00:11a 70 year old woman vanishes without a trace it had been about a month since anybody had
00:18talked to her I even left her some messages can you please just call and let us know you're okay
00:25her former caretaker tells police she went on a trip with friends she was coming back with some
00:33friends don't know who people are bank records showed that her card had been used at two different
00:40gas stations but a search of her home reveals the horrifying truth the detective went in the
00:49house he said it reeked of incense there were just a ton of flies what I see is a big
00:55mound of
00:56concrete and what looks like a human shoulder hair it just absolutely broke my heart when I heard what
01:07had happened to her and the evidence points to a killer no one expected she's smart she thought hey
01:19you know I'm gonna have time to get my story straight did you not kill her look at me look
01:26at
01:26me and be honest with me July 29th 2021 it's a late summer day in rural North Carolina when Detective
01:54Tim
01:54Austin gets an unusual emergency call a call came into my desk that had been transferred from the
02:01communications center Janiel Sparks is the sister-in-law of Lynn Sparks King who lived in Linville Falls she
02:09informed me that Lynn was 70 years old had suffered from a traumatic brain injury in the past and it
02:17had
02:17been about a month since anybody had talked to her and she wanted somebody to go check on her
02:22according to Janiel Lin has disappeared before but never for this long the explanation from Janiel was
02:30that Lynn she was an alcoholic in the past she would go sometimes for a few weeks that that nobody
02:37could
02:37get in touch with her she was just that type of person she did have a person living in her
02:42home it
02:42was helping to take care of her Elizabeth Carcerino was the live-in caretaker of Lynn Keen
02:55Janiel and her husband live in South Carolina and the rest of the family lives in Florida so it's been
03:01a
03:01blessing to have someone taking care of Lynn but over a month ago Elizabeth told them Lynn had unexpectedly
03:09left town according to Elizabeth some friends that drove up from Louisiana and they had partied gotten
03:18drunk at the home and the next morning Lynn decided that she wanted to go to Louisiana with her friends
03:28my biggest fear was is that if she had suffered from a traumatic brain injury in the past and she's
03:34out here driving she's consuming alcohol she's with people could they possibly do something to her if she
03:40lose control because of her age and her health concerns we have to get everything out there that
03:46we can to try to find her every description of what she could be driving who she could be with
03:52what
03:53clothing she was wearing so I started learning more about Lynn from her family time is our enemy and we'd
04:01want to work as fast as we can to try to locate her in a timely manner for her safety
04:05Lynn Sparks was
04:13born June 17th 1951 in Pinellas County Florida she and her older brother Butch were raised by a single mother
04:23her mom Wanda was divorced from her dad Jack Lynn and Wanda were very very close almost more like sisters
04:34than mother and daughter Lynn had a very adventurous personality we both belong to the swim club so we would
04:46go and
04:46swim and carry on with all our friends in her early 20s Lynn moved to the Florida Keys and worked
04:58as a bartender
04:59there she met Russell Keen a businessman and father of three Russell Keen was a very eccentric man at the
05:10time that Lynn met my father-in-law he was already in the process of going through a brutal divorce
05:16he had
05:19all these wild and crazy ideas and aspirations and a lot of them he put to to fruition he owned
05:26several
05:26pizza huts a couple radio stations he had a hotel down in the Turks and Caicos Russell was a bit
05:34older
05:35than Lynn was she was truly in love with him by the time Russell's divorce was finalized he lost most
05:47of
05:47his assets so he and Lynn moved to North Carolina where they lived in a home owned by Russell's father
05:54he never went back to work he was too distraught he felt like a failure and couldn't get past it
06:01Lynn was the one that went waitressing at Louise's in order to make money for them to live off of
06:09she was a trooper
06:10but they were pretty good loving family like any family with hardships
06:14Lynn got along well with Russell's adult children especially his son Russ and his wife Kristen
06:22I remember the first time I went up to meet Lynn and Russell it was such a warm welcome it
06:29really
06:29was I mean Lynn was just such a sweet person and really kind of took me in you know she
06:35never had
06:36children she kind of looked at Russ and I like her children but in 2001 Kristen's husband Russ was killed
06:47in
06:47the September 11th terrorist attacks
06:52kind of was in a daze and that's when mine and Lynn's relationship really started to grow
06:58she was a sounding board for me we all cried together a lot it brought us closer she was so
07:07close to my daughter they both shared the love of reading and they would go to the bookstore together
07:11she's the one who got Masley her first library card they had a very close relationship
07:19in 2016 the family was struck by more tragedy when Lynn's husband Russell passed away and her mother's
07:27health began to fail Lynn was you know kind of helping her out around the house although I think it
07:34got
07:35to be a little too much for her and that's how Elizabeth came in the picture Elizabeth lived across
07:41the street and they said she was you know very good to Wanda taking care of Wanda Lynn was like
07:48Wanda needs more support I can't really left her and Elizabeth was a strong person so it seemed to be
07:55a good fit
07:58four years later in 2020 Wanda passed away when Lynn was 69 years old which is when her problems with
08:06alcohol seemed to begin Lynn was having a really rough time when Wanda passed it was really hard for her
08:15she's lost her husband now she's lost her mother it was tough
08:24when Lynn visited Kristen and her daughter in Florida that November it became clear how bad things had gotten
08:33something wakes me up at 4 45 in the morning and I'm hearing music out on the pool deck and
08:39I'm like what is
08:39going on so I open up the door and is Lynn and she is well she's having fun she starts
08:49walking up the stairs
08:50of the pool deck to try to come talk to me well she loses her balance and she falls
08:58she fell over the planter smacked her head on the pool deck bleeding and she's unconscious
09:05I'm talking to 911 I'm trying to compress on her head and they come get her doctor says look you
09:11had a
09:11brain bleed she needed to be on supervision because she could get dizzy she had a concussion
09:21when Lynn returned to North Carolina Elizabeth Carcerino moved into the house to care for her
09:27full-time in exchange for room and board Elizabeth understood the situation Lynn was buying all the
09:34food provided a house over her head the next six months Lynn was healing she'd go to bed at like
09:40four o'clock in the afternoon try to sleep through what would be her drinking time so she wouldn't do
09:47that anymore and she got clean when she got the all clear I had been looking at river cruises
09:55you know go see new things and enjoy your life live a little Lynn was excited
10:05but now it's been over one month since Kristen has heard from her mother-in-law Lynn Keene and North
10:12Carolina police are on their way to the house to check on her myself and three other detectives we we
10:20loaded up in two different cars and rode out to to Linville Falls Janiel Lynn's sister-in-law had told
10:27me
10:27that there shouldn't be anybody at the home Elizabeth had already informed them that Lynn told her to
10:33move out I went up there knocked and announced several times found that the door knob it was locked
10:39curtains were closed and I was told that there was a Lincoln Town Car that Lynn drives and it was
10:46not
10:46in the driveway there was some building materials for the wheelchair ramp that was under construction
10:53wood and some bags of what is called sac concrete mix
11:03nothing appeared like like there had been a breaking and entering or any kind of violent crime
11:09this looked like a home that somebody was actively living in that they just weren't home at that time
11:15and I saw no reason to go inside the house because of her health issues and the fact that the
11:21family
11:21hasn't heard from her I went back to the office and I have her entered as a missing endangered person
11:27detective Austin also reaches out to Lin's caretaker Elizabeth Carcerino I called at least two times
11:36trying to get in touch with Elizabeth and only got voicemail I left my name and number and information that
11:43I
11:43needed to talk to her she may be the last person to to see Lin I also have two unknown
11:48friends a Karen and
11:50an unknown male and Lynn took off to Louisiana so I'm beginning to get worried could something have
11:56happened to them coming up the search for Lin keen raises new concerns we were all upset with Lin
12:09disappointed in the fact that she fell off the wagon and detectives find answers buried in the dark I'm
12:18following my nose and the smell of something decomposing is getting stronger the further I go
12:26are you saying I did this I'm saying you know about it
12:4570 year old Lin keen hasn't been heard from in over a month and North Carolina police are unable to
12:53reach
12:53her caretaker Elizabeth Carcerino detectives call Lin's daughter-in-law Kristen Keane to ask if she's
13:02heard from Elizabeth she tells them Elizabeth moved out after Lin left town Elizabeth Carcerino had been in
13:11contact for probably a month with Kristen Keane but Elizabeth had not contacted law enforcement she tells
13:18Kristen hey I'm not at the house anymore I'm camping with my son up in Maggie Valley Elizabeth said I'll
13:26try to reach back out when I have signal but I'm not going to be always available Elizabeth told me
13:34some of Lin's bar five friends from Louisiana had popped in they brought an alcohol and Elizabeth said
13:43well I tried to tell her lens not drinking anymore and she wouldn't listen to me and she said I
13:48just
13:48went to bed she goes but the next morning when I woke up Lin asked me to go to the
13:54pharmacy for her
13:55and get some things and I said why and she said because I'm going to Louisiana she didn't know who
14:02these
14:03people were it kind of heightened her how she was feeling about it we were all upset with Lin disappointed
14:12in the fact that she fell off the wagon and she had done so well I even left her some
14:18messages like Lin
14:19honey I really need to talk to you to make sure you're okay at that stage in her life it
14:27was a lot for her
14:28to take off and just go somewhere and we're like what in the world is going on none of this
14:33makes
14:34sense due to the fact that Lin mentioned traveling to Louisiana detectives put out a bolo for her
14:44vehicle along the route from North Carolina on August 2nd I was notified by the Cherokee Police
14:50Department that the car was found in Cherokee North Carolina they had that vehicle towed to their secure
14:57lot they found that the keys to the vehicle into the driver's seat there was nobody in the vehicle
15:02nothing stood out to them other than there was a Wells Fargo bank card in the car that was in
15:08the name
15:09of Lincoln there was a social security card as well underneath the driver's seat that social security
15:14car belonging to Lincoln Bank records showed that her card had been used in Marion North Carolina and
15:22had been used in Cherokee North Carolina both times to fill up for gas at two different gas stations
15:27it is starting to to worry me because most people would not just leave their bank card their social
15:35security card as well as their car keys all locked up inside their vehicle further analysis of the traffic
15:45recordings reveals another clue the Cherokee tribal police were able to find video of Lynn's car coming
15:54through town and it appeared to be just occupied by one person but the video was very grainy and
16:02couldn't make it out exactly who it was the person driving the vehicle didn't look like Lynn they look
16:09like a bigger body type what's going on my mind is it Lynn's not there where did she go where
16:15did the
16:16people go that we're with Lynn police had not conducted a search of Lynn's house during their initial
16:23wellness check but now they believe there is cause to do so based on this I did apply for a
16:32search warrant
16:38in the interim I've received a call from Kristen that she actually had a friend go into the home
16:44I had a friend that was a former detective in Tennessee I called them up I said find a way
16:50in I don't care
16:52he went in the house he said it reeks of incense and there was you know a couple items that
16:58looked like
16:59somebody had just been there because when I went down into the basement there were just a ton of flies
17:06when he said flies I just felt so sick to my stomach
17:28four days after Lynn Keene was reported missing her daughter-in-law Kristen Keene is informing
17:35investigators about the new concerning details in Lynn's home but the call is interrupted by Lynn's
17:42caretaker Kristen told me she was getting a call waiting from Elizabeth so I thought I said take
17:50the call call me back let me know what she says shortly after that Kristen calls me back and tells
17:58me
17:58that Elizabeth is very angry with her she got really angry at me because she felt I was accusing her
18:07of
18:08doing something to Lynn I told her Elizabeth I said not for nothing you are the last person to see
18:17Lynn
18:17alive as we know it because nobody's seen her since you're gonna be the first person that the police want
18:24to talk to Kristen says that it's just very unlike Elizabeth the way she was acting she was acting guilty
18:31of
18:31something what's going on in my head is I need to find Elizabeth I need to speak with her because
18:39her
18:39story of what she has told the family is not adding up as their calls to Elizabeth Carcerino continue to
18:50go
18:50unanswered detectives returned to Lynn's home with a search warrant there was nothing visual to the
18:59naked eye I mean everything appeared to be very tidy there was no indicators that any kind of struggle
19:07or anything had taken place in that house I checked the main floor of the home and then I see
19:16a doorway
19:17that I don't know where it goes well I open this door and immediately I'm hit with a very strong
19:25odor of
19:26something dead there's also very large flies and so I start making my way down the stairs of this home
19:39flies are everywhere and the smell of something decomposing is getting stronger the further I get
19:47to go I walk into this back room and off in the corner I see I see a pile of
19:56something covered in
19:57the tarp and a box sitting on top of it I remove the box I set it off the side
20:05and I pull the tarp back
20:07what I see is something it looks like a big mound of concrete and sitting on top of it is
20:14a bag of
20:16pre-mixed concrete mix and the smell is just overwhelming and I can see mixed on the edges of the
20:28concrete what
20:28looks like a human shoulder hair I've got a crime scene I I don't know who's in the concrete I
20:39think
20:39it's Lynn I immediately call for assistance from other investigators I request the assistance of the
20:49North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and I start taping off the area the North Carolina Bureau
21:00of Investigation sends special agent Maggie Holder to the crime scene her first challenge is how to
21:07remove the body for identification I was a little intimidated trying to figure out you know what's the
21:14best way to do this and preserve the body to make sure that we can send the body to autopsy
21:20they start
21:22chiseling away at the concrete they proved it was a human being could not see a face I could see
21:29parts
21:29of arms I could see the thighs parts of the calf very decomposed around the neck I can see a
21:38belt that is
21:40tapped as in this this person's been strangled while it's clear a murder has been committed there is
21:50little else in the home to explain how or when it happened initially on the first crime scene search
21:57it was not apparent that there was any blood or anything after investigators leave the scene they call
22:09Lynn's loved ones they are devastated when they learn of the discovery I kind of had already tried to prepare
22:18myself for the worst I was sitting on the couch with my daughter in the living room and Tim Austin
22:27called he said
22:30Kristen I'm certain that's her in the basement of course we have to do autopsy and everything but based on
22:37her hair it's her
22:41Lynn and I were so close that it just absolutely broke my heart when I heard what had happened to
22:51her
22:53my daughter and I just start crying and we just start sobbing I'm just like you don't ever want that
22:59to be true
23:03and their suspicion of Elizabeth Carcerino continues to grow
23:11Elizabeth Carcerino avoided contacting law enforcement it clearly showed that she was trying to avoid us
23:20the day after finding the body detective Austin uncovers more incriminating evidence I was able to find the
23:29Marion North Carolina that the store where the gas was purchased did have video when he reviews the footage
23:40from July 29th a month after Lynn was last seen he spots a familiar face it was not Lynn and
23:50the video Elizabeth
23:52is coming to the store driving Lynn's car pulling into the gas pumps using a car to get gas and
24:00in my head
24:01I'm putting it together that Elizabeth is supposed to be in Maggie Valley all of Lynn's stuff is found in
24:07Cherokee and we're talking about two areas that are less than 30 minutes apart I've got Elizabeth driving
24:16Lynn's car and I've got Elizabeth using Lynn's bank card we had nothing saying that Lynn ever gave her
24:24permission to use this so I went before her magistrate who issued a warrant for Elizabeth Carcerino's arrest
24:33it started going through my mind of how how could Lynn have been taken to the basement could one person
24:40have carried her or is there somebody else involved I needed those questions answered from there I began
24:48working on a phone order in order to get up on Elizabeth Carcerino's cell phone to see where she was
24:55in
24:56real time and so at that point I knew we had to find Elizabeth fast
25:18North Carolina investigators have collected evidence suggesting Elizabeth Carcerino murdered
25:25her former patient Lynn Keen while the search for Elizabeth continues detectives take a closer look
25:33at her background Elizabeth Catherine Carcerino born August 6 1968 her parents were Mary and Carl Smith
25:44and she did have a brother named Johnny she was raised in Goose Creek South Carolina just outside
25:50Charleston we did find out that she had spent some time in Utahville South Carolina she did have three
25:57children two boys and a girl and one of her sons she had just reconnected with and was trying to
26:06forge a
26:07relationship the other son was incarcerated and the daughter did not have anything to do with her
26:14Elizabeth Carcerino had no type of medical training she was basically just a layman caretaker I think
26:25that her friendship with Wanda was kind and so she wanted to help and just said she could be the
26:32caretaker Elizabeth was kind enough but she was definitely a very direct person she seemed a little
26:39nervous around me the only times that in her criminal history that she had any type of trouble
26:46was writing bad checks she had been charged with several nothing in Elizabeth's record indicates she
26:57would be capable of committing such a gruesome crime so investigators focus on tracking her down for
27:04questioning she said that she was traveling with her son and camping in Maggie Valley with him and we
27:14needed to make sure that Elizabeth's son had nothing to do with Lynn going missing and we were able to
27:22determine that he lives in Georgia when agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation interview Elizabeth's
27:31son he claims to know nothing about Lynn's murder we got up on the phone line his phone never left
27:41the
27:41state of Georgia and he was also very cooperative throughout the investigation detectives conclude Elizabeth's
27:49son had nothing to do with Lynn's murder and rule him out as a potential suspect he informs detectives he
27:58last saw his mother less than a year ago it was determined that he really didn't have a lot to
28:05do with her
28:14on August 5th two days after the body was removed from Lynn Keen's house the medical examiner conducts an autopsy
28:24dental records were provided which belonged to Lynn Keen and were matched to the body to confirm that
28:29that that was in fact Lynn according to the pathologist preliminary cause of death was blunt force trauma to
28:37the head and ligature strangulation and it would be in that order she was struck with some object in the
28:44head causing a big head injury but did not kill her ligature strangulation came second and that is what killed
28:51her
28:56investigators now have a positive identification cause of death and a prime suspect but they are no
29:03closer to bringing her in we were able to find a couple of photographs of Elizabeth we put this out
29:11that
29:12she was wanted on August 6th they discover why Elizabeth has been so difficult to track down there
29:21was a nurse at a hospital that actually saw the picture of Elizabeth and recognized her as a patient
29:27of hers that was currently in the hospital detectives are informed that Elizabeth was admitted two days earlier on
29:38August 4th it was relayed to me through Cherokee tribal police that she was in a campground staying
29:47in a tent in Cherokee North Carolina which was actually only a few hundred yards from where the car was
29:51abandoned she had left the vehicle and walked on foot to a campground and had been camping in a tent
30:02she took some Tylenol PM and slit her wrists trying to take her own life to me that is showing
30:13that she's
30:13feeling very guilty for something but definitely something traumatic has happened local law enforcement
30:21and Silva were able to arrest Elizabeth at the medical facility where she was transferred from their custody to
30:31the Avery County Sheriff's office your first thought is okay I've got to get this person to talk to me
30:38this
30:39was just such an egregious way to to murder someone and I just wanted to know what happened
30:49coming up police confront Elizabeth about what exactly happened to Lynn Keene
31:02she tried to use the old amnesia thing I think she was distancing herself from the crime
31:12and Lynn's loved ones seek justice for her terrifying murder and we're both trying to play back this whole
31:21thing in her head like how could we have missed that on August 7th four days after the body of
31:43Lynn Keene
31:44was found in her basement investigators questioned the suspected killer Elizabeth Carcerino
31:51my goal at the time was to establish a report to get her to open up to talk to us
32:01and then to be able to use those facts that she gives me to establish a motive
32:10when was the last time you talked with Miss Lynn the last time I spoke to her
32:18she was supposedly in Louisiana she was coming back with some friends don't know who the people are only know
32:28what the one girl's first name is
32:44and whenever he tells her that she puts her hands uh over her face and just you know acts really
32:52surprised and starts sort of crying
32:58while Elizabeth appears saddened by the news of Lynn's death she says caring for the woman had been a challenge
33:07I was constantly cleaning up everything of course she didn't remember that because she was drunk
33:13she yelled at me and told me that she might as well pay somebody to clean the house because I
33:18don't do a damn thing to sit on my house
33:20and that pissed me off to no when because I did absolutely everything I went and bought all the groceries
33:26I put everything up
33:27I did all the cooking I did all the cleaning I did all the laundry I even put her clothes
33:32up for her
33:33and nothing was never good enough
33:36when she got to that point no it wasn't
33:39what did she do to you to get you over that breaking
33:42are you saying I did this
33:45I'm saying you know about it
33:50I don't know what to say to you if I can't if I can't remember right this moment I don't
33:55know what to say
33:57you want to go take a walk
33:59sure
34:03after a break for Elizabeth to regain her composure investigators try questioning her again
34:24and it went back and forth back and forth that she just couldn't remember the details and what had happened
34:31so then there come a point in time within the interview that I kind of changed my role
34:37and got more aggressive with her
34:39you got tired of her
34:42and you killed her
34:44did you not kill her?
34:46look at me
34:47look at me and be honest with me
34:50you killed her didn't you?
34:53yes I killed her
34:56I don't I can't get it out of my head
35:00that's right
35:02I can't get it out of what I did
35:06Elizabeth refuses to go into detail
35:09but her actions after leaving Lynn's house show investigators she went to great lengths attempting to cover it up
35:18Elizabeth is smart and knew to call Kristen multiple times and put her on a different trail
35:26like Karen in Louisiana going down with friends
35:30she knew to bring up that she went to Maggie Valley with her son
35:34she thought hey you know I'm going to have time to get my story straight
35:43as for motive they believe the growing tension between the two women finally became too much for Elizabeth to take
35:53according to Elizabeth Carcerino
35:56Lynn was very restricted about where she could go
36:01what she could do
36:02that it was pretty much she had to be 24-7 with Lynn
36:07and I believe that over a period of time that anger and resentment and rage built up
36:16and I think that maybe on this particular day I think that Elizabeth lost her temper
36:28she snaps on her and hits her over the head
36:32instead of calling 911 of oh god I've messed up I've hurt her let's get her some help
36:41she put a belt around her neck and took her life
36:50I spoke with the district attorney and he felt it appropriate to go ahead and have a warrant issued for
36:57Elizabeth for the crime of murder
37:01so you you've got them in custody
37:03so there is some highs there is some still some lows because you still got a lot of work to
37:09do
37:09this case has got to be presented in a court of law
37:12and you're trying to make sure everything is tied up
37:16to where that this is going to be a winnable case
37:36after a week of investigation
37:38Elizabeth Carcerino is arrested and charged with the murder of 70-year-old Lynn Keen
37:46they called us right away and it was like you know we got her we got her
37:51I'm crying like a baby and Lynn's brother just devastated
37:56first he lost his mom and now his sister so horribly you know and Janiel too
38:01and we're both trying to play back this whole thing in our head like how could we have missed that
38:07like investigators Lynn's loved ones are frustrated by Elizabeth's refusal to explain the whole truth
38:17she claims to have had amnesia can't remember anything
38:21BS I call BS
38:24she's lying lying lying
38:30the family's resentment is intensified by the amount of time it takes to bring Elizabeth to justice
38:39Elizabeth's attorney died and so they we had to wait I mean it took two and a half years to
38:44even get to trial
38:47in January 2024 the long-awaited day finally comes
38:54I was there for that day I was sitting in the front row and in walks Elizabeth right through the
38:59door
38:59she looks at me and then quickly looks away
39:02I'm hmm looks good kill
39:06I was told she had an option plead guilty it would be easier and she might get less time
39:17rather than go to trial Elizabeth decides to plead guilty
39:23at her sentencing hearing prosecutors present new evidence for the court to take into consideration
39:30the crime scene agent who initially processed the scene on August 3rd he returned and performed something called blue star
39:39blue star is like luminol basically a liquid chemical mixture that we use to look for blood that has either
39:46been cleaned up or there's small amounts of blood that can't be seen with the naked eye
39:50sprays
39:51sprays
39:51sprays
39:51sprays it within the master bedroom area and it fluoresced quite a bit on the floor on the bed and
39:59in different areas within the residence
40:02and that indicated to us that that is in fact probably where the initial assault occurred and then likely murdered
40:10there
40:14ives
40:15prosecutors believe Elizabeth used the belt to drag Lynn down to the basement
40:20where she used the bags of concrete to attempt to hide the body
40:28she's telling the family the stories that some friends in Lynn took off to Louisiana and Elizabeth packs everything she
40:35can
40:36She goes to the store and buys several things using Lynn's bank card, and she goes on the run.
40:42To kill this woman that you had taken care of and for the next month lie to her family
40:51while her body is decomposing in the basement, it's pretty sick.
41:00Lynn's loved ones add personal statements requesting Elizabeth receive the maximum sentence under the law.
41:09My impact statement was mostly to let everybody know who Lynn was and how wonderful she was.
41:16None of us are perfect, but her heart and her soul.
41:21She was a wonderful person.
41:23And she was caring, she was giving, she was kind.
41:26I wanted them to know about her.
41:30And the last part of my impact statement was directed mostly towards Elizabeth
41:34and that she was lying, how evil she was.
41:40How could you live in a house where you murdered someone
41:44and they're rotting downstairs in the basement below you for almost two months?
41:49It's insane to me.
41:52On January the 5th, 2024, Elizabeth Carcerino was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
42:03I'm a spiritual person, like I talk to Lynn every day.
42:06There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her, kind of like my husband, you
42:10know.
42:11I might not see them, but they're still here with me in spirit.
42:16Lynn was just a fun-loving, free spirit.
42:19She was kind.
42:20She was generous.
42:22I mean, in this day and age, when a lot of people have forgotten what kindness is,
42:29I mean, yeah, it's a loss.
42:32She never met a stranger.
42:33She never met a stranger.
42:46She never met a stranger.
