00:19the early hours of Saturday, 2 May.
00:22Northumbria police describe the suspect as a tall white man in his 20s with blonde hair,
00:27a local accent and wearing a black puffer jacket.
00:31Detective Chief Inspector Chris Devon praised the victim's bravery and urged anyone with information to come forward.
00:38He says incidents like this are rare, but extra patrols are now in place.
