00:00Yes, it's a very good day for Plaid Cymru, seemingly. We've had a lot of people come out to vote
00:04for us.
00:04We've seen a lot of votes coming over from many of the other parties because people have been convinced by
00:10our offer.
00:11They like what we have put forward in the manifesto, which is always a positive thing.
00:16How it'll go here, we don't know. They're still counting the votes, so time will tell.
00:21You know, it seems like we're going to have three seats here, which is a really, really good result in
00:27any constituency.
00:28If we're going to have four seats, well, that's an astounding result.
00:32So, you know, we can't go ahead of ourselves, we can't speculate too much, but it's looking good, certainly.
00:38It's been a positive campaign seeing people say, yeah, we like you, we're coming over in places like Llaned Lois,
00:44in places like Newtown, in places like Cross-Llanach Rigog, places that we've not been strong before,
00:49but the results today show that we are winning them over one by one.
00:53It'll depend on them. If they want to make the Synod work, if they are serious about representing the people
00:59of Gwynedd Maldwyn
01:00and making sure that this Synod works for them, then we will work with anybody who's willing to improve the
01:06outcomes of people's lives here in Gwynedd Maldwyn.
01:10However, we will not form a coalition or work with them at the government level in any way because they
01:15are diametrically opposed to us.
01:17But on local issues, it's up to them to see if they can deliver for us.
01:20We know that we can because we've got the ideas and we will work with the people of Gwynedd Maldwyn.
