00:41Thank you ladies and gentlemen, thank you, all right, well, thanks very much, wow, what a reception,
00:53thank you so much, wow, this is great, thank you, okay,
01:02what a highly excitable crowd, I love it, and I think I know why you're excited this week,
01:10because it's one week before the Super Bowl, and six days since ice killed anybody, so,
01:19oh, it's getting, getting really chippy out there in Minnesota, boy, everything happens,
01:25anybody here from Minnesota, don't bring that shit here.
01:29I mean, Ilan Omar, the congresswoman, I have nothing in common with her politically, but
01:34this is horrible, we cannot allow this to happen, it happens more and more, politicians getting
01:40attacked, luckily it wasn't harmful, when somebody went after her yesterday, when she was making
01:44a speech with a syringe, could have been anything in there, turned out it was, you know what
01:49it was, apple cider vinegar, the guy was charged with one count of aggravated assault, and two
02:00counts of disturbing the pH, which, uh, look, there are mass protests today all across the country,
02:13turns out that what ice is doing in Minnesota is something even Trump's base cannot quite
02:19abide all the way, and Trump, interesting, he once famously said that he could stay popular
02:25if he shot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue, maybe, but not Minnesota.
02:31Minnesota. Minnesota is proving a different case, and by the way, in this fight between the
02:38two sides, the thugs and the protesters, the other side blinked this week. That's the story,
02:44this guy Gregory Bovino, you saw this guy, he was the border, out. They got rid of him,
02:53put in, uh, put in, uh, Tom Holman, who is using words now like drawing down. Okay, good, let's draw
03:01down. And he, Tom Holman also met with, uh, Governor Tim Walz, and they said it was cordial,
03:07and they realized that they had a lot in common at the end of the meeting when they exchanged
03:11brown paper bags full of money. I kid those politicians. Uh, oh, and, another thing that
03:23was kind of positive this week, last week, I said, next, we're going into Maine, and they
03:27went, and this week they said, no, we've ended operations in Maine after nine days of scouring
03:33the state and finding only white people. So, but, uh, one place ICE is still going to go.
03:46They have not changed on this, the Super Bowl. They're going to the Super Bowl. Even worse,
03:51uh, Kristi Noem is going to the Puppy Bowl. That's, that's really going to, uh, not to defend ICE,
04:02of course, but, uh, if you're an immigrant, and you can afford the $6,000 Super Bowl ticket,
04:12you actually might be a drug dealer. Yeah, I, I, I, I mean, I'm not going to lie about that
04:16one,
04:16but, uh, but look, I'm going to go ahead and call this a positive week for America, because I feel
04:26like the level of lying that they have done in Minnesota, they got to a place where even they
04:32couldn't take it. Even the case here of the second shooting that happened in Minneapolis,
04:36Kristi Noem is now saying that she got her information wrong. Okay, the guy wasn't a terrorist.
04:43He wasn't brandishing a gun. He wasn't trying to kill law enforcement. But she did get the city right.
04:49It was Minneapolis. And, again, this is positive. We're definitely not going to be invading Greenland
05:02anymore. Uh, if, uh, if America needs to stretch out, you can always go to the Melania movie. Uh,
05:21and, and here's some interesting news. Luigi, uh, Mangione fans. We have any Luigi Mangione fans here?
05:29Right, because street executions, street executions are always a K when it's a cause you like. Yeah.
05:38But, okay, so here's the, the judge said he will not face the death penalty now, Luigi Mangione,
05:44but he will reassess in 15 years when he's less hot. All right, we've got a great show. We have
05:49Marjorie Taylor Greene is back with us. I'm Joe Scarborough. But first up,
05:54a comedian, an actor, the host of the greatest average American game show premiering February
06:0022nd on ABC and star of the upcoming film, the breadwinner. Please welcome Nate Garbargett.
06:05He is here.
06:08Thank you very much.
06:10It's Marjorie Taylor Greene.
06:11Gladest comedian. Great to be with you. How are you doing?
06:14Yeah, I'm great. I'm great.
06:17Thank you very much.
06:21Nate, first of all, I know you stay,
06:24you stayed in L.A. a couple of extra days just to do this. I so appreciate that.
06:28Oh, yeah.
06:29You are America's hottest comedian.
06:38You're a middle of the country guy.
06:40When you have to stay in L.A., is it painful or do you like it here?
06:43No, I love it. It's great.
06:46I mean, it's freezing in Nashville now, so it's, you know, you guys got great weather.
06:51I get it. I get it.
06:55Yeah.
06:57All right. Well, one reason I wanted to have you here is because, you know, I've been a comedian a
07:02very long time.
07:03And one of the great things about us comics is that we are just all over the map.
07:06Yeah.
07:07We have one thing in common is that we make people laugh.
07:10We love to do it.
07:11But we're all so different, and you and I, we could not be more different.
07:15Yeah.
07:15Right?
07:16Yeah, yeah.
07:16I mean, you met your wife at Applebee's.
07:23Yeah.
07:25That's not yours.
07:26I don't even have a wife.
07:27You don't have a wife.
07:28Yeah.
07:29Yeah.
07:30Yeah.
07:33When's the last time you've been to Applebee's?
07:36Applebee's?
07:36Never.
07:37Never been to Applebee's.
07:38Why would I go?
07:41I don't think it existed when I was poor, and now I'm fucking rich.
07:44Yeah.
07:46Yeah.
07:46I don't have a good Applebee.
07:52But, you know, there is things we do have in common.
07:56Like, I've heard you grew up in a Christian household.
07:59You know what?
07:59So did I.
08:00I was raised Catholic.
08:01Yeah.
08:03Catholic.
08:03I think you took a much harder turn than I did.
08:06Yeah.
08:08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
08:13Why?
08:14You think it's more hardcore?
08:16No, no.
08:17I'm saying, you know, just your belief of nothing.
08:19Oh, I see.
08:19Like, you went.
08:20Yes, yes.
08:21Yeah, you went completely.
08:22Yeah.
08:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
08:25Yeah.
08:32Well, nothing to do with Catholicism.
08:35I think Jesus is a wonderful moral philosopher, and I believe in ethics and lots of other stuff.
08:40We don't have to get into that.
08:41I'm a big fan.
08:41Yeah.
08:42I'm a big fan as well.
08:43Yeah.
08:44So, yeah.
08:44Yeah.
08:46So, but what I love about what's going on with you now is that you found your lane, which
08:52we all do and have to do in show business.
08:56Your show is your game show.
08:58I mean, you've got a movie, you've got a game show, you've got a theme park.
09:02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:03Yeah.
09:04We're building.
09:05It's not there yet, but, yeah.
09:08I mean, that's, that's.
09:10It's a lot of stuff.
09:10I've never heard anybody, you know, have that much going on at this time.
09:13Well, I'm just going, no one's, no one's saying no.
09:17Like, so, you know, yeah, you just kind of, you know, keep going.
09:26Yeah, while they're offering it, because show business is not dependable.
09:29No.
09:29Well, you know, it's interesting, it's like, because when we started, like, where I started
09:32in comedy, when you started, like, for you guys, you had to go to get on TV, really.
09:37It wasn't a path.
09:38Where now, as a stand-up comic, and I was able to go through the whole system, and you
09:44start selling your own tickets, and you start, like, really doing bigger stuff, and so there's
09:48a path for stand-ups that wasn't the path when you started.
09:52And when you talk to comics and Seinfeld and stuff that, you know, they need to show you,
09:57it was about getting on sitcoms, and it was about that kind of stuff.
10:00And so for us now, it's like, you know, it's really opened up to be, you can just be a
10:04stand-up
10:04comedian.
10:05Well, you have to be a good one.
10:07Yes.
10:08Well, yes.
10:08Yeah, yeah.
10:09People have to like what you're doing, and you have to find that lane.
10:12I mean, you're...
10:13What's the most honest, too?
10:14That's what's great about it, because you find out in that second if that was the worst
10:19or not.
10:20You tell a joke, and it's immediate.
10:22That's what's been...
10:23I mean, I'm excited about the movie and the game show, but it's like, to create something
10:27that I have to really wait for the reaction is kind of weird, because it's, I'm so used to...
10:32You can try a joke tonight.
10:34You can try...
10:34You can do anything and see if something works, you know?
10:37Well, it better, because we don't re-tape.
10:40Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:41That's the fun.
10:42Yeah.
10:43This is it.
10:44This is it.
10:45You know.
10:45And that's...
10:46I mean, that's...
10:47That's why I have loved so much doing this show for 23 years, because it's as it's happening.
10:52You know, I don't have to think about it after, because I can't, because it's done, because
10:55we're home.
10:57Yeah.
10:57And as you say, where everything, especially these days, is, hmm, can you really be sure
11:03if that's true?
11:04You know, everything with AI and so forth.
11:07Yeah.
11:07And I think we both agree, stand-up is like that last pure art form, where people want
11:12that authenticity, where so much else in their life is not authentic.
11:16Mm-hmm.
11:16If I can invest...
11:17I mean, if you can invest in an art form, stand-up, I think, is.
11:20I look at stand-up.
11:21Stand-up's still a pretty new art form in the way that we see it today.
11:25You know, where, like, a lot of the...
11:27Like, Carlin could be alive.
11:30Like, it's not like he'd be 150.
11:32He would be alive right now.
11:33So it's like, where you see it as now, it's developing so much...
11:37It's going so much faster.
11:39And then with comics, I mean, yeah, it's me talking to this audience.
11:43And it's the only thing you get...
11:45A lot of other entertainment or stuff like that, you can be like, well, I don't know what's
11:50going on.
11:51Music, you can be like, well, what's really happening?
11:53And with stand-up, it's just me to you in its most pure form.
11:57And I think it's only going to grow.
11:59But not everybody who gets up there and the audience is exposed to that person catches
12:04on like you did.
12:05It's so funny that your reputation in a lot of these projects, the theme park, the
12:10movie, the game show, it's about the average American.
12:12You're just the average guy.
12:14Oh, yeah.
12:14Well, plainly not.
12:16I'm the...
12:17The average guy with a theme park, a movie.
12:20Well, I...
12:21But I'm...
12:22I'm the...
12:23I'm the greatest at it.
12:25That's what I'm saying.
12:26The thing of the show is the greatest at the...
12:29So it's like you just kind of say...
12:32Well, that's the idea of the game show?
12:34No, the idea...
12:35I have a special called The Greatest Average American.
12:37I would always joke that I'm that.
12:39And so then when I called that special, that was a great title, which led into me thinking
12:43of the game show and creating that game show.
12:45I just want to create this stuff.
12:47I was...
12:47As I came up through this system, it's like with...
12:50I've done all the gigs.
12:51I've done the shows in front of one person, in front of a big arena.
12:55Like, you've kind of hit all the spots.
12:57I look at, like, doing a game show when I host the Emmys to do a movie.
13:01I want to kind of do everything so I know how to do everything.
13:05And then I also want to try to help...
13:07You know, I don't think younger artists are not getting developed properly.
13:11And so they don't...
13:12They get kind of pushed out too quick.
13:14And a lot of them really need some developing.
13:17Developing helped me a lot because I was able to kind of sit and learn how to get better.
13:22And you're sending a lot of younger people.
13:24It's like all about social media.
13:26It's all about getting the watches and the views.
13:29And you're not developing anybody, which is going to make your system crumble
13:32because you have no one underneath it that can keep and carry it.
13:35And so hopefully you can build safe places that they can go do whatever they want.
13:39Then it'll be clean.
13:41I'm not saying be like me or whatever, but just be an artist that can have an act
13:45that can work and work for a very long time.
13:57Now, there's one more thing we have to get to.
13:59Okay.
14:00It may not be that easy for you.
14:04Reading.
14:06Because the first time I saw you, you were on Saturday Night Live.
14:08You did this routine.
14:10I mean, it was riveting because you talked...
14:13It was all about how...
14:15Come on, a book?
14:16You really expect me to get through a whole book?
14:18So many words?
14:19A lot of words.
14:20Yeah.
14:24I don't blame you.
14:25I blame the country and society and the educational system.
14:29But you know books are actually good.
14:31I mean, we're...
14:31I'm a...
14:32Look.
14:33I look at...
14:35I think about it every day.
14:37And I look at books and I go, buddy, I want to get in there.
14:42And something holds me back.
14:44I brought you a...
14:45I'm going to challenge you to read...
14:47I think I could...
14:48A lot of reasons why people don't read the book doesn't interest me.
14:51I wrote a novel.
14:52Yes.
14:53All right.
14:54It's about...
14:58It's really funny.
14:59Yeah.
15:00Funny on every page.
15:01It's about my early years in stand-up.
15:03So it's a subject that I bet would interest you very much.
15:05Very much interests me.
15:06I have...
15:07I'm going to challenge you.
15:08I think you can read this book.
15:11Yeah.
15:13You take the challenge?
15:14Yes.
15:15And can I...
15:16And then I'll come back on and tell you what...
15:18Absolutely.
15:19Or tell me privately.
15:20Or tell me publicly.
15:21Yeah.
15:21But I think you can do it.
15:23Is it like...
15:24Yeah.
15:25It's not that long.
15:25These words look okay.
15:27I don't feel like anything looks too big.
15:30When you put them in...
15:31Picasso.
15:31You're talking about Picasso at some point.
15:33That's going to go over my head.
15:34But...
15:36I bet I'll look stuff up.
15:39But you're right.
15:39Yeah.
15:41Just start it.
15:42I bet you...
15:43If you're not...
15:44I get it.
15:44You're going to get me rolling, dude.
15:45I'll be a book guy.
15:48Let's not get too...
15:49Do you have any blank pages in here?
15:51That's what I think books are supposed to have.
15:53I think like the beginning of a chapter...
15:56Yeah.
15:56I think it's all...
15:57Maybe half is blank.
16:00Yeah.
16:00So we start with baby steps.
16:01Okay.
16:02Okay, man?
16:02All right.
16:03I'll start here.
16:04All right.
16:04Thank you, brother.
16:05Thank you very much.
16:05Good luck with all your projects.
16:06So great to meet you.
16:07So great to meet you.
16:09I'm a fan.
16:09You're very funny.
16:11All right.
16:13Let's meet our panel.
16:20Hey, guys.
16:23All right.
16:24He is co-host of MS Now's morning show
16:27and author of its daily newsletter,
16:28The Tea Spilled by Morning Joe.
16:30Joe Scarborough.
16:33How are you?
16:33Good to see you.
16:35And she's a former Republican congresswoman from Georgia
16:38and author of the book, MTG, Marjorie Taylor Greene is back with us.
16:43So quickly.
16:45I know.
16:48We made you a star on this show.
16:50Now they love you.
16:51I owe it all to you.
16:52You do.
16:53You do.
16:54And America's changing because of that.
16:55I take all their credit.
16:58All right.
16:59So I think the big story this week is, as I said in the monologue,
17:01I think the Republican base, and you're a former Republican,
17:05you're still a Republican, but obviously have issues with the administration,
17:10finally found something that they don't like.
17:14I mean, they certainly threw under the bus a lot of Republican principles in the last five,
17:19ten years.
17:20Am I wrong about that?
17:21I mean, small government and debt and not attacking police.
17:25I mean, a $39 trillion debt.
17:28Yeah.
17:30Largest deficits ever.
17:31Attacking the Capitol.
17:32It used to be something Republicans were against, you know.
17:35Beating up cops.
17:36Conceding elections.
17:37All that was okay.
17:40They finally found something with this second shooting, and the guy had a gun.
17:46Right.
17:47And Kash Patel said, you cannot bring a firearm loaded with multiple magazines
17:51to any sort of protest that you want.
17:54And they said, the fuck we can't.
18:00They, guns, I think that is the ultimate third rail for them.
18:06I mean, I remember when they wanted, and maybe they still do,
18:09they'd take them into Starbucks.
18:11You know, you'd see people, oh, yeah, there's a picture of it.
18:14You know, that was, that's America.
18:16And protests, they did that a lot.
18:19So, I don't know.
18:21I mean, the purpose, when I was a Republican, it was small government.
18:27It was balanced budgets.
18:29It was...
18:29I co-sponsored that every Congress.
18:32Balanced budget amendment.
18:33Term limits.
18:33They didn't listen to you.
18:35Uh, second amendment.
18:36So, uh, but it was also just the size of government.
18:39We were, you know, we would have these meetings, these caucus meetings,
18:43and we would show up, and the most conservative people would show up,
18:46small government conservatives would show up,
18:49and then sort of civil libertarian Democrats would show up,
18:53and would show up at the speaker, look at each other going,
18:55wait, what are you doing here?
18:56It's one of these things where we sort of met in the middle,
18:59where neither one of us wanted a police state.
19:02We didn't want big government.
19:03We didn't want, uh, you know, the FBI to be able to have, you know, warrantless wiretaps.
19:08We didn't want to see the sort of things that we've seen in Minneapolis over the past week.
19:12I'm just shocked that it's taken as long for the Republican Party, the rank and file,
19:17to be concerned about what they've been seeing.
19:20I mean, yeah, whether you're talking about guns or whether you're talking about kicking in doors of American citizens
19:25without a judicial warrant, that stuff that Republicans, in my day, would have never put up with.
19:35And, Marjorie, you look like the person who had more integrity than the rest of them.
19:39It's amazing the transformation you went.
19:42It's kind of the, wow.
19:47I mean, it's sort of the, you know, Liz Cheney 2.0, you know.
19:53I wouldn't say that, no.
19:55No?
19:55No, definitely not.
19:57No?
19:57Neither would Liz, right?
19:58Neither would Liz.
19:59Oh, okay.
20:00No, not a good comparison.
20:02But the Second Amendment, I do want to go on that,
20:05because I defended Kyle Rittenhouse, defended him, helped raise money for his legal defense.
20:11And I spoke out publicly on the situation in Minnesota that people have the right to bear arms,
20:18and it shall not be infringed.
20:20And we need to see people on both sides really agree that that's the right thing to do.
20:27Well, there was somebody who's running for Republican governor or Republican in Minnesota,
20:33dropped out of the race.
20:35His name is Chris Madel.
20:36I don't know.
20:37He's local.
20:37But he said the national Republicans have made it nearly impossible for a Republican
20:42to win a statewide election in Minnesota.
20:45I feel like this is the kind of thing that gets through the politicians.
20:49Cuts through.
20:50We're going to lose.
20:51I mean, I find a silver lining in this a little this week that it does seem like Trump does
20:57sometimes listen to the politics.
20:59Oh, yeah.
21:01He does.
21:02He has the feel for it.
21:05He understands when he's gone too far.
21:08He also understands when it's time to distract, when it's time to sort of wag the dog.
21:13But here, he understood they had gone too far.
21:16And it was one of these issues, and there are very few issues that actually cut through to popular culture.
21:23Because we're obsessed with the stuff, because we talk about it every day.
21:26We live it every day.
21:27But, you know, when you see Charles Barkley talking, you know, at halftime in a basketball game,
21:34going off about what happened in Minnesota,
21:36when you see other people doing that, that don't usually like talking about politics,
21:42that want to stay away from politics, you understand it's cutting through to popular culture.
21:47And that scares any president when they're on the wrong side of the issue.
21:52And in this case, taking Donald Trump's strongest issue, immigration,
21:57and turn it into one of his weakest issues,
22:00because he couldn't just celebrate securing the Southern border,
22:03which I think most Americans support, as we were talking about before,
22:07most Americans support deporting the really bad people there.
22:11They do not support street by street, house by house.
22:20And I think it's really interesting, you know, I think...
22:25By the way, that's the first time anybody has ever cheered for me here.
22:28That's how unpopular this is, right?
22:32I think we have to give the administration a lot of credit.
22:35The secure border is fantastic.
22:37I'm friends with Lake and Riley's mother,
22:39and we didn't see a lot of protests happening on the left,
22:44saying that, you know, Americans shouldn't be killed by illegal aliens.
22:49And I didn't see Democrats protesting the Obama administration,
22:54and under President Obama, there were more deportations
22:58than President Trump and President Biden and President Bush.
23:03And so we didn't see protests back then.
23:05They didn't do it this way.
23:06They didn't do it.
23:07Well, I mean, yeah, we didn't see that.
23:09They weren't gentle.
23:12But we didn't see it on television, though.
23:15I mean, and I watched Cops, was on TV recently.
23:18Have you watched Cops, the show from the 90s?
23:20Oh, my goodness.
23:22That looked like police brutality.
23:24And nobody said anything about that back then.
23:28You know, the thing is with...
23:29You should watch it.
23:32The thing with Barack Obama was...
23:34I'm still catching up on cheaters.
23:34Barack Obama actually was attacked by Democratic groups
23:39for being the deporter-in-chief.
23:41They thought he deported too many people.
23:43But what he was able to do is he was able to get states
23:46to get people who were here illegally that were in jail
23:51and get them deported.
23:52I mean, so many of those deportations came from people in jail.
23:57I think right now that's what every state needs to agree to do.
24:01If there's somebody who's here illegally, if they're in jail,
24:06then cooperate and send them back home.
24:11Attitude comes from the top down.
24:13People understand what the attitude of the top guy in office always is.
24:18You don't think he has a good attitude, Bill?
24:20Who?
24:20The top guy.
24:22No.
24:24And, I mean, if you saw the quotes from this Bongino, whatever guy is,
24:30the one that they just fired.
24:32The guy in the couch.
24:33Yeah, these are our streets.
24:34This is why you have this.
24:36This is why you have this bullying.
24:38That didn't come from Obama, that kind of attitude.
24:41That's why I showed this picture last week.
24:43We can show it again.
24:44Executions in the streets.
24:45This reminded me of the one from Vietnam in 1968
24:48that changed hearts and minds.
24:50This week, there's another one.
24:51We had a second shooting.
24:53It looks just like this.
24:54That's what people are seeing.
24:56Pictures worth a thousand words.
24:58That didn't happen under Obama.
24:59That's why you've lost, including...
25:02...rank and file.
25:04And...
25:07...that's not the only really chilling thing.
25:10A viral video in Maine.
25:14Ice guy's taking this woman's...
25:16...picture of her license plate.
25:18And she says,
25:18Why are you taking my information down?
25:21This is caught on tape, I guess,
25:23because they have the quote.
25:24Because we have a nice little database,
25:25and now you're considered a domestic terrorist.
25:28That is exactly what they do in fascist governments.
25:32Whenever you're a protester,
25:34you're actually an enemy of the state,
25:35and we arrest you.
25:36That's what's going on in Iran right now.
25:38They arrested Don Lemon.
25:42Somebody went,
25:43Yes, like, good.
25:44I don't know.
25:45I don't know.
25:46I didn't hear him.
25:47It's not good to arrest him.
25:49I don't...
25:49You know.
25:50Well, I'm going to say he violated the FACE Act.
25:53He went into a church,
25:54disrupted their worship,
25:55and then later in an interview,
25:58compared them to white supremacists.
26:00That's not journalism.
26:01That's activism.
26:03I had an experience with Don Lemon.
26:05They're not getting arrested?
26:07Disrupting a worship service,
26:08stopping people's right to worship God,
26:11that is violation of the FACE Act.
26:14And under the Biden administration,
26:15pro-lifers were sent to prison up to 11 years
26:19for praying in front of an abortion clinic,
26:22and they were convicted under the FACE Act.
26:26So I don't think that's journalism.
26:28That's not First Amendment,
26:29going in and harassing people in the middle of church.
26:32And, you know,
26:33Don Lemon came to my office
26:34with the Tesla takedown guy
26:36that organized it,
26:38and we had to call Capitol Police.
26:40Okay, but I...
26:41Can we just charge him with,
26:42not cool, man?
26:45I completely support him.
26:47So, if I can...
26:49If I can disagree here,
26:50I think the people that went into the church,
26:53that were the protesters
26:55that went into the church,
26:57if under the FACE Act...
26:59FACE Act.
27:00If under the FACE Act...
27:01FACE.
27:02FACE, right.
27:03FACE.
27:04Oh, FACE!
27:05FACE.
27:05It's a federal law.
27:06Oh, I thought it was,
27:07you've got to have faith,
27:08because it was about church.
27:09Well, the parishioners,
27:11the Christians have faith,
27:12and they were trying to have church,
27:14and Don Lemon and a bunch of activists
27:15came in and harassed them
27:17to the point where children were crying.
27:18Right, right, right.
27:19But what I'm saying is,
27:20whatever that act is,
27:22if it is the FACE Act,
27:23or the FAITH Act,
27:25or the FACE Act,
27:26whatever act it is,
27:27I think the people that went in
27:29and disturbed that church,
27:31if they want to prosecute them,
27:34then that's certainly, you know,
27:36their right to consider that.
27:38If you're Don Lemon,
27:40and you're going up to the pastor,
27:43and you're saying,
27:44I'm not here with them,
27:45I'm curious, what are your thoughts?
27:47Was he aggressive?
27:48He was aggressive.
27:50Was Mike Wallace aggressive?
27:52Were other journalists aggressive
27:53in their days?
27:54Yes, they were.
27:55I think there has to be
27:56sort of a differentiation
27:59between if somebody's going in there
28:01and saying, I'm not with them,
28:02can I ask you some questions?
28:03Because you're going to have
28:04embeds in war,
28:05you're going to have embeds in protest.
28:07So, yeah, this is,
28:08there's no doubt
28:09this was meant to scare other reporters,
28:13to scare other journalists.
28:15And when, when,
28:17when you have the magistrate,
28:20when you have the magistrate
28:22in Minnesota see the charges
28:23and say, well, this is bullshit.
28:25When you had the chief justice,
28:27the chief federal judge
28:28in Minnesota look at it and go,
28:29well, this is bullshit.
28:31And say, you can't bring these charges.
28:33And so Pam Bondi goes,
28:34okay, I'll bring them myself.
28:37Obviously that shows
28:39it's at the direction
28:40of the administration
28:42to intimidate journalists.
28:44I think it's bullshit
28:44to direct the charges.
28:46I do too.
28:47I mean, I do too.
28:49I don't think Christians
28:50should be harassed in church,
28:52especially by activists
28:54Okay, well, let's talk about
28:54who we all agree
28:56shouldn't be harassed,
28:57which is politicians,
28:59because Ilan Omar was attacked.
29:01I mean, she's probably...
29:02I don't think anybody should be.
29:03I'm totally against violence.
29:05All of it.
29:05But it's a great example
29:06because you're exactly
29:07the opposite politically
29:08as Ilan Omar.
29:10Right.
29:10And I'm not a fan of hers either.
29:13Exactly.
29:13Right.
29:14It shouldn't matter.
29:15And it happens way more
29:16than it ever did.
29:17I mean, I could go
29:18through the whole list
29:19from Nancy Pelosi's husband
29:20to Trump's assassination.
29:22Absolutely.
29:22All this.
29:23It just...
29:23What do we do?
29:25I mean, are we...
29:26Like this guy with the syringe.
29:27I'm wondering,
29:28what is the penalty there?
29:30Yeah.
29:31By the way,
29:32she went after him.
29:34It's the only time
29:34I've ever liked her.
29:35Yeah.
29:36She did.
29:38You know, Bill,
29:39I really think that
29:41as a country,
29:43Americans need to recognize
29:44that the people
29:46from my district
29:47that had elected me
29:48are going to disagree
29:50with the people
29:51from Ilhan Omar's district
29:52that elected her
29:53but as Americans,
29:54we should respect each other.
29:56Right.
29:56And, of course,
29:58you're going to have politicians
29:59that you don't agree with
30:00and as Americans,
30:01it's okay for us
30:02to disagree with each other
30:03but it's not okay
30:05to celebrate violence
30:06or death threats
30:07or anything like that
30:08towards one another.
30:09And I think...
30:15I think that's why
30:17it's so important
30:18that from the top,
30:19I think politicians
30:22need to set the exam.
30:23a lot of people
30:24made fun of Donald Trump
30:26when he had
30:27New York's mayor in
30:28and they got along.
30:30I think that's a great thing
30:31to show Americans.
30:33I think it's a great thing
30:34when the president
30:35calls Tim Waltz
30:36and calls the Minneapolis mayor.
30:39They're going to fight tomorrow.
30:41That's not the issue.
30:42The issue is that today
30:43we can talk about
30:45a 37-year-old American
30:46gunned down in the streets
30:48and we can say
30:49it's time to deescalate.
30:50You know,
30:51when I was in Congress,
30:52I was one of the most
30:53conservative members there.
30:54Maxine Waters
30:55was one of the most
30:56liberal members there.
30:57She would enrage me
30:58every time we were
30:59in the Judiciary Committee
31:00together.
31:01So what would I do
31:01on the House floor?
31:02I'd go over and hug her
31:03in front of the C-SPAN camera.
31:05She'd go,
31:05get away, get away!
31:06You're going to destroy
31:07my reputation
31:08and my district!
31:09But we did that
31:11and we just sort of
31:12set the example.
31:13We disagree on
31:14just about everything.
31:15But we get along
31:16and we understand
31:17just what you said.
31:19People in her district
31:20are not asking her
31:23to do the same thing
31:24that people in my district
31:25in Northwest Florida
31:26were asking me to do.
31:27And even though we disagree,
31:28that's the greatness
31:29of America.
31:30We disagree,
31:31we come together,
31:32we compromise,
31:35and we figure out
31:36how to steer this
31:37ship of state forward.
31:39All right.
31:39Well, speaking of...
31:46Speaking of come together,
31:48how many of you
31:48are on Tinder?
31:50Uh-huh.
31:52I walked right in.
31:53I led you right into that.
31:55I led you right into it.
31:56I'm only asking
31:57because we like to keep
31:58people up on the latest.
31:59Yes!
31:59This is a big trend.
32:01Apparently you're all
32:01on Grindr.
32:02But on Tinder...
32:04I'm joking, I'm joking.
32:08On Tinder now,
32:09there's a new...
32:09I read about this.
32:10It's hot take dating.
32:12I love this.
32:12I think this is a great idea.
32:14And what the idea is,
32:16as opposed to what
32:17we usually do
32:18on a first date,
32:19which is be on
32:19our best behavior,
32:21be on your worst.
32:22In other words,
32:24get it all out
32:25on the table right away
32:26because it's going
32:26to come out anyway.
32:27Get to the hot topics.
32:29Get to the stuff
32:30that's going to be
32:31the deal breakers
32:31right away
32:32and save yourselves time.
32:34There you go.
32:36Yeah, I think
32:37it's a great idea.
32:42The problem is,
32:43when it gets to
32:44worse behavior,
32:45the guys are always
32:46worse than the women.
32:47I mean,
32:48we got a hold of...
32:49Would you like to hear
32:50some of these exchanges
32:51that...
32:51See, for example,
32:53the woman says
32:53that we...
32:54These are all real.
32:55I used to be
32:55an exotic dancer.
32:56Okay, so you come
32:57clean right away.
32:58That's a good thing
32:59to know.
32:59And then he said,
33:00my nickname
33:01on Epstein Island
33:02was the freak.
33:03Okay, so...
33:07It's just hard
33:08for the guy
33:09not to be worse.
33:11And she comes clean.
33:12I used to be fat,
33:13but I just lost
33:1428 pounds on Ozempic.
33:15Great admission.
33:17And he says,
33:18I just lost 28 pounds
33:20on methamphetamine.
33:28In order to start
33:29my car,
33:29she says,
33:30I have to blow
33:30into a breathalyzer.
33:34And he says,
33:34in order to pay
33:35for my car,
33:36I have to blow
33:36a guy named Hector.
33:43I'm telling you.
33:46I think these are real.
33:47Yeah, yeah,
33:47these are real.
33:47Yeah, these are all real.
33:48Very real.
33:50The women are trying
33:51like she said,
33:51I have a tough time
33:52with authority.
33:53Great admission.
33:54He said,
33:54I took a shit
33:55on Nancy Pelosi's death.
34:03She said,
34:04I'm a Swifty.
34:05I saved my money
34:06to go to all her concerts.
34:07He said,
34:08I'm a big fan of Kanye,
34:09but only for his
34:10political views,
34:11not his music.
34:17She said,
34:18I have a prison record.
34:19Great admission.
34:20He said,
34:20I have a Kevin Federline record.
34:30She said,
34:31I'm between jobs
34:32and can't seem
34:32to find a job
34:33that I like.
34:34He said,
34:34I was fired
34:35as a mall Santa
34:36for getting boners.
34:44She said,
34:45my dream is to get on
34:46America's Got Talent.
34:48He said,
34:48my dream is to get on
34:50to catch a predator.
34:51All right.
34:52So,
34:53okay.
34:54Just a little fun
34:56with Tinder.
35:02Since
35:03this is the issue
35:04that sort of like
35:05split you
35:05with the Republican Party,
35:07I'm talking about
35:07the Epstein files
35:08and they released
35:09today three million.
35:10I don't get this
35:11Epstein file thing.
35:12I don't get it either.
35:12It's like the McRib.
35:13Every few months,
35:15I thought we were
35:16done with it a year ago
35:17and then every couple
35:18of months,
35:19three.
35:19I personally thought
35:21it was one of the
35:22main tenets of MAGA
35:23to release the Epstein files.
35:25And you were right.
35:25The MAGA people
35:26were with you
35:27on that.
35:29I mean,
35:29and,
35:30okay,
35:30so,
35:31it just came out today.
35:32It was a Friday news dump.
35:34So,
35:35we don't have
35:35all the information.
35:36There's millions of them
35:37and apparently
35:38millions more to go.
35:39I mean,
35:40Jesus Christ,
35:40why didn't they arrest
35:41this guy years ago
35:42if they had all
35:43this information?
35:45But,
35:46so,
35:46I'm not going to...
35:47Can I just say,
35:49that's part of the problem.
35:50I remember in 2015,
35:512016,
35:53we kept asking
35:54on the show,
35:55why is this guy
35:56not in jail?
35:57People are like,
35:57what are you talking about?
35:58I mean,
35:59he got a sweetheart deal
36:00in Florida.
36:01I mean,
36:02he was able to...
36:03He still had
36:04the elites around him.
36:05The question is,
36:07why do people
36:10in authority
36:10keep protecting
36:13all the rich
36:15and powerful men
36:15that were around him
36:16and they keep doing it?
36:17I'm just going to...
36:18I'm just going to give you
36:19what I think we know.
36:20Now,
36:21there's a lot of
36:21scuttlebutt in here,
36:22but some of it says
36:24source not
36:25really reputable.
36:26This is apparently
36:28just from actual emails.
36:29These are...
36:30This is just
36:30people caught in lies.
36:33Right.
36:33Which is very indicative.
36:34Howard Lutnick,
36:35he's the commerce secretary,
36:38he had said
36:39that he cut ties
36:40with Epstein
36:40around 2005,
36:43planned a visit
36:44to Epstein's island
36:45in 2012.
36:47So that suggested
36:49me he was caught
36:49in a lie.
36:51Elon Musk
36:53had said
36:54in 2019,
36:56Epstein tried repeatedly
36:57to get me
36:58to visit his island.
36:59I declined.
37:01According to the emails
37:02from 2012,
37:04he's asked,
37:05are you coming
37:06by heli,
37:07helicopter that is,
37:08to the island?
37:10Probably just
37:11to Lula and me.
37:12That's his wife
37:12at the time.
37:13What day slash night
37:15will be the wildest
37:16party on your island?
37:18Oh my gosh.
37:19I mean,
37:20that's, you know,
37:20I've asked
37:21when the wildest party is.
37:23It doesn't mean
37:23we're going to do...
37:24But I'm just saying,
37:25it's...
37:26I don't want to know
37:26about this party.
37:26But again,
37:28we're not saying
37:29anything more here
37:30than just
37:31caught in a lie.
37:32Right.
37:33Now, are these
37:33the files that were
37:34released and then
37:35I think this is today.
37:35But then deleted.
37:36Today.
37:37But they were...
37:39Weren't there
37:39some files released
37:40today and then
37:41deleted off the...
37:43There were some
37:45based on reporting
37:45that involved
37:47the president.
37:48Yeah, I understand that.
37:49And they put those up
37:50and then they deleted them.
37:52Okay.
37:52I think I voted
37:54on a bill
37:54not too long ago
37:56that said
37:57to release it all.
37:58And then it got
37:59signed in the law.
38:00Yeah.
38:01And that...
38:02That should matter.
38:04All right.
38:05So, I just got to read
38:06Richard Branson.
38:08This is...
38:09This is an email
38:11on September 11, 2013.
38:13Obviously, the anniversary
38:14wasn't on his mind.
38:16Oh, jeez.
38:17It was really...
38:18This is too obscene.
38:19It was really nice
38:20seeing you yesterday.
38:21Anytime you're in the area,
38:22we'd love to see you
38:23as long as you bring
38:24your harem.
38:26Oh, my gosh.
38:29And then...
38:30And he also says,
38:31I think if Bill Gates
38:32was willing to say
38:33you've been a brilliant
38:34advisor to him,
38:35that you slipped up
38:36many years ago
38:37by sleeping with
38:38a 17-and-a-half-year-old woman
38:41and were punished for it,
38:43that you've more than
38:43learned your lesson
38:44and have done nothing
38:45that's against the law
38:46since.
38:48And yes,
38:49as a single man,
38:50you seem to have
38:51a penchant for women,
38:52but there's nothing
38:52wrong with that.
38:54There's a lot wrong
38:55with that.
38:56I mean,
38:56at best,
38:57it's worst.
38:59I don't know
39:00what that means,
39:00but...
39:01It just is...
39:03These women I met,
39:05well,
39:05there's over 1,200.
39:07There's over 1,200 survivors.
39:09And I met with
39:11just a small portion
39:12of them,
39:12and they told their stories
39:14and shaking,
39:16physically shaking,
39:17crying,
39:19and there's so much there.
39:21I can't comprehend
39:22why it took
39:23such a big fight
39:24to get this to come out.
39:26Just as the same way,
39:27I don't understand
39:28why didn't they release
39:29it all under
39:30the Biden administration?
39:31Why wasn't it released
39:32under Trump 1.0?
39:34Why wasn't it released
39:35under President Obama?
39:37And you still don't think
39:37you have an answer?
39:39You still just...
39:40I...
39:41It is literally,
39:43to me,
39:44one of the most
39:45repulsive things,
39:45and I think
39:46for most Americans,
39:48they can't...
39:49They cannot understand
39:50why this has to be
39:51constantly covered up.
39:53And it's just
39:54what you said.
39:54It protects the rich,
39:56powerful elites.
39:58And that seems to be
39:59what it's all about.
40:00Well, and it feeds
40:01into the belief
40:03in my old district,
40:05in your district,
40:05I think,
40:06in most districts
40:07across America,
40:08that there's one rule
40:09for middle-class Americans,
40:11and there's another rule
40:13for the rich
40:14and the powerful.
40:15And that's whether
40:16you're, you know,
40:17caught with Epstein,
40:20involved with Epstein,
40:22or whether you're
40:24cheating on your taxes,
40:25or whether, you know,
40:27you break other laws,
40:28whether you have
40:29enough accountants,
40:30whether you have
40:30enough lawyers,
40:31whether you have enough...
40:31And in this case,
40:33what's so disturbing
40:34is you talk about
40:34the bill you guys passed,
40:37it...
40:37Everybody in Congress
40:39voted for it
40:39except for one member,
40:42nearly unanimous.
40:43We're about six weeks
40:45past the deadline
40:46where they were
40:47required by law.
40:49They've been breaking
40:49the law every day,
40:50not releasing these.
40:52And we're still...
40:53We still have
40:54so many redactions.
40:55We have no idea
40:57what's in these files.
40:58So I want to ask you,
40:59too, because you're
41:00two Republicans,
41:01about, or a former
41:02Republican,
41:03but Republican adjacent,
41:05this...
41:09It does seem like
41:10this is not the only issue
41:11that is cracking apart
41:12the Republicans,
41:13because it does seem
41:14that, as opposed
41:15to a year ago
41:16when they were
41:16very united,
41:17they had the whole
41:18united government,
41:19I mean, they had
41:20everything winded
41:21their back in every way.
41:22I mean, all I read
41:23about is this infighting.
41:25I mean, there's
41:26Tucker Carlson,
41:28who's Nazi-curious,
41:30shall we say?
41:31No.
41:32No?
41:33No.
41:34Well, that's certainly
41:35how I would say that.
41:36I mean, he gave a
41:37very favorable interview
41:38to somebody who is...
41:40I mean, I think
41:41Nick Fuente's guy.
41:43I mean, he's
41:43more than Nazi-curious,
41:45he's Nazi-sympathetic.
41:47This is why, to me...
41:48But that doesn't make
41:48Tucker the same as him.
41:50Well, to give a
41:51softball interview,
41:52I mean, I'm not...
41:53I don't agree with
41:53the guy at all,
41:54but I don't think
41:55that makes Tucker
41:56that way.
41:57I love Tucker Carlson.
41:59Okay.
41:59Interesting point.
42:01But so...
42:02But I will say,
42:03so MAGA to me,
42:04MAGA to me
42:05meant secure the border,
42:07no more foreign wars,
42:09no more regime change,
42:10we should care
42:11about grocery prices,
42:12we should care
42:12about housing prices,
42:13we should care
42:14about the next generation,
42:15we should care
42:16about the national debt,
42:17which I think
42:17you totally agree on,
42:18and we should release
42:20the Epstein files,
42:21we should have
42:21government transparency,
42:23that's what we campaigned on,
42:25and I don't know
42:26how in one year's time,
42:27MAGA all of a sudden
42:28becomes okay
42:30with bombing
42:30foreign countries,
42:32okay with regime change,
42:34against releasing
42:35the Epstein files,
42:37so I'm...
42:39That's the split,
42:40is there's a lot of people
42:42that voted
42:42for what we thought
42:44MAGA was,
42:45and then it evolved
42:46into something else,
42:47and I don't know
42:49what happened.
42:49I agree with all
42:51of those things
42:52that the Republican Party
42:53has come up short on.
42:54They've also, though,
42:55on the issue
42:55that you're talking about
42:56on anti-Semitism.
42:57After Charlie Kirk's
42:59tragic death,
43:00Charlie can kind of
43:01hold a lot of these
43:02groups together
43:04because he knew
43:05how to synthesize
43:06the groups.
43:07After his tragic
43:10assassination,
43:11you know,
43:11you look at Turning Point,
43:13you have Ben Shapiro
43:13going up saying,
43:14maybe we shouldn't
43:17be so kind
43:19anti-Semites.
43:20You know,
43:21a Jew stands up
43:22and says that.
43:22The rest of the conference,
43:24everybody's attacking
43:25the Jew,
43:26Ben Shapiro,
43:27for saying,
43:27maybe we shouldn't
43:29be, you know,
43:30basically putting
43:31our arms around people
43:32who are anti-Semitic.
43:34Yeah, they're all over
43:35the map.
43:35And there's a massive
43:36split there,
43:37so if you look at that,
43:38that's a danger.
43:39You look what's happened
43:40with Hispanics.
43:41Donald Trump did
43:42much better with Hispanics
43:43than any Republican
43:44candidate in a long time.
43:46They're upside down,
43:47Republicans with Hispanics,
43:48upside down with
43:49Asian Americans,
43:50which Republicans
43:51were doing great with.
43:52Yeah, they've lost
43:53so, young voters,
43:54they've lost so many
43:55of the advantages
43:56they had just a year ago.
43:58Well, that I understand.
43:59That's easy to say.
44:00Why?
44:01Because they go into
44:01Home Depot and harass
44:02people who have been here
44:03for 10 years and are
44:04working here and are
44:06necessary to be here.
44:07Okay.
44:08But the Jew thing
44:09is totally different.
44:10Yeah.
44:10I mean, you have,
44:11you know, you'll understand
44:13this is someone who was
44:13accused of being
44:14a conspiracy theorist
44:15for a long time.
44:16I mean, Candace Owens
44:17is a conspiracy theorist.
44:18I mean, she has crazy ideas
44:20and a lot of them involve
44:21how terrible the Jews are.
44:23And some people defend that
44:24and some people don't.
44:25This is why I always thought
44:26it was so stupid
44:27to compare Trump with Hitler.
44:29Trump is not Hitler.
44:31This Nick Fuentes prick,
44:32he's Hitler.
44:34Trump is von Hindenburg, okay?
44:37If we want to use that analogy.
44:39Hi, hi.
44:39Trump is the one who said,
44:41and I give him credit for this,
44:42he said,
44:42we don't want you.
44:45He adjudicated this recently.
44:47He said,
44:47we don't want the Nick,
44:48we don't need them.
44:49And he's right about that.
44:51That's where the trouble
44:52is in this party.
44:53Is the Candace Owens,
44:55Bannon sometimes,
44:57Megyn Kelly is on the wrong
44:58side of this, I think.
44:59I don't get why
45:00you're not more upset about it.
45:02I don't agree with
45:03putting any type of hate
45:05or label on any people group.
45:07But I think what you're
45:08talking about is
45:10it is okay
45:11to criticize
45:13a foreign government
45:14the same way
45:15we can criticize
45:16our government.
45:17Yes.
45:17Because I've introduced
45:18No one's arguing that.
45:19Of course.
45:20And I think,
45:20but like for me,
45:22it's I don't want to see
45:23American tax dollars
45:24go to any foreign government
45:25or foreign war.
45:27And that includes Israel.
45:28Yeah.
45:29It's okay to say that.
45:31That's not anti-semitic.
45:33And I think it's important
45:34to be able to say that
45:36as an American.
45:36Well, you can say that, though.
45:37I mean, I've been
45:39pro-Israeli forever.
45:40I mean, when I was in Congress,
45:41people said,
45:41anytime you want
45:42like a key to the,
45:43you know,
45:44city of Tel Aviv,
45:45you can have that.
45:46It's okay, though,
45:46for me to say that Netanyahu,
45:48I think, has been a disaster.
45:49He's been a disaster
45:50not only for the region,
45:51he's been a disaster
45:52for the Israelis.
45:53He's been a disaster.
45:54So, you can say that.
45:57There's nothing anti-semitic
45:59about saying that.
46:00But what we're talking about
46:01when you're talking
46:02about Nick Fuentes,
46:03when you're talking
46:03about Candace Owen,
46:04when you're talking
46:04about a lot of these
46:05fellow travelers
46:06in this area,
46:07that needs to be called out.
46:10That's what Ronald Reagan did.
46:11That's what William F. Buckley did.
46:13That's how they grew
46:14the Republican Party
46:15at a time when people
46:16liked to sideline Republicans.
46:18They need to do that again.
46:19All right.
46:20We'll leave it there.
46:21Thank you, you two.
46:22A lot of fun.
46:23Time for new rules, everybody.
46:24New rules.
46:30Okay.
46:34All right.
46:35New rule.
46:35Please no one tell
46:36the federal government's
46:38National Weather Service
46:39that their winter storm
46:40temperature map
46:41looks a lot like
46:42the gay pride flag.
46:51It's embarrassing enough,
46:52they keep having to say,
46:53watch out for ice.
47:02New rule,
47:03someone has to ask
47:04the makers of
47:05Pampers Prestige,
47:06the new high-end baby diaper
47:08with a silk lining.
47:09You do know
47:10they're just going to
47:11shit in it, right?
47:18Does everything in America
47:20have to have
47:20a high-end version?
47:23If you feel
47:24your baby needs
47:25to have the same
47:26underwear experience
47:27as the royal family
47:28of Lichtenstein,
47:30you've lost the right
47:31to bitch about
47:32the price of eggs.
47:33That's all.
47:39New rule,
47:40the media has to stop
47:41asking the climber,
47:42Alex Honnold,
47:43who just climbed
47:44a hundred-story building
47:45with no ropes or nets,
47:46why he still risks death
47:48now that he's married
47:49with a wife and kids
47:50at home.
48:00Haven't you answered
48:01your own question?
48:09Let's see,
48:10what should I do
48:10this weekend?
48:11Free solo,
48:12a skyscraper in Taiwan,
48:13or make small talk
48:14with the other dads
48:16at Dylan's fourth
48:16birthday party.
48:19Yeah,
48:20I'm going to take
48:20my chances
48:21with the building.
48:23If I fall,
48:25at least I won't
48:25die on the inside.
48:29New rule,
48:30quit trying to sex up
48:31my virtual assistant.
48:34Hi,
48:34I'm Velma,
48:35your virtual assistant.
48:36How can I help you?
48:38Well,
48:38hello, Velma.
48:40I'm Bill.
48:42Can you help me?
48:42I don't know,
48:43can you?
48:45I see you've changed
48:47your hair color,
48:48Velma.
48:48I like it.
48:49See,
48:49two minutes in,
48:50I don't even remember
48:50why I was pissed
48:51at Comcast.
48:59Now that Kanye West
49:01has taken out
49:02a full-page ad
49:03in the Wall Street Journal,
49:04apologizing for his whole,
49:06well,
49:06just all of it,
49:09he has to tell us
49:10why the Wall Street Journal.
49:12And if his answer is,
49:13that's the one Jews read,
49:15right?
49:15Well,
49:16we're right back
49:16where we started on.
49:20And,
49:26and finally,
49:27new rule,
49:27as we're now right
49:28in the middle
49:28of awards season
49:29here in Hollywood,
49:30how about everybody
49:31drop the politics
49:32for a couple of hours
49:33and just enjoy
49:34these happy,
49:35dopey celebrations
49:36of show business.
49:37You know,
49:38I was up for
49:39a Golden Globe
49:40this month and,
49:41oh,
49:42thank you.
49:49I put it with
49:50the 33 Emmys I lost.
49:53That's a real number.
49:54And walking,
49:56and walking in,
49:57some reporter
49:58asked me why
49:59I wasn't wearing
50:00a lapel pin
50:01for the first Minneapolis
50:02shooting a couple
50:03of weeks ago.
50:04And I said,
50:05well,
50:05it was a terrible thing
50:06that happened
50:07and it shouldn't
50:07have happened
50:08and if they didn't
50:09act like such thugs
50:10it wouldn't have
50:10had to happen
50:11but I don't need
50:12to wear a pin
50:12about it.
50:13Now,
50:14please understand,
50:15I had no idea
50:16this question was coming
50:17and so tonight
50:18I'd like to say
50:19that if I had the chance
50:20to think about it
50:20my answer would be
50:22exactly the same.
50:36Yes,
50:37the same.
50:38Ice thugs,
50:39pins,
50:39stupid.
50:40I'm with me
50:41on this one.
50:43So no need to keep
50:47no need to keep
50:48sending supporting
50:49texts.
50:50Yeah,
50:50you know how I hear
50:51about whatever
50:52my latest scandal is?
50:53I open my phone
50:55and there's a dozen
50:55texts,
50:56I support you.
50:58Great,
50:58I assumed you did.
50:59About what?
51:01What are we talking
51:02about?
51:03I'm sorry,
51:04I don't get my gossip
51:05from the internet
51:05like most people.
51:06I get it old school
51:07from the girls
51:08at the nail salon.
51:17I'm not a social
51:18media crackhead.
51:20I use it strictly
51:20to watch dogs
51:21get confused
51:22by magic tricks
51:25and the occasional
51:26video of a cow
51:27getting his head
51:28stuck in a tree.
51:29That's it.
51:31But then I'll be
51:32out to dinner
51:33and the waiter
51:34will come over
51:35and say,
51:35big fan,
51:36Bill,
51:37stay strong.
51:40About what?
51:42And then when I see
51:43what it is,
51:44I'm like,
51:44holy fuck,
51:45this is what you people
51:46are so worked up about?
51:48According to the internet,
51:50what I did with my comments
51:51at the Globes
51:52was laugh,
51:53scoff,
51:54mock,
51:55take a dig at,
51:56and refuse to join
51:57Golden Globes activism.
51:59Golden Globes activism?
52:03Oh, you mean the activism
52:04of fixing a fucking pin
52:06to my suit?
52:08Um,
52:14I'm sorry,
52:15it clashed
52:16with my keffiyeh.
52:25I hope I didn't spoil
52:27the perfect record
52:28of pins and ribbons
52:29solving all the world's problems.
52:31I mean,
52:32you can't name a problem
52:33from guns to AIDS
52:34to bullying
52:35to breast cancer
52:36that still exists
52:37after people wore
52:38a ribbon for it.
52:40Except all of them.
52:42You fucking posers.
52:51Three years ago,
52:52everybody was all
52:53into Ukrainian flags.
52:55What happened to that?
52:56Another cause
52:57tossed into the junk drawer
52:58with yesterday's choke collar?
53:08Get out of here
53:09with your virtue-signaling
53:10body ornaments.
53:12They're just crucifixes
53:13for liberals.
53:22because every time I see one,
53:23I think,
53:24Jesus Christ.
53:32But, you know,
53:33congratulations
53:34for raising awareness.
53:36The awareness
53:36you really care about,
53:38which is how wonderful
53:38you are.
53:40Ricky Gervais
53:41once told
53:42the award show crowd,
53:43don't use it
53:44as a platform
53:45to make a political speech.
53:47You're in no position
53:48to lecture the public
53:49about anything.
53:50You know nothing
53:51about the real world.
53:54And,
53:54and,
53:55and,
53:59of course,
54:00this is where
54:01celebrities say,
54:02how dare you?
54:03We're citizens
54:04with just as much
54:05right to speak out.
54:06Agreed.
54:07You absolutely do.
54:08I'm just saying,
54:09don't.
54:16It's having the opposite
54:18effect of what you want.
54:20Every big name
54:21in show business
54:22came out for Kamala Harris,
54:24from Oprah
54:25to Clooney
54:26to Beyonce,
54:27and she lost
54:28every swing state.
54:30A,
54:32a survey
54:34of Ohio voters
54:35found Taylor Swift's
54:37endorsement,
54:37actually had a negative
54:39impact,
54:40with 24%
54:41saying it made them
54:42less enthusiastic
54:43about her
54:44as a candidate.
54:45Come on.
54:46Read the room,
54:48Democrats.
54:49Democrats.
54:55Celebrities aren't helping.
54:56And why would they?
54:58In a country
54:58where the big issue
54:59now is affordability,
55:01outside of,
55:02I don't know,
55:02Springsteen
55:03and a few others,
55:04celebrities don't
55:05strike people
55:05as relatable
55:06or in touch.
55:07And what their activism
55:08mostly activates
55:09is eye rolls.
55:12Because...
55:18Because stars,
55:20they're not just like us.
55:23They're just not.
55:25They fly private.
55:27They have five houses
55:28all over the world.
55:29They give their kids
55:31ridiculous names.
55:39They make candles
55:41that smell like their vagina.
55:43They...
55:48They wear crazy amounts
55:50of jewelry.
55:52They buy castles.
55:54They buy towns.
55:55They buy islands.
55:56They have shark tanks.
55:58They insure their tits.
56:02They show up three hours late
56:03for their own concerts
56:05and people still go.
56:06Please,
56:07it's okay.
56:08You're stars.
56:09We like you for who you are.
56:11Insulated divas
56:12whose talent allows you
56:13to pig out
56:14on the finer things in life
56:16because we all need
56:17something to aspire to.
56:19But...
56:24But being talented,
56:26which you are,
56:27isn't the same
56:28as knowing things
56:29or having the credibility
56:31to advise people
56:32on their politics.
56:33You rail against privilege,
56:34but you avail yourself
56:36of the greatest privilege
56:37of all
56:38to remain clueless.
56:47Dave Chappelle
56:48lashed out at me
56:49last month
56:49because I called him out
56:50for saying there was
56:51more free speech
56:52in Saudi Arabia
56:53than here.
56:54Well, I was right
56:56what he said
56:56was stupid.
56:57America has many problems,
56:59including free speech issues
57:01on both left and right,
57:02but we're real different
57:03than Saudi Arabia.
57:05If you don't believe me,
57:06try opening a lesbian
57:07art gallery there.
57:13Or wearing a T-shirt
57:15that says
57:15Jesus is the one true God.
57:17Ricky's right.
57:19Celebrities don't know
57:20about the real world.
57:21So Democrats,
57:22it's great.
57:23You have all the big celebs,
57:25but people see them
57:26as an arm
57:27of the Democratic Party,
57:28which they already suspect
57:30for lacking common sense.
57:32I know...
57:37I know
57:38the celebrities mean well
57:40and we thank them
57:41for having their heart
57:42in the right place,
57:43but just do you.
57:44Do what you do so well.
57:45Use your extraordinary talents
57:47for the noble cause
57:48of bringing relief
57:50from the problems
57:51that ribbons and pins
57:52can't fix.
57:54I know it's very important
57:55to you that you feel
57:56that you're making
57:57a difference,
57:57so let me assure you,
57:59who you are.
57:59You're making
58:00independents vote Republican.
58:03All right,
58:03that's our show.
58:04I want to thank
58:04Joe Scarborough,
58:05Marjorie Taylor Greene,
58:07and Nate Bargesi,
58:08Club Brandon.
