RARE GIANT EAGLES SPOTTED IN SNOWY WONDERLAND
WITH PIX AND VID
By Shuk Yee Tsang
Breathtaking footage and images show massive eagles thriving in snowy conditions.
Wildlife photographer and guide Sean Weekly, 36, from Portishead, North Somerset, captured the scenes in Poland.
The clips feature both white-tailed eagles and the rare Steller’s sea eagle, the largest and heaviest of all sea eagles.
The footage captures the birds moving across snowy landscapes, their sheer size and wingspan standing out against the white surroundings.
He also filmed white-tailed eagles during a guiding trip, calling them “such impressive birds.”
Speaking about the Steller’s sea eagle, he said “one of the world’s rarest eagle species.” Noting that very little is known about them due to their remote habitat.
Viewers were left in awe, with one commenting: “Wow, absolutely awesome, still on my bucket list!”
Another said: “They are so massive and beautiful to see live… one of my favourite birds!”
Others described the scenes as “absolutely incredible” and “majestic,”
