00:00U.S. forces sank six small Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
00:04The U.S. military says they were deployed by the Islamic Republic to harass vessels
00:09waiting to pass through the key waterway. Now, these strikes came the same day the
00:13military launched Project Freedom, a U.S. initiative to help safely escort traffic
00:18through the strait. U.S. Central Command says at least two U.S. ships crossed on Monday,
00:23a claim that Iran slammed as baseless. The regime also promised to resist efforts to
00:29reopen the strait. Now, that prompted President Trump to tell Fox News that if they make good
00:33on that promise, they'd be, quote, blown off the face of the earth. And despite those hostilities,
00:38the president also claimed that Iran has become, quote, much more malleable regarding peace talks.
00:44The Supreme Court has temporarily restored access to the abortion pill mifepristone,
00:49blocking a lower court's order restricting access to the drug via telemedicine and the mail.
00:53The New Orleans-based Fifth Circuit ordered the Food and Drug Administration to require doctors
00:57to prescribe the medication in person only. The Supreme Court paused that order until May 11th.
01:03So what happens then and what kind of implications does a final ruling have for the controversial drug?
01:10The Post's political reporter, Ryan King, filled me in.
01:12So the Supreme Court is going to receive briefs over the coming days and then ultimately make a final
01:18decision on this. And this will have major implications for the country if the Supreme Court
01:25decides to kind of reverse course and decide to follow suit with the Fifth Circuit in blocking the FDA's
01:33loosening of access to mifepristone, then it'll basically revert back to how things were pre-2021
01:40when there was a requirement that women would have to go to a doctor in person to receive
01:47access to mifepristone, which is part of a two-drug regiment to cause an abortion.
01:54And it is pretty significant because what we've seen over recent years after the fall of Roe v.
02:00Wade is that states have been sort of trying to police themselves or undermine each other on
02:07abortion policy, largely through the abortion pills. So, for example, in New York, you have a shield law
02:14that New York has a place to protect doctors and patients from scrutiny. And Texas has a law
02:25restricting abortion and they're battling New York right now in a big case over a doctor in New York
02:31prescribing abortion pills to women in Texas and via telehealth and then mailing it to them.
02:38So, this has kind of been a big fight that's kind of been happening. And what's also interesting about
02:44this case is that the Trump administration has decided not to reverse the FDA's policy loosening
02:50access to mifepristone, which is something that a lot of pro-life groups have been trying to pressure
02:55them to do to revert back to what it was pre-2021 before the Biden administration had made that change.
03:02And so, there's actually been a lot of frustration with the Trump administration from these pro-life
03:07groups. So, now they're returning to court to try to get the Supreme Court or another court to
03:15go back to what it was pre-2021.
03:18Former JPMorgan banker Chirayu Rana has been dragged online for falsely accusing his former colleague,
03:25Lorna Hajdini, of drugging him and making him her, quote, sex slave. I'm sure this story has made
03:31its way across your social media in some way, shape, or form recently. JPMorgan calls the
03:36accusation filed in a lawsuit by Rana completely fabricated. Now, the suit was pulled last week
03:41and then popped up again on Monday afternoon with what Rana says are new evidence of his claims.
03:46In the new filing, one alleged witness, who appears to be a family friend of Rana,
03:50says he was staying at an apartment while visiting New York City and was woken up by Hajdini's drunken
03:55antics in the middle of the night. The witness even claims she invited him to join in on a threesome.
04:00Now, after he refused, the witness says Hajdini returned to the bedroom, but he then heard
04:04Rana pleading, quote, no, no, no, you have to leave. I'm not going to do this. Please stop.
04:10Also in the suit, another anonymous witness. This one, seemingly the owner of an apartment where
04:15some of this allegedly took place, claims that he saw Hajdini kissing Rana's neck on the street
04:20sometime during the summer of 2024. Now, before you take all of this as gospel,
04:24it's worth noting that Rana has a history of fudging facts. The Post can exclusively report
04:30that Rana lied to his bosses about his father dying so he could collect nearly three months of
04:36paid leave. And he apparently used that time off to prepare the initial lawsuit against Hajdini and
04:42JP Morgan while he was away. To be perfectly clear here, his father is alive and well. How am I
04:48so sure?
04:49The Post spoke to him. But in December of 2024, Rana told his bosses he needed to be with his
04:54family
04:54following his father's untimely death. Now, he managed to cobble together a variety of paid leave
05:00days, including five days of bereavement to do it. When the Post spoke with Rana's father and asked him
05:06about his son's legal battles with the big bank, he said, quote, I don't know anything about it. He
05:11didn't talk with us or anything. He's my son. He's a good guy. Now, in Rana's initial suit,
05:16he claimed that Hajdini threatened his career if he refused to partake in degrading sex acts.
05:21But the thing is, the Post learned he never even reported to her, meaning she wouldn't have been
05:28able to have any impact on his career. Now, asked for comment, a JP Morgan spokesman told the Post
05:33that their internal investigation reviewed emails, phone records, and witness statements
05:37and found no evidence supporting the claims and that Rana wasn't even cooperative.
