00:00Would you want to go back to high school? I'm not talking football games and homecoming. I'm
00:03talking calculus tests and chemistry. If you're shaking your head no, I totally get it, which is
00:09why it's baffling that a 28-year-old mom would willingly choose to swindle her way back into the
00:15classroom. Casey Klassen, who's pushing 30, allegedly claimed she was 16 years old in order
00:21to enroll in a New York City high school. She used a fake name and told administrators she'd
00:26moved to New York from Ohio with her sister. Now, she was given a school ID and attended classes
00:30for two weeks, but the school principal ended up outing her after learning her true identity on
00:35Facebook. I know we've seen this in rom-coms, but in the real world, this is illegal. So why would
00:41anyone allegedly do it? Police say Klassen admitted to lying her way into becoming a high school student
00:47claiming a friend made her do it so she would qualify for more public assistance. Now, she was
00:52arrested at the school campus and is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, trespassing,
00:56and criminal impersonation. Klassen pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on June 15th.
