00:00positive oh check this out this is strange this came from 200 feet in the money pit
00:06that's incredible oh yeah oh you got it oh my gosh oh wow it's treasure from the money pit
00:12spoils that's amazing yeah and it's ours
00:19there is an island in the north atlantic where people have been looking for an incredible
00:25treasure for more than 200 years so far they have found a stone slab with strange symbols carved
00:33into it man-made workings that date to medieval times and a lead cross whose origin may be
00:41connected to the knights templar to date six men have died trying to solve the mystery
00:47and according to legend one more will have to die before the treasure can be found
01:10oh guys it's a new day so i'm optimistic here in money pit one
01:15terry remind me what depth we finished at yesterday finished up at 138
01:18okay winter is fast approaching on oak island which means the year will soon come to an end
01:24for rick marty and their team but as they excavate a key target in the money pit area
01:31they may have all the time they need to solve a 231 year old mystery
01:38just about 12 to 20 feet short of the actual solution channel top so high hopes we're just
01:44now getting to the most interesting depth and it's only going to get better from here on out
01:47and that's music to my ears because that means there could be artifacts at any level we're going through
01:54the seven foot diameter shaft known as money pit one or mp1 is located in a region where soil and
02:02water tests for more than 200 feet deep in the solution channel have revealed unnaturally high traces of silver
02:18and even more compelling is the fact that those silver levels match the composition of the so-called
02:25pit blado coin a 14th century silver coin reportedly extracted from the original money pit in 1849 by a
02:34drilling foreman named james pit blado
02:42big signal here mate
02:53is that it
02:54yeah
03:01well piece of drill pipe piece of drill but looks about two inches yeah it's a little bigger
03:07than that inch and a half stuff so it's a little different isn't it yeah okay we're interested to
03:12see how old that is yeah well that was an interesting go what'd you find two inch pipe two inch
03:19pipe yeah
03:20so the last time we found two inch pipe out here that dated in the lab to mid 1800s right
03:25we figured
03:26it may be connected to the pit blado incident right yeah i think this is more of that same pipe
03:31yeah
03:32earlier this year as the team was core drilling just a few feet from this location
03:38they recovered an identical piece of drill pipe that was scientifically dated to the same era as
03:44james pit play-doh's drilling operation we are chasing the collapse of the money pit so it's
03:50possible that we are in the vicinity of the original money pit exactly it's an interesting artifact
03:56hey guys hey good morning how you doing well we're 151 right we're going to push pretty hard here on
04:03this these next few uh turns sounds good stuff everything from here on out is going to be good for
04:09us i think yeah good okay guys thank you for the update yeah see you man onward and downward for
04:15sure target depth's about 215 we just gotta get down there as the dig continues in the mp1 shaft
04:26hey laird fiona i got my support troops here today you sure do yeah marty brings rick to the
04:32mysterious stone cradle on lot eight to update him on a potentially important recent discovery so
04:39rick i dug a trench over there to see if there was something underneath it what if it covered a
04:45tunnel
04:46then i dug down to bedrock yeah you both observed i was pounding on it the teeth were scraping and
04:53you
04:53were hitting it directly yeah after the team previously found evidence of both silver and a
05:00possible shaft buried below the mysterious cradle of stones marty dug a trench to the side of it in
05:07search of a possible tunnel however he was surprised to reach bedrock just six feet down which is at a
05:16shallower depth than the cradle feature here's where you come in ian laird never hit bedrock in the stone
05:22cradle it's as if this was dug through the bedrock right topographic change of rock over a short
05:29distance isn't something i've experienced anywhere it's impossible to be more surprised than we were
05:35to find that rock cradle it's intentional it's purposeful so i think there's more work to be done
05:41to come to an understanding of what this is is there something under here we need to find out
05:47a lot eight feature represents one of the most enigmatic finds on the island and feeling alert
05:53of taking the time to uncover the cradle but we're going to run out of time here there's there's no
05:59question about it perhaps we need to take a different approach well if we want to know how far bedrock
06:05is
06:05there the only thing i can think of is basically a hammer drill if you want to keep on going
06:10down down
06:11here you need like a pneumatic hammer drill yeah yeah a hammer drill would work
06:18often utilized in masonry a hammer drill is a power tool that simultaneously rotates and hammers
06:25an attached auger bit into a hard surface such as stone or concrete the percussive motion allows the
06:33drill to penetrate denser objects more efficiently than a standard drill
06:38and it wouldn't shake and vibrate the cradle no it doesn't shake doesn't do anything just check it
06:42it's more that i'm thinking of shaking the rocks loose that i don't wish to come loose yeah
06:46what do you think no it sounds good yeah you know if we're not finding the bedrock i think we
06:53need
06:53to keep on going just in case there's a shaft or tunnel underneath here i mean while we're here we
06:58should get it done no we don't want to do it invasively or destructively but i think to your point
07:03i'd
07:04like to know where bedrock me too rick i mean both of you have said that many many times you
07:09know is
07:09there something hiding under here let's do this for right now we don't have the right equipment right
07:13now let's go talk to billy and see what he's got yeah and uh then we'll come back here and
07:17see if we
07:18can get to the bottom of this all right see you later meanwhile hey katya hi steve how's it going
07:26here
07:27really good this area has just been amazing for us we're digging through a lot of the old spoils from
07:33old searchers steve guptill joins katya drayton and billy gerhardt several yards south of the money
07:41pit area to search the so-called dunfield spoils these are several mounds of earth that were excavated
07:48from the money pit by robert dunfield in 1965 during his unsuccessful effort to recover the treasure
07:57could be quite exciting today let's find some treasure yeah let's find something yeah
08:03robert dunfield's efforts to conduct his big dig certainly pushed a lot of spoils piles in the money
08:11pit down the hill and they were never really investigated for clues to the area we are now
08:16intent on exploring so the hope is that we will find artifacts that will help us unravel what happened in
08:23the money pit long ago oh you got a hit that sounds really good it sounds really good
08:38oh it's small too hand on ferris right here yep all right where would you like it anywhere in front
08:50of me it's fine
08:53now we'll give it a little pinpoint in the hole see if we can find it
08:59oh you got it oh my gosh
09:08it's very clean what is that i mean the things that really don't corrode are precious metals
09:17while searching spoils that were removed from the money pit by treasure hunters more than 60 years ago
09:23now i think that we just found a silver coin oh wow katya has just made a potentially critical
09:30discovery i've learned that when you don't have what do you call the beveled edges milled edges milled
09:36edges yes okay so that dates back to older much in the late 17th century sir isaac newton who also
09:46served as the master of the royal mint of england was the first to design coins with milled edges
09:52this was done in order to combat counterfeiting now you know you can see something written on the
09:58edge there could that mean that this silver coin may date back to the 1600s or even earlier we've been
10:07looking for silver in the money for a long time and based on what dr spooner has shown us there
10:12is a
10:12bunch of silver up there somewhere it could be a whole bunch of that somewhere right i should run
10:16that back to the lab i agree good fine got you thank you later that day
10:25deserve a vault below here or something this could tell us rick marty craig and other members of the
10:31team arrive at the man-made depression on lot eight dubbed the stone cradle
10:38where as long as he's in that square area he can drill multiple holes oh yeah absolutely in our
10:44world it's transitioned from archaeology to geology so when you bring it up we'll get the sample
10:49start your engines layered is allowing the team to punch a three-foot hole in the bottom of the
10:55cradle with a hammer drill to collect new soil samples and look for evidence of man-made workings buried
11:02deeper below it's going there he goes what if we just don't even encounter the bedrock at all
11:11that would tend to mean something and whatever might be interesting is deeper yet that went down
11:17quite far doesn't seem like it's bedrock well we're about to find out trade spots and i'll take that sample
11:30it's pretty gritty
11:33that's enough but look at the color in that it doesn't look like bedrock to me okay well let's
11:40drill a boulder that is slate and see how yeah let's see what the difference is and we see what
11:44the cuttings look like and the penetration rate and all that stuff in order to be sure that they have
11:49not
11:50drilled through the slate bedrock beneath the cradle feature the team will now drill into a nearby boulder
11:56that is also composed of slate this will allow them to see if the drill experiences the same kind
12:03of resistance a little bit harder that's kind of what i thought that's not bedrock no
12:17i bet you the bit's heating up a lot more than i would touch that bit the conclusion has to
12:23be that
12:24it's not on bedrock is there a feature or or a void or a tunnel or a shaft underneath the
12:31cradle or close
12:32by okay here's what we can be certain of we're not done with this i agree not that we get
12:38an answer
12:40of all the frustrating archaeological weights we have had to endure this one is the most aggravating
12:47i thought by the end of this year we would have figured it out but we have it the archaeologists
12:52are incredibly protective of the site for good reasons but i'd really like to know what's at the
12:58bottom of it because i know there's a good chance of something really interesting well i think it's good
13:03that it gives us a little bit of time to actually do some research on this as well
13:07and we certainly know it's purposeful and extremely significant well let's run with that in the
13:11meantime we will leave you to it for now thanks okay let's go okay thank you guys thank you after
13:19finishing their work on lot eight watch your back i'm gonna shake dylan just watch yourself while the
13:27dick proceeds in the mp1 shaft welcome back to the lab everybody emma's ready with some data members of
13:35the team meet to receive a scientific report on the believed silver coin found near the money pit area
13:42well right off the bat i'm just going to confirm that it is silver solid silver it's a silver alloy
13:49what
13:50did you get what percent 87 oh that's good enough for me yeah that's a silver coin it's a silver
13:57coin yeah
13:59what do you make of that it is very worn um it took a lot of effort to get a
14:03good image in the ct scan
14:06what you're seeing on the screen right now is all that remains on the coin so you have the back
14:11of the
14:12head which is very clearly remaining you have a very clear mvs and then some lettering over here
14:21wow um which is great for identification so this is an overlay of the ct image on top of the
14:28coin that
14:29i found on the coin database oh yes you can certainly see that and i got an exact match with
14:38the six pence uh william the third wow really so it's english that's amazing yeah
14:46and that all aligns with this coin right there and you can see the ribbon perfectly yeah oh yeah
14:54now that you show that i can see it right in the coin yeah cool what date are you putting
15:01on this
15:02so the date range is 1697 to 1701 oh
15:10what date are you putting on this so the date range is 1697 to 1701 wow it's so significant that
15:20is a full hundred years before discovery of the money thing i think it's great yeah in the lab emma
15:27has
15:27confirmed that a silver coin found in the dunfield spoils is more than three centuries old common
15:34people weren't carrying silver this probably wasn't a worker no somebody of means right yeah a hundred
15:41years before the money pit was discovered is a heck of a long time a very long time that's a
15:47big deal
15:48these late 1600 dates lead you one of two places either that's the time of the depositor or searchers
15:55that were searching before the money pit was discovered bottom line this is a silver coin and i
16:00would call it a piece of treasure i think it's an incredibly important discovery but just like almost
16:05everything we've found all over the island continues to provide partial answers and then pose a lot more
16:11questions we found a silver treasure coin in money pit spoils on oak island it's treasure from the
16:19money pit spoils it's silver it's it's it's ours it's the end of the year and we're hoping to find
16:28more coins or a chest or a keg full of the portuguese treasure coins but it validates the reason why
16:35we're
16:35here i'm not willing to give up on solving the mystery i mean we say it all the time simply
16:40avanti
16:41you you do not stop very cool a big well done to everybody involved all right let's go see you
16:49later
16:49thank you no problem as a new day begins on oak island guys hey guys the two gentlemen we want
16:59to see
17:00where are we how deep so we're about at 195 depth good stuff 195 got it rick and other members
17:07of
17:08the team monitor the progress of the mp1 shaft which has now reached the solution channel
17:15just hope we'll find one thing we're working on it we'll keep you updated thank you thank you
17:21appreciate it yes sir go over there find something
17:30a lot of muck and mud yeah got something
17:37a signal right there
17:47it's in here whatever it is it's like a heavy chunk of metal yeah don't know what it is until
17:53it's washed off so what's it this is a piece of twisted metal from the mp1 spoils at the moment
18:01but when it goes back to the lab maybe emma runs scans and tell us it's something completely different
18:09there's a lot of stuff caked on it for sure this could be some kind of bladed tool
18:15because i see a curve on it see if the other guys can make head and the tails of it
18:20it's very heavy
18:22whatever it is it's been down there a long time this is really really hard it's been on there for
18:28a
18:28long time let's bag it terry i don't know what it is but it certainly has the appearance of being
18:34old
18:34thank you
18:37hey we've got another load waiting for us find some more
18:48yeah that is strange
18:49come in billy yep
18:56check this out i watched it and i see this oh yeah stain in it
19:00let me take it that sure looks like exotic wood
19:05why why'd you say the colors on it really and and the curb that shouldn't be here oh
19:12this is strange this linearity and that staining could be palm tree
19:18yeah we don't know where that's from i mean we're on an island and we know people have traveled from
19:23a
19:23long way away to this island by boat it'd be really cool if you're right here you know come from
19:28200
19:28feet in the money pit that's incredible this is wood from the bottom of the solution channel and
19:36wood should not be at this depth unless it were pushed down from above get a bag peter put that
19:43in
19:43the bag we need to talk to experts if this is an exotic wood it would lend credence to an
19:49old world ship
19:50coming to the new world
19:54all right let's take a look at this let's get stuck in
19:58the year has come to an end we're within a few hammer grabs of being done and i hope we
20:04find the
20:04one thing or solve the mystery or find the treasure i still have every fiber of my being believes that
20:12oak island is real the mystery is real i want to know what happened here
20:19a lot of rounded stuff
20:26oh no solid it's we're probably getting very close to the bottom yeah hey guys hey how you doing we're
20:37on bedrock bottom of the hole okay what are the final numbers 210 okay
20:47we gave it a good shot man we did 100 we did
20:53we should all be quite proud of what we all did oh yeah
20:58i love the fact that the money pit even though it denies us answers
21:03at the end of the day we walk away with our heads up a lot thank you thank you
21:09yep sometimes you get the ball across the goal line and sometimes you don't but we did learn
21:17some things and we made some discoveries which may be impactful as we delve into them
21:23you can't deny the science there is silver at depth down in the solution channel i'm not willing to give
21:30up until we'd find it hello hey marty hey rick what's going on you know this is the uh last
21:42case on yeah
21:43good news is that it was a technical success the concept of the treasure having fallen to depth
21:50everything we encountered would have permitted that to happen there's no question about that
21:55yeah and we got down 210 we bottomed out and unfortunately we we didn't find it well you know rick
22:03i agree it sounds like proof of concept is there we know it can happen but we missed and we
22:10were both
22:10hoping for the one thing being found here and that one thing being distinctly treasure right but if we
22:17think about the year in its totality i think there's a lot to be proud of i think there's a
22:23lot to be
22:23happy about yeah well rick you know thank you for the news i'll digest it actually i've been meaning to
22:31mention this to you uh dr spooner has an idea on how we could refine and maybe understand what's really
22:39going on in the money pit area and where that treasure still could be so we all need to assemble
22:44in the war room right we'll let him present his idea and i think you'll like it okie doke all
22:51right
22:51see ya welcome to everybody we have reached the end of this year's exploration which makes this a
22:58last meeting hello terry and derek hello how are you i think a good place to start is with this
23:06heat
23:06map that steve made some time ago to update it for this year's efforts the idea is to say where
23:11are the spots we have found artifacts earlier this year surveyor steve guptill created a so-called
23:20heat map it illustrates where the team has made their most significant discoveries noting their
23:26approximate dates of origin by using different colors so far we've found about 800 artifacts out of
23:32light layered his own team they find hundreds more than that we found about 1200 artifacts this year
23:38and then let me go over the hot areas most of the artifacts that you see are from the last
23:42two years
23:43if it's in the 1700s i've been clicking orange if it's earlier than that i click pink it was 1800s
23:50to now let me turn off every color except pink wow there's an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows
24:00that people were here earlier than we originally believed it's almost indisputable that there was
24:06island-wide activity to a fairly large scale that's significant is it not it is significant yeah we just
24:15need to know who and why and when yeah and what they were doing yeah well we also know that
24:22the lot
24:23eight boulder was moved and looking up there on the heat map that would have had to be work that
24:28was
24:28done earlier that's a huge anomaly that's a great segue to go to lot eight and to me this boulder
24:34came
24:35out of nowhere this year something rather significant had to happen here laird is there anything like
24:41it in nova scotia that you know i haven't found anything like it in north america i think it's
24:46much older i would not be surprised if it got us into the 1200 range the team was stunned to
24:53discover
24:54a 40 000 pound boulder on lot eight this year that was covering the cradle of stones and a potential
25:00shaft deeper below it however prior to that they had found two curious artifacts on the lot one a lead
25:09bag seal that may date back some 700 years and the other was a copper artifact with symbols that
25:16may be connected to the knight's templar well and rick you've got some white that you can shed on the
25:21lot of boulder from that trip to the azores yes we wanted to find if there is some evidence that
25:27the
25:27templars or associated groups in the 1300s needed to safeguard a treasure via the azores prior to coming to oak
25:37island we went to a megalithic site and on the way up the hill i just noticed a huge stone
25:44but it
25:44had slots carved into it and to me it was so similar to the spacing in the lot eight boulder
25:54that rock has a big void to me purposely built underneath it which brings me to what scott did
26:01yesterday so yesterday we went out and got a large hammer drill three foot long corbett and when we
26:07drilled in there we didn't find bedrock okay well here's what's certain there's a lot more work to do
26:13on this boulder on lot eight including digging underneath it there still could be a tunnel
26:19there could be a shaft well there could be treasure there could be treasure gary we need to completely
26:25eliminate any question as to what might have been done underneath that boulder but let's shift over to
26:30lot five which has been hugely significant so we have this feature which became two features which
26:37became three features this year the team made a number of new discoveries in the rounded stone
26:43foundation near the shore on lot five that suggest it was occupied by different groups over different
26:50periods prior to the discovery of the money pit these include a folded coin meant to represent a
26:57religious symbol of protection that may be more than 300 years old they also found a decorative lead
27:04artifact that may date back more than 700 years and in just the last month they began investigating what
27:12was previously thought to be a modern well just a few yards away but after digging next to it they
27:19discovered evidence that it is a much larger feature and may be connected to the rounded foundation
27:26and my understanding there it wasn't just a domicile something different than that correct
27:32we've always looked for the camp if there was this tremendous activity at the money pit it would have
27:38taken men and animals and support structures and all kinds of stuff and maybe lot five is what we've been
27:44looking for we have evidence here that substantiates that that we have possibly found a road that might
27:51be a a way to move the treasure here on oak island the sand road and again it leads us
27:57down a path of
27:58discovery in the swamp the sand road potentially changes the whole island
28:04while excavating the western side of the swamp still sandy the team was surprised to uncover
28:11a sand covered cobblestone road that was lined with eight-sided wooden survey stakes and as they kept
28:18exposing the mysterious feature they found signs that it may run through the center of the island
28:24toward lot five as well as through the swamp toward the believed portuguese stone road
28:32i find the sand road really interesting now we were always looking for a connection between the money pit
28:38and lot five then perhaps the sand road is the connection that it could lead literally to a place
28:44where treasures deposited good excellent
28:52the sand road could lead literally to a place where treasures deposited exactly
28:59i love this little ox shoe that was found along that path i only mean one thing and that's all
29:05in
29:06we thought that the portuguese stone road that we call it was a big job well you know look at
29:10the
29:11length of this thing they might be the same thing right this sand road is a continuation of center road
29:17that means that it's there much earlier than we first thought agreed and so we have these in front
29:23of us are what we believe to be a hand cannon and four stone shots these two are from previous
29:31years
29:31they're both from the azores but then this year we find two more actually derek found them on the wash
29:37plant and here's the ultimate point no country significant was using them after about 1450. so
29:44what are those doing on oak island it really i think is one of the most concrete dates we have
29:50when the team first uncovered a section of the sand road in the swamp this year
29:55look at that they also found part of an early firearm known as a hand cannon but that is unusual
30:02it was
30:03a curious find given that they have now also discovered four pieces of stone shot three of
30:09which were unearthed in the money pit area it's a very interesting piece and during the team's recent
30:16trip to the azores islands the hand cannon were common in the 1300s yes portuguese archaeologist
30:23tiago rodriguez affirmed that these artifacts may not only date back to the 14th century but could
30:30also be of portuguese origin is this enough to prove a pre-columbian voyage no but it's a good
30:38indication and a good sign of treasure because you'd need guns and ammo if you're putting a large
30:44treasure in the money pit yeah and so finally conceptually we arrive at the money pit did a lot of
30:52work there and what got us very excited is this right here this is the fabled pit plato coin so
31:01this coin turns out to be a 1369 to 1371 portuguese coin extremely rare and very valuable and of course
31:11that got us all really excited including me who is fixed on treasure more than story
31:17a chest of these would be worth just that would be worth an enormous fortune and it did apparently
31:23come out of the money pit so we got real excited about this and then we chased the theory of
31:29all
31:30right there was a treasure in the money pit and the treasure fell into the solution channel
31:35and scientific evidence to show that it's still down there exactly
31:39so it got us all enthused and we were able to get canisters down into the solution channel
31:43yeah we found lots of things that shouldn't have been in the solution channel
31:47my analysis of that is that it was proof of concept and proves the theory that stuff could fall down
31:53in
31:53there we weren't successful in finding the treasure but we all still think it's here because of your
31:59work ian and dr fred because of the metals in the water i i know you have a potentially new
32:05method
32:06that we could zero in and maybe find the treasure yep can you bring the group up to speed on
32:11that
32:12yeah a little while ago dr michael suggested we're having problems with water water moves
32:18around gets diluted so fred suggests why don't we look at wood because it has the ability to soak up
32:24metal just like a water filter would soak up metal from water and the wood's much better at soaking up
32:29metals than water and i think we just need to do more work with the wood the wood's at its
32:34early stages
32:36and we got the data back results from like 15 sort of random samples so if you've just done the
32:42tests now where did you get the wood to test we got it from the outside of logs and planks
32:49that were
32:49in various tunnels and shafts throughout the money pit and something did show up in shaft 2a which is
32:58i think the unknown shaft we're getting up the first ever searcher shaft on oak island in 2024 the
33:07oak island team began uncovering a feature that they believed to be an early 19th century searcher shaft
33:13known as shaft 2 which according to historical records was located 14 feet southeast of the original
33:22money pit i tend to think it's two different shaft however during the excavation they discovered another
33:28undocumented shaft some 10 feet to the northeast that they dubbed shaft 2a this made them wonder
33:36whether they found an old shaft built by treasure hunters or perhaps treasure depositors
33:43so in shaft 2a the wood sample from shaft 2a we had the highest amount of silver we've ever seen
33:50and also i think the third highest level of gold
33:59so in shaft 2a we had the highest amount of silver we've ever seen and also i think the third
34:06highest
34:06level of gold great there you go that's pretty exciting right it's another direct indication of
34:11treasure isn't it with that result if we have this kind of silver high silver we've seen something
34:16like 2a that could mean that there's silver very very close to where that wood is after testing
34:24numerous samples of wood that the team has unearthed in the money pit area over the years
34:29dr spooner has found new evidence of buried silver in the mysterious shaft known as 2a a structure located
34:38more than 30 feet northeast of where they detected precious metals in the solution channel
34:45dr spooner how do you reconcile the silver that we're finding in the wood from 2a and the silver
34:52that we're finding in the solution channel maybe what we're looking at here is um a variety of sources
34:59or multiple deposits yep this is getting interesting multiple treasures there's a possibility sure
35:05well what i'm proposing is we take a much more detailed look at uh metals in the wood dr spooner's
35:13latest report perhaps proves the worthiness of the idea of testing the wood in several of the shafts
35:19it certainly introduces new possibilities that we're chasing after multiple treasures in oak island
35:25this is pretty much a no-brainer let's continue this yep so yes proceed please tell us where the
35:31treasure is we're ready do my best well i just think it's a very productive year we've had some
35:39major finds the the boulder on lot eight the sand road in the swamp right it just seems like oak
35:46island
35:46has its secrets and we've uncovered some yeah so i want to thank you and i think we had a
35:51great year
35:51yep so i thought a long time about how i would like to close here today and i thought a
35:58good way to do
35:58that might be to use a symbol gary right here in me top pocket top pocket find and uh it's
36:10this this is one ounce of pure gold it appropriately has the canadian maple leaf on it and here's the
36:17pure gold i would like to find and we have found pure gold here from the people of canada from
36:22the
36:22people of nova scotia and certainly the people in this room and if we are moving caissons around
36:29next year instead of these poker chips we're going to move this maple leaf around to decide where to dig
36:35and hopefully find the treasure yeah yep it goes without saying how important you have all become
36:43to me we're a family because the experience here is only as wonderful as it is because of each and
36:53every
36:53one of you without you without each of you these past years of my life would have been
37:01far less rich the treasure and the story are like brothers they're together right but the real treasure really
37:13is each and every one of you this is the true treasure in life that we share now 100 we
37:22are very
37:23grateful to be a part of your passion and share it with you we would not be here if you
37:31did not share
37:31your dream not only with us but the world thank you thank you yeah yeah well said i agree absolutely
37:40yep
37:41the thank you that craig expressed the thank you that marty expressed the thank you that i'm
37:45expressing it's heartfelt it is genuine and it is important emiliano why don't you close out the day
37:52thank you thank you all thanks everybody thank you the year on oak island has come to an end her
38:09legendary secrets remain unknown look at the enormity of the finds look at the early dates thanks mark we have
38:17written maybe not the answer to the oak island mystery what we have added chapters upon chapters
38:23of information goodbye all however rick marty craig and their team have proved one thing the quest for
38:32answers to this 231 year old mystery is well worth the pursuit my whole life been curious about things
38:40very very curious about things gets me in trouble sometimes oh it's another good year yep always
38:45bittersweet isn't it how can we have found so many inexplicable things in one year so there's many
38:50reasons that would make me come back here to find this treasure we have to be close to the end
38:55game don't we
38:58so far they have found more than two thousand artifacts and numerous man-made structures predating the
39:06discovery of the discovery of the money pit some by as much as 800 years and they have obtained mounting
39:14scientific evidence that treasure really may lie buried all across the island
39:21so next year when they return they will build upon all they have learned and revealed to solve the mystery
39:33and like a year where we said you know what we did it that moment has not come but that
39:41is still my
39:41hope i won't relent i quite stubborn that way
