00:00This unpretentious, yet delicious, 90s dinner,
00:03it's five stars, takes me back.
00:05I'm gonna cut this flank steak into just thin strips.
00:09I mean, we know the flank steak is our fancy star,
00:11but this marinade is what it's all about.
00:14You're gonna add in some fat, soy sauce,
00:16also adding some green onion,
00:17couple cloves of garlic, a little bit of ginger,
00:19couple tablespoons of vinegar,
00:21and then a couple tablespoons of honey.
00:23That's it, so I'm just gonna blend this up
00:24and pour it over the steak.
00:25Get it all in there, let it go,
00:2824 to 48 hours.
00:30So here's what we're working with.
00:31Here's how you do.
00:32You get you a piece out and you roll it into a pinwheel.
00:36Just stick a toothpick in it and we have the cutest,
00:38most flavorful bites of steak you're gonna have,
00:41and they don't take long to cook at all.
00:43The sugar in the honey is gonna help really caramelize
00:45this outside and get all that extra flavor.
00:48To me, this is like the perfect entertaining meal,
00:50so I'm gonna serve it up on a platter.
00:52You are going to be the hit of the night
00:54when you serve this up.
00:55It cuts like butter.
00:59Takes me back.
01:00It is by far the most tender flank steak you'll ever have.
01:04I would also like to know,
01:05has anyone ever had these from the 90s?
