Europe has signalled its readiness to respond after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to raise tariffs to 25 percent on cars and trucks imported from the European Union.

00:23Eurogroup President Kyriakos Pirakakis said dialogue remains the bloc's first choice and that Europe values the transatlantic relationship.
00:32However, he stressed that all options would be considered if commitments are breached.
00:37On the same day, German Vice-Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil urged Trump to honour the tariff agreement reached
