Today’s work, [Constant Flux], was written based on the core theories of the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus: "Panta Rhei" (Everything Flows) and the "Unity of Opposites."
Heraclitus famously stated, "We cannot step into the same river twice." The river continues to flow, and we, who step into it, also change in every passing moment. I have visualized this philosophical reflection through the symbol of "cherry blossoms." The moment a cherry blossom is in full bloom is also the very moment it begins to fall; the path, transformed every second by drifting petals, represents the ceaseless flow of time. These conflicting elements collide and blend within a single frame, creating the paradoxical value of "unchanging beauty within that which constantly changes."
The line "The river beneath devours me and breathes me out again" sings of how even the self is not a fixed entity but exists within the flow. The declaration "I am the river, the fire, and the constant change" reflects the Muse, who does not fear change but embraces the stream to become the subject of change herself.
The "me" of yesterday is already gone, and the "me" of today is also flowing in this very moment. Within this "state" that is radiant precisely because everything vanishes, I hope you enjoy a time of pleasant contemplation as you face the river of life.
