Officers are being examined by watchdogs over their handling of complaints linked to Mohamed Al Fayed as part of a wider ongoing investigation into historic allegations.

00:05Muhammad al-Fayed as watchdogs examine potential misconduct. The Independent Office for Police
00:11Conduct has launched a probe into one serving officer and four former officers. It follows
00:16more than 400 allegations of sexual abuse made against al-Fayed spanning decades. The MET says
00:23it's assisting the investigation which remains ongoing and no misconduct findings have yet been
00:29made. The serving of notices does not automatically mean disciplinary action will follow according to
00:35officials involved. Police say their wider investigation into enablers of al-Fayed remains
00:42active across London.
