00:06a lot of you have never voted before, and a lot of you are just kind of getting interested in
00:10politics now. So I'm just making this so you all know because I didn't know this in like 2012.
00:16I know I'm one of those people who wasn't super interested in politics until after 2016. I was
00:22more interested in like the culture war and socio-political things. But I have grown to be
00:29more interested in real-world politics. The democratic debates have absolutely been a clown
00:34show, and I hope you've been entertained. But there is a thing that we can do that isn't just
00:39laughing at these clown shows, and that is actually voting. But in order to vote in the democratic
00:45primaries, in a lot of states you have to be registered as a democrat. In some states they
00:51have open primaries, but in a lot of states they are closed primaries. My state has a closed primary.
00:57And there's also deadlines. The deadline in New York, my state, is October 11th. That's like
01:05two weeks from now. You have to be a registered democrat by October 11th. So in the description
01:11down below I'm gonna leave a buttload of links for you to click if your state is an open or
01:15closed primary, what the deadlines are in your state to register as a democrat, and I hope
01:20that helps because I know that it's like weird and confusing. But yeah, that was just a PSA.
