00:18are things in your mind going to play out is are the performance of the teams in regular season
00:25not indicative in any way of how they're performing the playoffs which is basically
00:29what these people are saying yeah no i think it matters and i do think you know like look i

00:34unequivocally say the last time these two teams met in a playoff series the rosters weren't i mean
00:38obviously the selfs have made some changes but like the the cores of them remain the same and
00:43like selfs have to prove it they've lost that team twice this year um both without tatum so it's it's
00:49a different equation and and there'll there'll be different wild cards here but certainly you can
00:53look back at last year and if the celtics don't kick away two 20 point leads that series is different
00:57but that all being said like the knicks dominated that series so like you can't even the celtics
01:03have to prove it if they see the knicks along the way but the celtics should feel pretty secure in
01:06where they're at based on the fact that like where they've gotten to this season versus like the knicks
01:11i just kind of feel like haven't made a lot of strides since last year they're just sort of the
01:15same
01:15team and maybe that won't matter maybe just brunson's so good when the game's on the line and it's more
01:20the matchup the physicality i mean i'm not saying detroit isn't physical but specifically for the
01:25knicks they may not match up against certain teams during the season and they may have their lulls
01:29which they've certainly had over the last month but when they played the celtics they seem to match
01:34up carl anthony towns goes to a different place when he plays the celtics and so and jalen brunson is
01:40able to get his offense 100 and for me it comes down to more like bridges and og like that

01:45can get in and no be a very good defender on tatum especially in that series so if if they
01:51are able
01:52if those two play and if they're knocking down corner threes and they're also defending to a high
01:56level it adds a complication to that series you know cat i i kind of push back on cat i

02:01like he's had great games against the celtics play in that playoff series he was very he was better than
02:07i probably expected in that series now uh and brunson is just the wild card like he's really good at

02:11end of games they've been good at not following him you know we'll see if we'll cross that bridge
02:15if they if they see each other in the playoffs and we'll see how they jockey here if anyone cares
02:19about the two seed and and how that plays itself out but i go back to the celtics have the

02:25recent games against physical teams like oklahoma city and san antonio they were much better than
02:29than they responded to physicality at the start of the year
