French prosecutors escalated their probe into Elon Musk and X, investigating allegations tied to algorithm manipulation, Grok content, deepfakes, and illegal material.

00:07and X into a criminal probe, according to CNBC.
00:10French authorities issued a summons to Musk and former ex-CEO Linda Yaccarino for April 20th,
00:17but both declined to appear for questioning.
00:20The investigation began after a French lawmaker requested a probe in early 2025
00:25over allegations that X manipulated algorithms to influence French politics.
00:30Authorities are also investigating claims that Musk and X knowingly allowed users of the AI chatbot Grok
00:37to create and spread Holocaust denial content and non-consensual sexually explicit deepfake images on X.
00:44French authorities raided X's Paris office in February.
