00:03:35Carlos, what a premiere it was last week, a milestone moment in the history of this company

00:03:39You must be very proud of the hard work that went into it

00:03:42It was a hard year, everyone put so much hard work in Tom

00:03:45And last week was spectacular, everyone brought it

00:04:20Following contest dates scheduled for one fall

00:04:43It was announced earlier today on social media that this match would be kicking off the action here tonight

00:04:48And we're getting a little bit of a run back to Genesis from this past weekend

00:05:44This is going to be a big night for the system, but more on that in a moment.

00:05:48This past weekend in Dallas, Texas, live from the Curtis Colwell Center at Genesis,

00:05:53it was Moose vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Joe Hendry in a triple threat matchup.

00:05:59Moose and Cedric Alexander were initially scheduled to challenge Leon Slater for the X Division Championship.

00:06:06However, due to visa issues, Slater was not able to make it to Dallas.

00:06:10So, we have this incredible triple threat match, but in the course of that bout, Moose sustained a brutal back

00:06:17injury.

00:06:18I mean, for much of the match, we thought Moose was going to be taken out, unable to continue.

00:06:23Our ringside physician and even TNA President Carlos Silva were out checking on Moose,

00:06:29but somehow, someway, the face of the franchise rose above and got back, not only onto his feet, but into

00:06:37the matchup.

00:06:38Very curious to see how Moose navigates this matchup against Cedric Alexander,

00:06:43a decorated former champion in WWE who uses that patented lumbar check to annihilate the lower back of his opponents.

00:06:51But Moose has taken to social media all to address the injury he sustained at Genesis.

00:06:57He said, quote, from the bottom of my heart, I want to sincerely thank everyone for all their concern and

00:07:01get well soon wishes.

00:07:02My back is super stiff still at the moment, but I should be okay for TNA live on AMC in

00:07:09Albuquerque.

00:07:10He said that just two days ago.

00:07:12Well, now we're going to see how much recovery has truly happened between Genesis and now, and that's not a

00:07:20good start.

00:07:22Alexander able to evade out of the corner.

00:07:28Alexander who earned a number one contenders opportunity at the X Division Championship again.

00:07:34That was supposed to take place at Genesis.

00:07:38Meanwhile, Moose, one of the stars of the group known as The System, had a contractual rematch for an X

00:07:44Division title shot,

00:07:45stemming from one of our biggest events of the year, Slammiversary.

00:07:48That went down this past summer, the home of the New York Islanders, the UBS Arena in New York.

00:07:54And as we understand it, both Cedric Alexander and Moose, at some point in the future,

00:08:00will get their opportunity at the X Division title.

00:08:04And we want to send a shout-out to Leon Slater, who competed on WWE SmackDown last week in London,

00:08:10his home country, unable to be here due to visa issues.

00:08:13And all of us here in the United States are dealing with this wicked snowstorm,

00:08:17so a lot of travel issues for plenty.

00:08:19We're all hoping Tom Hannavin won't make it home and will have to sit in a Motel 6 for three

00:08:24days.

00:08:24Motel 6!

00:08:25But right now, Moose finding a way to persevere yet again.

00:08:31Both men have to the count of ten to get back inside the ring or else be counted out by

00:08:35a referee, Daniel Spencer.

00:09:24Also, speaking of knockouts, we'll hear from Elena Black, the newest signing by Daria Ray.

00:09:35And in regards to Moose and the system, JDC will reveal the newest member of the system tonight here on

00:09:43And also, we'll hear from the TNA world champion, Mike Santana,

00:09:48who captured the title last week on the premiere of TNA Thursday Night Impact Live on AMC.

00:09:53He successfully retained this past Saturday at Genesis.

00:10:12Alexander had his number and delivers the move on the outside.

00:10:16Moose, even in a worse way than he was before.

00:10:20And you've seen how Moose has been favoring his lower back throughout this matchup.

00:10:24He put it all on the line at Genesis against Alexander and Hendry.

00:10:28But Moose has got to think about his future.

00:18:42to successfully defend the title against the former champion, Frankie Kazarian,

00:18:48but he also was able to prevent Nick Nevin,

00:18:51the special guest referee at Genesis,

00:18:54from calling his shot and giving a TNA World title shot

00:18:58on a formidable Mike Santana.

00:19:00But Santana proved at Genesis that he can climb to the top of the mountain,

00:19:06and he's ready to kick everybody else off the top.

00:19:12Not only climb to the top,

00:19:16but we should say climb back to the top.

00:19:18After the heartbreak of the calling your shot of Frankie Kazarian months ago,

00:19:25Santana continuing to prove why he is a world champion.

00:21:32And every single day after,

00:21:35I made sure that I put action behind those words,

00:21:41at the gym,

00:21:42or every time I stepped foot in a ring,

00:21:45I made sure that I gave every single thing that I had,

00:21:49because I deserve it,

00:21:52this sport deserves it,

00:21:53and you all deserve it.
