00:05Of the 3,800 people surveyed by Ipsos BVA, 51% says it was easy to discuss personal issues with
00:12the chatbot. Around 90% of those surveyed had used AI tools before, citing their constant
00:18availability and quote, non-judgmental nature. More than 3 in 5 users describe AI as a life
00:24advisor or a confidant. Only 49% say they feel comfortable sharing issues with healthcare
00:30professionals and 37% with psychologists. Even then, a majority or 68% say it was easy to share
00:37issues with friends and 61% with parents. The survey was carried out among people aged 11 to 25
00:44across France, Germany, Sweden and Ireland in early 2026. The survey also finds about 28% of
00:51respondents meet the threshold for suspected generalized anxiety disorder.
