00:00Brazilian teens are power users when it comes to AI, especially for education.
00:05According to a new survey, more and more students worldwide are turning to chatbots
00:09to understand content at a deeper level. Over 2800 teenagers aged 13 to 17 in the US,
00:16France and Brazil were asked how they use AI. The results? Especially Brazilians use chatbots
00:22daily and 70% of them say that they are important in their lives, much more than the French and
00:28American teens. One of the main applications is for learning. Most say AI helps them improve their
00:34skills in difficult subjects. At the same time, many also use it to do full assignments. Half of
00:40Brazilian students do, compared to one-third in the US. This trend is also visible in universities.
00:46Colleges in the US, for instance, are now turning more towards oral exams to prevent cheating.
00:52But AI is not just a study tool. Around a third of American and Brazilian teens
00:57students ask chatbots for advice or share their feelings. Frequent users are also more likely
01:02to see AI as almost human. This doesn't come without risks, as AI can give false and harmful advice.
01:09Therefore, the researchers recommend figuring out better how to use it safely. How much do you rely on AI?
