The story follows an extraterrestrial who—due to an interplanetary war—ends up as the sole survivor of her kind. Aided by his spaceship, he must wander the cosmos in search of a suitable planet to survive on. By a twist of fate, he eventually arrives on Earth during the Great Glaciation—but it is only once he reaches Earth that her true adventure begins.
