00:27CW, New Orleans, by police, EMS, I cannot help you.
00:29There's a guy who's been shot.
00:31We need a man to enter right now.
00:32I can hear someone yelling for help.
00:34Yeah, yeah, it's the intersection of Bay Rock and Burgundy.
00:37Tell me exactly what happened.
00:39A man was shot.
00:43533, 523, we're 10.
00:48Please, please.
00:50Oh, my God, please.
00:53He's not breathing.
00:56He's covering the blood.
00:57He's full of blood, dude.
00:58Oh, my God.
00:59Oh, my God.
01:01What the fuck?
01:03Yeah!
01:03That's the shit.
01:04Freak.
01:06They're right behind.
01:08Oh, my God.
01:10Oh, my God.
01:13Oh, my God.
01:16Yeah.
01:18Oh, my God.
01:19Oh, my God.
01:20Oh, my God.
01:50It's kind of a nice little area, a little quirky area of the city.
01:53Like, they got, like, a lot of bars and everything, stay open all night, you know, right outside the French
01:58Quarter.
02:00I'm from New Orleans.
02:00I know the city, and we definitely don't get a lot of homicides in the neighborhood.
02:09What's up, bro?
02:10What do you got?
02:11Yeah, so your just eating's at the hospital, obviously.
02:16We got, looks to be about five, six casings on the grounds.
02:22Um, we have video.
02:25Oh, so what?
02:27Looks like you have a car coming up the wrong way for Gundy.
02:31Kids breaking into cars, or could you tell?
02:34I haven't watched the video yet.
02:35All right, I'm here, actually, so I'll be getting out, coming over there.
02:43I don't remember the last time I've been in this area where they had something happen like this.
02:50All crime scenes are different.
02:53It was quiet, I think, because of the area that it occurred in.
02:57When we're at a crime scene and the decedent's body is no longer there,
03:00it just makes it hard to figure out what actually happened.
03:03So we have to be thorough about what we pick up as evidence.
03:07Wow.
03:07Yeah, there's only a few casings, but, um, there's clothing, keys, and something else.
03:15But it all appears that it belongs to...
03:17To him, right?
03:18Yeah.
03:19You saw the video?
03:21No.
03:23We already had some footage from a neighbor.
03:25The first thing I want to do is look at it.
03:27This is the one.
03:29Oh.
03:32Now one goes by.
03:33You see them start walking up.
03:38I already see, like, there's a car coming up the one way,
03:40and we see some people outside the cars pulling on door handles,
03:43kind of checking cars to see what they can get into.
03:46The decedent comes out, and he kind of confronts them,
03:49trying to stop someone doing something that they saw that was wrong.
03:52And this guy, that's your decedent?
03:56Yeah.
03:56Defer the car?
03:58Okay, they shoot him.
03:59Who?
04:00Damn, then they hit him.
04:03It was extremely brutal.
04:05I felt like it was overkill.
04:07I mean, he was getting shot at the same time
04:09while he was being ran over with the car.
04:12His name is Mr. Brandon William Feeze.
04:17Brandon William is his middle name,
04:19and he is a white man.
04:22Okay.
04:23Got it.
04:25Anytime they hit somebody with a car,
04:27there's damage to the car,
04:29that car is going to get burned, man.
04:324161, can you notify homicide of any vehicle fires
04:35citywide between 1 a.m. and current, present time?
04:44A witness blitz right down here.
04:48Yeah, right there.
04:55Sorry I had to come to you this early.
04:57Um, so sorry for what happened.
05:01So you both were sitting here?
05:03Um, there was a car coming up the wrong way
05:07on one-way street with their lights off.
05:09Mm-hmm.
05:10And they had kind of, like, stopped
05:12and, like, said something.
05:14And he was like, oh, no, you know, that's...
05:17You don't remember what was said
05:19or anything like that?
05:20No, I didn't actually even hear any of it.
05:23Okay.
05:23Do you remember, like, what kind of car they were in
05:25or what color it was?
05:26I don't feel like it was an SUV.
05:28Okay.
05:28It was a sedan and a dark color.
05:31Okay.
05:31That's about all I got.
05:32Okay.
05:32Sorry.
05:33All right.
05:35These are definitely the type of cases
05:36that will stick to you.
05:38Mister was someone who was a good Samaritan,
05:40wasn't even from here.
05:42He was a character, you know.
05:43He joked around a lot.
05:45And a retired military veteran,
05:48you know, he was just trying to intervene
05:49and stop someone that was doing something
05:51that anyone would think was wrong.
05:52And, uh, he ends up losing his life.
05:56Communication 4161.
05:594161.
05:59He's still crawling around right now.
06:02Uh, fire department went out on, uh,
06:04a black Pontiac GT at Cluitt
06:06and off Gallows overpass at, uh, 230.
06:10I'll be in.
06:1210-4.
06:13Yeah.
06:13That's, like, two minutes away.
06:17Once they tell me that a car was set on fire
06:19less than a mile away,
06:21I need to go straight there just to see the vehicle.
06:23I'm thinking that there's got to be the car.
06:26Anywhere, like, there's an overpass
06:28or something like that,
06:29people will burn cars there.
06:31So they have cover, you know, like, uh, concealment.
06:34You can easily just, like, bring the vehicle back there,
06:36burn it, and kind of just leave it.
06:39Because wherever there's, like, an overpass,
06:41no one will be outside.
06:43What is this, uh?
06:46They bring it back here, maybe?
06:50What the hell is...
06:51Oh, look.
06:53This is it right here.
06:57Ah.
06:58Yes.
07:00And it's not all the way burned.
07:08Well, bro, it's a good thing
07:09that amateurs are burning cars.
07:10You have to dance on this one.
07:12Man.
07:13Right.
07:15Door looks unlocked.
07:17Mm-hmm.
07:19Ooh, look at that.
07:20There's McDonald's.
07:21McDonald's receipts.
07:23Finding this car immediately after the crime scene,
07:26it is a huge break.
07:27Stuff like this doesn't happen often.
07:29Oh, yeah.
07:30Perfect.
07:30Perfect, perfect, perfect.
07:32Is there a license plate?
07:32No.
07:34The trunk looked like it was damaged.
07:36Looked like they were trying to pry it open
07:37at some point.
07:39Got the VIN number.
07:40The VIN number helps identify the vehicle
07:42by providing a make and model.
07:44It's a number that's really hard to change.
07:46So instead of looking for a license plate,
07:49I normally look for a VIN number,
07:50which helps identify the vehicle pretty quick.
07:53The taillights at least wrap around with that angle.
07:56Mm-hmm.
07:57It's not tinted.
07:59It's not tinted.
08:00Neither is this.
08:01Mm-hmm.
08:02I think this is it.
08:03Looks like it.
08:04Uh-huh.
08:06Knew it.
08:09You see prints?
08:10I really pretty.
08:11Oh, that is a handprint.
08:13Can you lift that?
08:15Yeah.
08:17Now I need to find out where this damn car came from.
08:20After Crime Lab processes the car,
08:22I'm going to have it towed back to NOPD headquarters,
08:25try to get a search warrant done on it
08:27as quickly as possible
08:28so I can collect the evidence inside
08:30and maybe go look at surveillance footage.
08:34To headquarters we go.
09:04Oh, someone sent me a letter.
09:05I don't know what the video looks like.
09:08Once the car was towed back to the evidence cage
09:10and off through the officer
09:12who lived a few blocks from the crime scene
09:13sent me surveillance footage
09:15of the perpetrators walking next to the car,
09:17hooded up, wearing masks.
09:22Looks like the car that was used was actually blue.
09:27I need to call Command Desk.
09:33Hey, this is Detective Stewart with Homicide, Unit 4161.
09:38Yeah, yeah, I know.
09:41So, yeah, can you please notify me
09:44if there's any other burn vehicles?
09:45That wasn't the car.
09:47So, yeah, looks like the car that I'm looking for now
09:49is blue.
09:50This one is gray.
09:52Yeah.
09:58Now that I know I've towed the wrong car,
10:01I'm feeling like I'm still at square one.
10:02So, I need to find this car and find it fast.
10:05I need to find this car.
10:44all right bro so i actually have a video that i want to show you this is going to be
10:50the car
10:50kind of slow riding and you can see like the color of it a little bit it's like a bluish
10:56kind
10:56of purple looking car and that definitely has like i see a hyundai emblem yeah i mean we could
11:01see if they got any color color left on it but i don't look like it nah not that i
11:09can tell
11:10no plate nope i don't see nothing i'm gonna look under here just to make sure though
11:19well let's see if we can get the number off the dashboard
11:23yep here it is oh that's sweet i'm hoping that once he runs the vent it comes back to a
11:28blue car
11:29like a blue hyundai but um if it doesn't then that means it's not the car and i'm back to
11:34square one
11:37what you got bro stolen what color is it blue hyundai oh that is it
11:45um hold on i'm about to pull up the item number real quick wait this thing is for today
11:51the 29th oh so they just reported it stolen yeah our auto theft detective learned that same vehicle
12:00had just been placed out stolen at the fifth district station which is in that same vicinity
12:04where that car was found now i'm going to call the fifth district because i need to find out about
12:09this
12:12okay so this this this only hit 6 p.m she steps outside her hyundai is gone she knows right
12:19off the
12:19bat her vehicle is stolen so she goes immediately to her cameras and observes that 11 48 p.m the
12:27perpetrators approach the the white chevrolet cruise which is the victim's sister's vehicle
12:31while the three subjects were working on that chevrolet cruise someone is like actively starting up
12:39her hyundai elantra which is in the driveway just out of the view of the camera that chevy
12:47cruise they leave like the doors open the inside is ransacked and then right after that you can see
12:51the elantra pulling off this morning the owner associated with that hyundai elantra comes into
12:57the station to report her vehicle was stolen were they um hooded up and masked up in that video too
13:03yeah okay thank you i appreciate that i might be hitting you up again all right all right well i'll
13:08be
13:23here so um moving pretty fast on this one found the uh the car that was seen that the perpetrators
13:30were in found out that they were actually breaking in the cars before the murder and they possibly stole
13:35this car like a few hours before the murder happened so once we get license plate reads it consists us
13:42with tracking a car now i'm going to head to the real time crime center to see where i can
13:46pick this
13:46vehicle up so i just need to keep kind of following like these little breadcrumbs and possibly i'll get
13:51like an idea maybe get like a picture of some footage of them with no mask on at some point
14:10i know where the car was stolen and there's only a few routes that it can take to get to
14:16the city so
14:17so i'm checking all those locations i'm just waiting on them to make a mistake so i can catch
14:22them without a mask on maybe at a gas station or a convenience store or something i'm just gonna um
14:30pretty much try and track this car for now the license plate readers tell me the exact time and
14:35location that the car is detected and a lot of them are hitting the new orleans east i'm already
14:39familiar with new orleans east because i live out there so i know a lot of those spots and everything
14:47boom there it is
14:51right after it's stolen it comes from charbonate makes that left on a saint claude
14:54it starts traveling like towards like it's going across the canal like to the other side
15:02and here it comes right here
15:08so i'm just jumping to this camera
15:13they're pulling into the gas station
15:22i'm just trying to see if i can catch them um at some point without face cover on maybe they
15:27you know let their guard down at some point went into a gas station or something
15:31yep so they come around and then back into a spot
15:36oh
15:45i don't think they get out
15:51damn that was too good to be true
15:55i feel like every detective has a strength my strength i think is reviewing surveillance footage
15:59and tracking cars if i find out that a car is involved i will sit there i will lose track
16:04of time
16:06i become obsessed with it you know i can track vehicles all over the city and i'll sit there for
16:11hours to do it
16:17oh yes where is this going at now
16:20at like three in the morning like an hour after the murder in new orleans east i noticed that the
16:25car comes up the wrong way on the opposite side of the street and is driving towards a gas station
16:30you couldn't see the gas station but i'm familiar because i live out there
16:34so i'm gonna just see how long they were there for see if i can figure that out
16:38if the car is in there
16:40this may be coming back up
16:45so here it is
16:46it stayed there for about three minutes hopefully i can get footage of them getting out of the car
16:53perfect
16:53it's a huge lead in the case i'm feeling really good about finding who the alleged perpetrator is
17:24definitely hit morrison
17:26oh yeah
17:26yeah i got them on morrison too
17:29they pulled into a gas station
17:31i'm telling you it seemed like they were they were riding around looking for
17:34somebody who like left their car running so they can jump in and they can take it
17:37hmm
17:39so this is the gas station when they came out here they cut through here
17:42i was like what the are they doing
17:46what time are we looking for here
17:47i think it's like three three or three a.m.
17:53hey how you doing man um who can i talk to about looking at some surveillance cameras
17:59okay yeah so i'm gonna look at cameras five
18:03and maybe eight right
18:04eight
18:06so they should come from the top right right if i'm looking at it right
18:09yeah they're gonna come straight this way and pull in
18:11they go right here
18:12hold on
18:14that's the car
18:15come on get out
18:16get out
18:17oh
18:18oh
18:19oh no face no mask oh
18:21oh
18:22who are you and you're gonna come in the store
18:25you can see like the damage to the windshield you can see the windshield is kind of smashed
18:29the license plate is visible
18:31and the driver gets out with no mask on
18:33oh that is beautiful that is beautiful bruh
18:37great clarity
18:38i'm like i got your ass now
18:41this is sweet
18:42i got some distinctive clothes to look for
18:44shoes
18:45yup shoes
18:47oh look at that
18:48yeah
18:52good to go
18:55here you go bruh
18:56okay
18:59thank y'all we got everything yeah
19:01appreciate it
19:01appreciate it
19:02you too thank you
19:04you too thank you
19:11this is great
19:12what are we doing with that
19:13that's the car
19:15that's the license plate
19:16it's still on it
19:16yeah
19:18bring it to the office
19:19and i'm sending a bolo out as soon as i get back to the office of this dude
19:23i want to check with other detectives other officers to see if they've dealt with this dude
19:27if they know him
19:28or
19:29give us a name
19:30beautiful shot of his face
19:32pants has some ugly stripe down the side that they be wearing now
19:36he has some shoes some nike shoes on
19:38it's perfect
19:53i wasn't his only brother because everybody here who joined in this memorial today was his brother or his sister
20:02he's kind of like the bratty little brother i never had a prankster a jokester he's brilliant and he has
20:10a very unique gift with helping people
20:14the first time i met him our neighborhood had flooded and so he came wading over in these white shrimp
20:21boots like hey y'all good y'all need any help
20:24he was just a very selfless person like anytime anybody needed any help you didn't even have to ask he
20:31was there
20:32he never had a problem standing up for what was right
20:35he would get food together and hand it out to the homeless he would
20:38he would buy them things that they needed he'd take them to dinner
20:42in addition to his military service he had his own organization
20:46and he would interview veterans
20:49and record for their legacy to be preserved
20:52and you know i have a lot of respect for that
20:55he would go to va hospitals and say who's in the worst condition who needs the most help
21:00and he would do a fundraiser for that soldier he was just that much of a hero
21:05and he carried that mentality everywhere
21:11he would 100 percent do the right thing no matter what
21:16the world has lost a wonderful person
21:40i tracked this car from here all the way to um the 7800 block of bass street which is all
21:47the way in little woods down haynes boulevard
21:49and the car stays there for about an hour and a half
21:51the image on the left is the image of the guy who got out the blue car
21:56and the image on the right is from an investigation that the 8th district was doing previously
22:01um you can see just the same guy same facial features chin hair eyebrows nose and everything
22:07so we we did confirm that that's um cory boyd
22:12donnie williard our newest detective he came over and he was like oh yeah i know that dude
22:16he told me it was cory boyd and i found out that he was previously arrested in the 8th district
22:22so i'm guessing he goes to burn a car two blocks up from where he lives at
22:27right now we have a unit called v cape
22:29violent crime abatement investigation team
22:32they're sitting on a house where he lives
22:34so hopefully we can tie them down to a house
22:37it's gonna be a search warrant
22:38yeah
22:39they're gonna try and take him down and get him in custody
22:42so i can be able to question him from there
22:43he's definitely the driver because i tracked the car from the crime scene
22:47but um i know that there's two more people
22:50or maybe even three more people who are involved
22:52you can see these guys are just casually walking
22:54the big dude you see what he looked like
22:57looked like a damn lineman so
22:59i want to head to rtcc though and uh
23:01and make sure i get all that video downloaded today
23:04i'm hoping that i can get video that will show
23:07all of the perpetrators if any of them
23:09now i'm gonna head to the real-time crime center to see
23:12what possibly transpired before the homicide
23:15oh
23:17it is
23:1912 30
23:20on a wednesday
23:21and there's a second line
23:24passing around nlpd headquarters
23:26i love it
23:27why
23:27i don't know but guess what
23:29we can't move right now so
23:32a second line is just a party in the street
23:34you can have a second line for anything
23:35for a funeral for a child bird for a saint's victory
23:39super bowl
23:40second line is definitely a new orleans tradition
23:42if you see one you know that you're in new orleans
23:44bruh and this ain't new orleans bruh
23:58i have this really clear video of the person who was driving a car
24:01now i'm looking for more video
24:03maybe somebody got out somewhere else where i can get another description of another person that was in a car
24:08i'm trying to see if i can find him close to the homicide i need something closer
24:17so this is a car coming from being stolen
24:19i would love to catch them like going into a gas station before the homicide that would be huge
24:24um i already have him at one after but like before would be like
24:27then i can say that he was he was there when the homicide happened
24:33what's up bro
24:34hey bro honestly i don't think
24:37yeah
24:38you don't think so
24:39yep but that that's his ig right there
24:42that i sent you
24:43all right so he posted this photo
24:45hmm
24:47three hours ago
24:49yep you see him with the gun
24:50yeah
24:52so he got a gun in his hand and
24:54damn does this dude have on the same clothes
24:56that he wore the other night
24:59if he's out there like this i don't think he realized that
25:02anybody's even on to him
25:04at this point so
25:05which is good
25:06that's how i wanted to stay
25:37chuck
25:39yo what up bro
25:41hey what's up mo how you been
25:42i'm good bro
25:43i was calling about your case man i saw what you put out
25:46you saw the video
25:47yeah i saw the video
25:49okay
25:49i mean even though it's kind of grainy
25:50that person got a very distinctive walk
25:53mm-hmm
25:53she resembles a suspect i had worked in several cases
25:56okay
25:57i think that's actually going to be a female
25:59it goes by the name of ronisha gray
26:02wow
26:03damn
26:04yeah yeah ronisha gray
26:06tabby said stocky
26:08uh she always dresses up in like you know the latest men's fashion
26:11i've worked several cases with her

27:52towards bourbon she went to bourbon street i do know that they have very good video on bourbon
27:58street and if someone does go on bourbon street that we will find them let's see there's a ball

30:12so if you're gonna identify her for me oh yeah tomorrow man i'm gonna be around moving around
30:16like around uh probably like around 11. 11 all right perfect all right appreciate it bro i'm hoping
30:23that chug gets to the office and then he just from his knowledge and experience of dealing with this
30:28person that he can immediately identify her as who we thought she was
30:38so
30:45so
30:46so
31:09What's up, bruh?
31:10What's up, man?
31:11Doing all right?
31:11My hero.
31:12Appreciate you, bro.
31:14Been all right, huh?
31:14Yeah, you know, making it.
31:17How you been, bruh?
31:17Good, man, just working.
31:19Yeah.
31:19What you got, man?
31:21Um, let's see.
31:25So you'll see?
31:28Yeah.
31:29OK, those are the clothes I saw on the surveillance footage.
31:32Mm-hmm.
31:35All right, let me sit down and mess with it a little.
31:37Mm-hmm. You want to sit down?
31:38Yeah, yeah.
31:39I'm going to pause it and stuff.
31:51All right, judging by the walk, the build, and, uh, what I can see of her face, I would
31:57say that's, that's, uh, Renisha Gray.
32:00I investigated, uh, at least two armed robberies with her over the past four years.
32:05Watched countless surveillance footage.
32:07She goes by the street name of Bando.
32:09So, I mean, absolutely.
32:10OK, cool.
32:11All right.
32:12Perfect, bro.
32:12I appreciate it.
32:14It made both of us very excited about getting Renisha off the street, finally.
32:21Mm-hmm.
32:21That's, that's Renisha.
32:22Yeah, I actually have.
32:24So here's the video.
32:25Um, I don't know if you've seen the video, um, of the actual murder, but at this point,
32:32Renisha actually ran and got into the car.
32:34So she wasn't even out of the car when the shooting happened.
32:39So, he's, so you'll see he's trying to get in the car, but then, bam, he shoots him, boom, boom,
32:46boom, boom.
32:46Oh, oh, oh, multiple shots.
32:47Oh, then they ran him over.
32:49Then he runs up and finishes him off.
32:51He hits him again in the head.
32:52Boom.
32:53Hmm.
32:53Then he finally gets in the car, and then they speed off.
32:57Then 20, 20 to 30 minutes later, she's dropped off at Canal Street where she goes to Bourbon.
33:02Same clothes.
33:03Same clothes.
33:04Yep.
33:04Yeah.
33:05That's probably one of the, um, most senseless ones I've seen in a while.
33:10Mm-hmm.
33:12At the time, they were definitely coming up on his car.
33:15So I think Mister felt like he was protecting his property, and, uh, he ends up losing his life.
33:20This shouldn't have happened, but now it's all coming together.
33:23And I'm confident with all the, uh, information that I have.
33:27What I do know from just dealing with Bando over the years, they, um, she has a relationship
33:34with Boyd.
33:34Um, they've actually been on Instagram together.
33:36Mm-hmm.
33:37Um, not quite sure if they're related at this point.
33:41Mm-hmm.
33:41Um, but they, but they definitely, you know, hang out.
33:44Right.
33:44Okay.
33:44Okay.
33:45Because I have Renisha Gray identified, and I also have Corey Boyd identified.
33:51Now I'm able to put together an arrest warrant for both of them.
33:54The third suspect is a shooter.
33:56He's a smaller person, and we have no leads on him yet.
34:00Yeah, well, she'll have a, uh, she'll have an arrest warrant out for her today.
34:03Okay.
34:04So.
34:04All right.
34:05Well, let me know if there's anything else I can do.
34:07Okay.
34:07All right.
34:07Appreciate it, bro.
34:08All right.
34:35Yo, what up, bro?
34:43Oh, really?
34:45Renisha, they got Renisha Gray in custody.
34:48Where?
34:49Okay.
34:49So, um, yeah, where was he?
34:54Okay.
34:55In Lafayette.
34:57So, um, all right.
34:59Perfect.
34:59Um, listen.
35:00So, uh, let me tell you what I need then.
35:03Uh, can you take her cell phone?
35:05Because I'm going to need that.
35:07Um, and that's pretty much it.
35:08Was anybody else, like, with her?
35:11Corey?
35:12Yeah, it was Corey.
35:13Okay.
35:14No Corey?
35:16Okay.
35:17All right.
35:19It's extremely good news that she was captured, but we still have a lot of work to do with this
35:24case.
35:25Now I need, now I need Corey Boyd.
35:28Uh, once we get Corey Boyd, then I'm real close to finding out who the shooter is.
35:32Yeah.
35:32But I do need to talk to her.
35:35So, that's cool.
35:36Perfect.
35:36One down.
35:37That's, that's huge.
35:41I'm feeling very excited because I have two possible, uh, suspects.
35:44Like, and I have a really good video of both of them, but I still have one more person out
35:49there that I need to find.
35:51And we will find them.
35:52One, two, three!
35:54One, two, three!
35:55One, two...
36:10One, two, three!
36:30uh area surveillance observed two subjects um dealing on camera when it made it stop so we
36:36put him in handcuffs mirandize him and then okay and cory did he tell y'all his name and everything
36:41or he once we got back to the station he told us okay all right perfect and we told him
36:45that
36:46the tickets will be coming and talk to him all right um can we go in through here all right
36:49cool
36:52he's in the interview room now
36:55all right
37:13i'm hoping that cory will just tell me what happened at night and who was with him that night
37:18because we'd only have the name of one person that was in the car with cory i don't know who
37:22the other
37:22person was all right have any advice in mind do you wish to speak to me
37:28i need a yes or no if you were to talk to me i'll explain everything to you
37:35i'm sorry let me talk to you all right perfect so i'm investigating a homicide that happened
37:40in a bywater area where a dude was hit by a car and shot all right you remember what happened
37:44at
37:45night and look let me tell you something say bro this this is we not gonna do all right because
37:51i
37:51knew he was so i need you to keep it a buck with me keep it real with me all
37:56right tell me what
37:59happened at night all right just be straight up with me so listen you agree to talk right
38:07so you telling me you wasn't there it's it's not that's not how you think we got here all right
38:13we got here dude i didn't just pull your name out of hat come on dude there's so much video
38:18and you're gonna sit up here and tell me you wasn't there when you was there
38:22i don't have to show you a video let me tell you i already have an arrest warrant for you
38:26so if you if you if you're gonna play that game you can play that game
38:30but if you i mean if you won't keep it real with me i'm giving you a chance to tell
38:35me what happened
38:43all right look i know your ammo i know what you do you breaking cards right i don't okay you
38:49don't
38:49do that but you said you were doing regular right so just explain to me what is what are you
38:54talking
38:54about like i guess i guess for who well i would yeah i got one of them i heard it
39:06for because
39:07she was she was like uh let her let her stop and get in the car real quick she was
39:12she was
39:12about to check her cup i guess she tried to check her cup so i came outside and it wasn't
39:19trying to
39:19approach her like fighting type and she used to like no she ain't she ain't about to do it
39:24like so boom you kept trying to approach her approach her so boom i just heard her sack go off
39:29on her side and all like i wound up a little bit that's when i wound up a little bit
39:35like the person
39:36ran in front of the car when he ran in front of the car like i was about to go
39:40fast i was about to go fast
39:41and then he just ran for the car and then i hit him and i stopped right there and then
39:45he wasn't moving
39:46so i was like i was like i was like i just went around and i left my door and
39:50i didn't do one
39:51and that was out there okay when you said um she tried to get a call who is she
40:00probably tell me tell me who all of you what about renisha
40:09what's she there was she there you don't know okay who was the uh who was the other person who
40:25was
40:27i don't know you ain't gonna say no names so you're gonna take that ride by yourself
40:35all right who burned the car you don't know so it'll just burn like near your house but you don't
40:44know
40:44who did it all right you gonna do that that's that's all good you good all right we're gonna
40:55get somebody to take you take you out it is frustrating that he didn't tell me who the shooter
41:01was but i think that in other ways i'll figure it out but it was a win because he did
41:07tell me his role
41:08in the homicide that was just him punching the table yeah he had missed uh driving a car like i
41:24knew yeah he had missed her hitting him with the car i mean the video shows it i mean this
41:29dude was
41:29being shot at the same time he accelerated and just hit him with the car so he had missed his
41:36role so
41:37um that's good that works
41:56appreciate y'all working it was good work working hard today you know
42:01that was probably one of the easiest interviews i've ever had honestly
42:20we lost a really good person
42:24after talking to the family and everything i learned that mr he was a character you know he joked around
42:29a lot he loved his mom and he was out here trying to stop someone doing something that was wrong
42:35and then his life gets taken so i mean that affects everyone not just family but the whole community
42:43i'm from new orleans in new orleans we look out for one another
