion show, you know.
05:14Well, don't minimize the importance of that fashion show.
05:18We're very appreciative of all the money raised.
05:22It's wonderful that you can end things on a high note.
05:26Sorry, what do you mean by end?
05:30Effective today, you will no longer be a member of the board of first-gen grants.
05:36Are you saying I'm fired?
05:45Maybe Samantha wanted to talk to Dad alone.
05:48She isn't in some sort of bad situation with some boy, is she?
05:52Stop jumping to the worst-case scenarios, Pop.
05:55Samantha is interested in a lot more than boys anyways.
05:59So what does she want to talk to Smitty about?
06:05Look, if something's going on with Samantha, I won't be kept in the dark.
06:08Whatever it is, she will discuss it with both fathers.
06:12You seem to assume that I approve of this idea of you becoming a model.
06:16You haven't said you're opposed to it.
06:17You just brought it up.
06:18But you haven't said no right off.
06:21Because you're the reasonable one who's willing to listen.
06:24You respect my ability to make my own decisions.
06:27I'm also smart enough to know when you're trying to butter me up.
06:30Is it working?
06:33I do not appreciate this divide-in-Congress strategy.
06:36You know that your pops and I have a policy of making all-important family decisions together.
06:42I know, I know, but he doesn't listen to me.
06:46Not the way that he does to you.
06:48Samantha, you need to stop saying that.
06:52Your pops is perfectly reasonable.
06:56Only when you get him to be.
06:58Please, Dad.
07:00Modeling isn't something that I'd just love to do.
07:02It's something that would be good for me.
07:03Good for you? Seriously?
07:05Leaving your family behind?
07:08Who is going to keep an eye on you when you're jet-setting to Paris and Milan?
07:14Your pops and I, we can't just drop everything and be there.
07:17We have jobs here and responsibilities.
07:19I'll probably be here most of the time anyways.
07:22If I have to head to New York for work, it's no big deal.
07:26It's just a train ride.
07:31Please, take my sight on this.
07:42I tried to talk about coming down here, but it didn't work.
07:46It did not.
07:47So, Samantha, fill me in on what I missed.
07:50The floor is yours.
07:55There must be some mistake.
08:01I apologize profusely, Danny.
08:05Rotten timey, but I need to take this call, and I'll be right back.
08:17I don't know, Bill.
08:19The way I've been treated here...
08:21No, no, sweetheart.
08:22I assure you today is going to be different.
08:26Okay?
08:27What is this?
08:52Hello, Taylor.
08:53Hi, Taylor.
08:54Good to see you again.
08:55Mr. Hamilton.
08:56Always good to see you.
08:57What can I get for you?
09:00I'd like the grilled branzino, please.
09:02And I'd like the chicken...
09:04Excuse me.
09:06Yes, sir.
09:08You know, I'm going to be a little more old-fashioned tailor
09:12and order for my lovely wife as well.
09:15She'll have...
09:16The chicken Caesar salad.
09:19One chicken Caesar and one branzino, please.
09:23Good to see you, Mr. Hamilton.
09:28See?
09:29We're being served, just like I said we would.
09:31You're being served.
09:32Listen, baby.
09:33Baby steps, like I said.
09:35Okay?
09:36By the time this lunch is over, you're going to feel right at home here.
09:40Okay?
09:43I understand you're surprised we've decided to let you go.
09:47I'm baffled.
09:49I've fulfilled my board responsibilities.
09:51I haven't missed a single meeting.
09:53I've taken part in several committees.
09:55I've fulfilled my give-or-get obligations.
09:57I know.
09:58And your diligence is the reason why it was difficult for the board to make this decision.
10:02But in the end, the vote to remove you is unanimous.
10:08But why?
10:09There's a clause in the bylaws that states your position as board member is subject to you behaving in a
10:15manner that's befitting our ideals.
10:18Sort of like a morals clause.
10:21And unfortunately, your recent behavior has been unacceptable.
10:32I never thought I'd say this, but thank God for a fashion show.
10:36It gave Dani a sense of purpose she hasn't had since her marriage ended.
10:40And the work.
10:42Having to keep track of all those details kept Dani's mind occupied and productive.
10:49Are you saying spreadsheets have healing powers?
10:53For Dani, they just might.
10:54She made a lot of money for First Gen.
10:57Yes, she did.
10:58And by doing good for others, she did right for herself.
11:02It's like I always say, giving service to others serves you too.
11:07One of the Dupree family mottos.
11:10You can smile all you like.
11:12But it doesn't make it any less true.
11:14Now, hopefully if Dani can stay on this path, she can finally move on from Bill.
11:24Here's to the first of many wonderful lunches that you're going to have here.
11:30Don't.
11:31They probably frown on kissing at lunch.
11:34Besides, I'm not sure we should have any PDA in enemy territory.
11:38Oh, come on, babe.
11:39That's nonsense.
11:40Look, we need to stake our claim on this club, okay?
11:42And even if we did get kicked out for immoral behavior, at least we'll have fun first.
11:55I don't understand.
11:58My behavior at the fashion show was completely appropriate.
12:02We reached our decision based on an earlier incident.
12:05One was generated a significant amount of negative publicity.
12:10This is about Bill and Haley's wedding.
12:13First-gen board members are supposed to be role models for the youth we help.
12:17Your attempt to shoot your ex-husband and his new wife was hardly role model behavior.
12:24I didn't attempt to shoot anyone.
12:26I'm not going to argue semantics.
12:28The world saw what was on that video.
12:31You brandished a loaded weapon at a public gathering and fired it.
12:36Someone could have been hurt or killed.
12:38Well, the wedding happened weeks ago.
12:40Why did it take the board so long to fire me?
12:43We knew you put a lot of effort into that fashion show and wanted to allow you to see it
12:49through.
12:50Like I said, we wanted your service to end well for you.
12:55End well for you, you mean.
12:58I know how much that fashion show made for first-gen.
13:01And you let me work my ass off all the while knowing you were going to kick me off the
13:04board?
13:06So much for behavior unbecoming.
13:09You wanted to squeeze everything you could out of me before unceremoniously dumping me.
13:15If anyone is a lousy role model, Hannah, it's you.
13:21Chelsea started modeling when she was a teenager, just like Great Aunt Danny.
13:26It's sort of like a pre-family business.
13:29Like politics, only way more fun.
13:32Modeling isn't just fun and games and looking pretty.
13:35It's full of auditions and rejections.
13:38And I understand that.
13:40And the competition, Samantha.
13:42Do you have any idea how many young women want to model?
13:45But Chelsea could help me.
13:46The way that Great Aunt Danny mentored her.
13:49There's no way in hell I'm letting you drop out of school just like Aunt Danny did.
13:53I don't plan on leaving school.
13:56I'll do this part-time until I graduate.
13:59I know that it takes time to build a portfolio and a modeling resume.
14:03What about college?
14:04That's still the plan.
14:06When I'm old and ready to move on, like Chelsea did with her designing.
14:11And you know how you're always honest about how important extracurriculars are
14:15on college applications?
14:18I bet nobody else has modeling as an extracurricular.
14:21She's got you there.
14:23This is not funny.
14:24And I can save up all the money that I make as a model to pay for college.
14:28Well, fortunately for you, that's not necessary.
14:32Your dad and I can well afford to pay for your higher education.
14:35Okay, sure.
14:36But I could still use my own money.
14:40Samantha, I'm not letting you throw away your future on some childish whim.
14:49I knew you'd be this way.
14:52But I'm going to do this with or without your approval.
15:16Vanny, what's wrong?
15:19Did you know?
15:21Is that why you're here?
15:22To pick up the pieces?
15:24I'm here because I have a manicure appointment and pick up what pieces?
15:27Don't give me that.
15:28There is no way the board would have done this without checking with you first.
15:32Not when most of the funding for First Gen comes from the Dupree Heritage Foundation.
15:36Okay, I have no idea what you're talking about.
15:38You know, Mom, I know that you don't approve of half of what I do,
15:42but I never thought you would think I deserve to be kicked off the board.
15:45Danny, calm down and tell me what's happened.
15:48You really don't know.
15:50No, and I won't until you tell me.
15:53I came here for what I thought was a routine meeting with Hannah about First Gen.
15:59And it wasn't, I take it?
16:01She told me I'd been removed from the board because of what I did at Bill's wedding.
16:07That my behavior was unbecoming for a board member,
16:10but that they waited to tell me until after the finish of the fashion show.
16:15They wanted the money they knew you were going to raise.
16:19If the board sincerely thought your image was so tarnished it would harm their organization,
16:25they should have let you go immediately, which they did not do.
16:28Which means it really wasn't an issue.
16:31I'll take care of this.
16:32Mom.
16:32I will have you back on that board before the end of the day.
16:36Don't.
16:37I don't, I don't want to be any place where my colleagues treat me that way.
16:43Okay, fine.
16:47They don't deserve you anyway.
16:50I'm getting used to folks not deserving me.
16:55Baby, I don't want you to feel badly about what they've done.
17:00I can't help it.
17:02Well, I can.
17:04So I don't want you to waste another minute worrying about it.
17:08Okay.
17:10I can't believe I just witnessed Danny Dupree being kicked off the board of a charity.
17:16And in front of witnesses?
17:18Feels good not being the only outcast in this country club.
17:21Hey, hey, what are you talking about?
17:22You're the farthest thing from an outcast, okay?
17:25You have a husband that will give you the world.
17:28Thank you so much for this wonderful, unexpectedly romantic date.
17:35You know, I don't give a damn what anybody thinks.
17:37I'm going to kiss my husband again in the middle of this country club.
17:41Mm-hmm.
17:42For me.
17:42Mm-hmm.
17:44Oh, another one.
17:45Mm-hmm.
17:45I like that.
17:48I knew Pop would say no.
17:50It's like he lives to crush my dreams.
17:52It's a pretty sudden dream, you have to admit.
17:55Stop taking his side.
17:56You know I'm always on your side.
18:01I have to admit, I don't understand why you want to be a model.
18:04Having your picture taken all the time is my idea of hell.
18:08That's because your drip is so basic.
18:11If I could have my wish, I would erase that picture of me.
18:14All the negative comments on the internet and all the memories at that school.
18:21Like I said, people have mad short attention spans.
18:25Something else will happen and then they'll be obsessing over whatever that is.
18:30In an ideal world, that something would be my first magazine cover.
18:38We're living proof that being siblings, we don't have to be the same.
18:42You want to be famous while I just want everybody to forget I exist.
18:50You think I was too hard on Samantha?
18:53I know that you believe that modeling isn't what's best for her.
18:58But it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
19:01It's not like Samantha's going to go right to booking magazine covers or to Paris Fashion Week.
19:07I'm sure that's what she thinks.
19:09But we can temper her expectations.
19:11We let her take a few local jobs.
19:13And if anything is the least bit inappropriate, we veto it.
19:18Look at you, being all reasonable.
19:21Like the kids say, I am the more reasonable parent.
19:24They don't say that.
19:27Do they say that?
19:28And we would not be the only adults looking after her.
19:32Like Samantha was saying, Chelsea can mentor her.
19:35And I'm sure that Chelsea would never let anything happen to our girl.
19:38You know if we give Samantha an inch, she'll take a whole mile.
19:42Yeah.
19:44Is there something about this idea in particular that's bothering you?
19:48The fact that modeling is so public, that it might affect your image if you decide to run for president?
19:54That has nothing to do with it.
19:56I just think you're a bit naive.
19:58For example, would Samantha turn down a modeling gig to study for a math test?
20:04Yes.
20:05If we make getting good grades a condition of modeling, yes.
20:11Look, I know we're the parents.
20:14And I know it's our job to sometimes say no.
20:18But I want you to consider saying yes to this one.
20:41Are you free?
20:44There's something I need to discuss.
20:56Looks like Martin's in a bad mood, as usual.
20:59Danny really does seem to be holding court today.
21:02I wonder who else is going to get an audience from the former Queen Bee.
21:07Every last Dupree, I hope.
21:09I want all of them to see us happy and in love and enjoying the hell out of our country
21:15club membership.
21:18I hope you're coming with good news.
21:20I could use some right now.
21:22Sorry, I came for advice.
21:24Well, you might have come to the wrong place.
21:27I feel like I make nothing but mistakes lately.
21:29Well, this is definitely in your wheelhouse.
21:33Modeling.
21:35Go on.
21:37After Samantha's little moment at the fashion show, that's all she could talk about.
21:42I'm glad she enjoyed it.
21:44Samantha did a great job.
21:45Girls are natural.
21:47Unfortunately, she thinks so too.
21:49And now she wants to model like you and Chelsea.
21:52I didn't realize she took the experience that seriously.
21:57Well, she did.
22:00And that's why I've come to ask, what do you think of the idea?
22:06I think we all got a little salty.
22:09No, we all didn't.
22:10You were cool and reasonable and he was his usual overreacting self.
22:15He has his reasons, Samantha.
22:18Your father being in the public eye puts all of us under a bit more scrutiny.
22:23Something that might normally fly below the radar might end up on the news if you or your brother do
22:28them.
22:30So what if it does?
22:31There's nothing wrong with being a model.
22:34Maybe not.
22:36But you modeling is a change.
22:39And sometimes your father doesn't like change.
22:44Remember how worried he was when I was going to go back to work, but eventually he came around.
22:49He never seems to come around when it's about things that are important to me.
22:54Dad, it does seem unfair that you and Samantha have to walk around on eggshells to make Pop feel comfortable.
23:01Why isn't it ever the other way around?
23:07Respecting someone's feelings is important when you're in a relationship.
23:11When you're at odds with somebody, it never hurts to see things from their point of view.
23:15It does when it's all their point of view all the time.
23:18It hurts hard when they're standing in between you and something that means more to you than anything.
23:23And they always win because they're in charge.
23:27It feels like Pop doesn't even care how much this hurts.
23:49Somebody chipped one of your new nails?
23:51I didn't get them done.
23:52I'm so mad.
23:54I ran into Danny at the club.
23:56What's she done now?
23:58Not a damn thing.
23:59This time, she's been done, too.
24:02By Bill?
24:03That new wife of his?
24:05It is the first-gen grant organization.
24:08Hannah called a meeting with Danny just to kick her off the board.
24:12Why, for God's sake?
24:14They claim that incident at the wedding disqualifies her, and she's no longer a role model.
24:21Oh, this stinks to high heavens.
24:23And it's incredibly stupid.
24:25Not only did they lose a real asset, they've gotten on the wrong side of Anita Dupree.
24:31You're damn right they have.
24:33How could an organization we've supported treat a board member so shabbily, let alone a member of our own family?
24:39This couldn't happen at a worse possible time for Danny.
24:42I hope it doesn't ruin the progress she's been making.
24:46Everybody will know she's no longer on that board, and they'll wonder why.
24:51Other organizations she's affiliated with might decide to kick her off their boards, too.
24:56We've seen what happens when Danny feels unmoored.
25:00We can't let her get back to that place.
25:02We won't.
25:06And I have a plan to make sure that doesn't happen.
25:15Well, modeling's not easy, no matter what Samantha thinks.
25:18But it can be very rewarding and extremely fulfilling, especially if a model has a good team behind her.
25:25I'm sure that's true for an adult, but Samantha's only 16.
25:29I was only a year older when I started modeling.
25:32So was Chelsea.
25:33Most successful models began their careers when they were teenagers.
25:37No offense on Danny, but the thought of Samantha being immersed into this world at this age is terrifying.
25:44And not only the stories about men preying on models, and not to mention all the parties.
25:50Well, that is why a good manager is essential.
25:53Someone who can go to every photo shoot, make sure nothing inappropriate happens,
25:58and someone who can look out for her, make sure she's not hanging out with the wrong people or going
26:02down the wrong path.
26:03That should be my and Smitty's job.
26:05Of course.
26:06And a good manager would work with Samantha's parents.
26:10It sounds like you think we should let Samantha do it.
26:12That's up to you and Smitty.
26:14But I will ask you this.
26:17How old were you when you told your parents you wanted to follow in your granddad's footsteps?
26:22That's different.
26:23I mean, in modeling, Samantha would be constantly judged for her appearance.
26:29It's more personal and more damaging.
26:32Come on, Smarty Marty.
26:34In politics, every word you say, every move you make, every decision you put your name on is under a
26:41microscope.
26:42And, okay, it's not like modeling where you have to fit into someone's beauty idea, but you're out there towing
26:49the line and making decisions based on the expectations of donors and voters.
26:55That's all true.
26:56But I had time to grow into that.
26:59Because your parents and grands gave you the opportunity to go for it.
27:06She's my baby.
27:07Don't I know it.
27:09And now you are getting the tiniest taste of what your parents must have felt like when you told them
27:14about the path you wanted to go down, Martin.
27:17Not only would every soundbite possibly end your career, but it could leave you targeted.
27:23No parent wants to carry that kind of fear for their child.
27:27And they never tried to stop me.
27:30But they guarded you in ways seen and unseen, believe me.
27:36Now you get to decide whether you want to dim your little girl's light, or whether you want to show
27:41her, while making sure that she avoids certain pitfalls.
27:46That she can shine bright and go after what she wants.
27:53Come on in, Hannah.
27:55Lovely to see you as always, Anita.
28:00I didn't realize Vernon would be joining us.
28:03That's even better.
28:06Now we can really get some business done.
28:10Vernon, there are some upcoming projects on First Gen's calendar that could really use your input.
28:16We've got a lot to talk about.
28:20No, we don't.
28:23Did you really think we wouldn't find out that you kicked Dani off the board?
28:28No, I assumed that she would tell you.
28:33Vernon, I trust that you understand why the board had no choice but to make what was a very difficult
28:38decision for us.
28:40We also know that there's a proper way in which to do these things.
28:44And it's not shamelessly using a board member and then removing them from their position.
28:53When you run a community service organization, you have to act when a board member compromises a charity's image.
29:02We couldn't agree more.
29:07Which is why we're getting rid of you.
29:26Samantha, can we talk?
29:29I don't like the way we left things.
29:32I don't either.
29:35I talked to your dad and he encouraged me to be more reasonable.
29:40To think about things from your point of view.
29:43He told me the same thing.
29:47So, I spoke to Aunt Dani to learn more about modeling.
29:52So, did you change your mind?
29:55I'm so very proud of you, Samantha.
29:58Samantha, you are talented, smart, and a great sister to Tyrell.
30:06Although I do think you're Tyrell, you distract Pop while I talk to Dad at Neet's work.
30:12So, what did Auntie Dani say?
30:15That it's up to me and your dad to do what's best for you.
30:19And as much as I want to support you in all your...
30:24I can't agree to you being a model.
30:27Why not?
30:29I get good grades.
30:31I never get in any sort of trouble.
30:33But all you ever do is say no to me.
30:36That's just not true.
30:38You won't let me date.
30:40You won't let me model.
30:41Tyrell gets to do whatever he wants, but not me.
30:45Is it because I'm a girl?
30:47Or is it that you just don't trust me?
30:54This has nothing to do with you being a girl.
30:57Then how come Tyrell gets to do what he wants?
30:59Because Tyrell wants to join the chess club.
31:02Now, if you want to join the chess club, by all means, you have my blessing.
31:05Or you can participate in other school activities.
31:09Maybe you can put your skills at argument to use on the debate team.
31:14Treating me trying to stand up for myself as a joke shows just how little you respect me.
31:19I just don't want you to be put in situations where you're at risk.
31:24I trust you.
31:26But everyone is not worthy of that trust.
31:29Even people who seem nice have a dark side.
31:33Very dark.
31:34And I don't want you to be hurt.
31:36I just want the best for you.
31:38And that's why I can't allow you to be a model.
31:44I understand.
31:56I assume you overheard.
31:59I did.
32:01And you don't approve of my decision?
32:04I just worry that if we keep saying no to Samantha, eventually she's going to rebel.
32:23Hey, Chelsea.
32:24I spoke to my fathers.
32:28And they didn't forbid me to model, so I'm going for it.
32:34I look up to you so much, Chelsea, and I know that you can teach me everything I need to
32:38know about being professional.
32:40Will you be my manager?
32:43Thank you so much.
32:46When can we get started?
32:51Effective immediately, First Gen will no longer be under the umbrella of the Dupree Heritage Foundation.
32:58We find that you are not role models for the other organizations in the community.
33:04So, there goes most of your financing.
33:07I can't believe you'd be so petty, Anita.
33:10I prefer to call it justice.
33:13You're only going to hurt the students who won't be able to afford college without the scholarships First Gen provides.
33:20Vernon, you cannot allow this to happen.
33:23Vernon is not going to save you.
33:26But fortunately, we are going to save those students.
33:30The Dupree Heritage Foundation will launch a brand new charity which will provide scholarships to first-generation college students.
33:38Oh, which is exactly what First Gen does, doesn't it?
33:43You're killing my charity to start an identical one?
33:48Killing is such a harsh term, Anna.
33:51No, no, I think it's appropriate.
33:54Our charity will be new and improved and free of the deadwood of you and the First Gen board.
34:01And Dani will chair our organization.
34:04She has so many brilliant ideas.
34:07But of course, you wouldn't know that because you didn't bother to listen, did you?
34:12So, you'll just have to watch and see like everyone else.
34:17And if First Gen does indeed go under, maybe you can beg Dani for a job at the new charity
34:25and hope that she is more merciful than I would be.
34:36So, uh, we were sitting over there trying to mind our own business.
34:41Then try harder.
34:42But you were so loud, we couldn't help overhearing.
34:45Dani, I'm really sorry that you got kicked off that board.
34:48I know how those little socialite activities of yours helped to fill your days.
34:52First Gen was not a socialite activity.
34:55It mattered.
34:56No, I guess it's going to have to keep mattering without you.
35:01And now that you can't live through Chelsea, I'd shudder to think what you're going to do with all your
35:05days.
35:05I sincerely hope that whatever activity that you pick, it doesn't involve firearms.
35:12Believe it or not, I feel bad for you, Dani.
35:15I know how important it is for you to lord your due pre-privilege over everyone at this club.
35:20And so it must have been even more humiliating getting dumped on what you consider to be your turf.
35:28It's made me realize that you and I aren't so different after all.
35:31Bill, I think your bride's brain is broken.
35:33You better take her on home.
35:34Well, I mean it.
35:35We've both been rejected and snubbed from this club.
35:39And I'm sorry that now you're going to feel the same insecurity I felt every time I walk through these
35:44doors wondering if people are talking about you behind your back, looking down on you.
35:51You and I don't have a damn thing in common, Hayley.
35:57You have to cling to my former husband to avoid being a pariah.
36:02I'm a Dupree.
36:03I don't have to cling to anything to matter.
36:07What happened today was a minor setback.
36:10And I already have a plan to get back on top.
36:39I don't have a plan to get back on top.
36:42I don't have a plan.
36:46I'm sorry.
